    You are a life saver. This is the only video I could find that show's how to wire my specific engine. For the life of me I could not find out where that second connection goes. The one that is coming out of the engine, right next to the stator. I'm guessing that is for a headlight without a battery. Again you helped me so much. I appreciate it brother. Thanks again.

    Thanks Mike. I can do all the mechanical stuff but am never confident about wiring. I have been watching you videos for years and just picked up a beat up pit bike, actually actual 2003 Honda xr50 with 125cc lifan type engine. It has no spark, but now I know everything is wired correctly. I will move on to coil and other parts swapping until I get spark.

    Awesome, glad you will be making future videos. I am building from the ground up a ct70 with a zs190. Still waiting for the motor to come in but I have everything else done. Will most likely need your videos to do the blinkers, brake light, etc. With a diy harness. It has a starter too, which complicates things a bit more. Thanks!

    I am about to order the semiauto version because I ordered a jocky shifter for it. I am making a 125cc 4 stroke 4spd cafe chopper bobber bicycle out of a micargi vancouver. I was debating on the 150cc version but meh it is manual and with a jocky shifter Idw to have to worry about the clutch bc then it'll technically be a suicide shifter instead of a jocky shifter so I'll be alright with the 125cc just with aftermarket carburetor, exhaust, sprocket, and throttle cable. And the 150cc manual is really like 20mph more for like 140 more bucks. I think 50-65 on a bicycle is prolly fast enough and 80 might be a little too fast. I thought about it tho but 125cc will be just fine because I am lazy but I like to shift too so the semiauto will allow me to be somewhat lazy and still get to shift. Plus I like that semiauto is N1234 and not 1N234 maybe that's my laziness speaking for me.
    Weird tho how the 150cc weighs 38lbs and the 125cc weighs 50lbs lol.

    Hey dude, I'm new to your channel but I have a very curious question to ask ya. I bought a Kent Bayside (a beach cruiser bicycle) and was wanting to know if I could fit a 125cc Lifan/Jiangchang (or as I prefer to call it: Cheng Chung) in the frame. You think it'll work out smooth or will I possibly have to cut and grind?

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  2 роки тому

      I’m not familiar with those bikes, but I find it very unlikely that the Lifan would fit without serious modification to the frame. I would think that you would also need to switch to a motorcycle rear tire, I doubt the spokes on a bicycle rim could handle the torque of the Lifan.

    Whats the wires/part called coming out of the engine and can you replace them or do you have to get a new engine

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  3 роки тому +1

      Those are your stator wires. They are part of a plate that is behind the flywheel. They are replaceable, you can purchase an entire stator plate that bolts right into place. It’s a fairly easy swap. Pull the flywheel…..remove the two screws that hold the plate on…..install the new plate/wires and reinstall the flywheel.
