Excellent video. Thank you for making it. I have a 125cc Coolster gokart with FNR that is stuck in neutral. Can’t shift at all. I have zero knowledge of opening up the tranny side but I suppose I have to. Will refer to this video for instructions.
If you're stuck in neutral you most likely have a worn or broken shift fork which will require splitting the case to repair. It's not that complicated to do if you're mechanically inclined. Just take lots of photos while taking it apart. Good luck!
Thanks mate doing a gear box rebuild on my 125 this week end there a pain when they brake but this should help me get through it hopefully nice video mate👍
Hi do you have any sort of social media I could contact you on because I’ve put a new gear box in my engine I put it in the exact same as old one and it’s now stuck in neutral so I’ve taken clutch cover off like you have and the shifter drum doesn’t move freely with the shifter do you have any idea what the problem could be

Hey mate, I change the clutch boss and all the plates on my bike, I also changed chain and both Sprockets and this has happened to my bike it’s a YXF-600R thundercat. Any ideas what it could be? Cheers mate
Hi Garth It's hard to say without looking at it but I would guess that the fork on the end of the gear change lever isn't over the pin and is jammed up when you put the casing on If it's not that I would take the clutch back off and see what's happening behind. See if you find a picture online what it's supposed to look like Hope this helps
Not sure if you still reply to this but I have a M2R 1st 2nd 3rd gears are fine when I try go into 4th nothing happens its like I'm In neutral what could it be I no it won't be a stripped tooth as I've had that before on diffrent bikes I'm not to worried as I know a pitbike will run all day long with just 3 gears but I'd rather know what it was as il get round to fixing it when I get bored.

I would take it apart like the video to check if the linkage is working correctly If that's all OK you would need to split the casings and check the gears

Is it slipping just revving with no drive? Could be likely to the fact if you removed the friction plates the first plate must be place in a certain angle and the other plates stacked correctly on the top plate when you turn it if it won’t turn the transmission when in gear it is not in correct or plates are worn 👍

I have the same stomp and my shift gear is hard like that but only on second gear
Hi sir do you have a video on how to replace gear shift drum?
Hi
Not at the moment sorry
To change the gear change drum you have to split the bottom end cases

I put a helicoil in the retention lever hole. Put it back to where it was supposed to be and put it back together. It was fine then.

Check the spring loaded detent arm with the roller on the end.
