- The 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron successfully flew an F-15E Strike Eagle carrying six JDAMs on a single side of the aircraft on February 22, 2021, showcasing a proof of concept for Agile Combat Employment, known as "ACE."
"Currently the F-15E is authorized to carry a max of nine JDAMs, but the success of this test expands that to 15 JDAMs," said Maj. Andrew Swanson, F-15E Weapons System Officer, 85th TES.
"Strike Eagle can now carry enough JDAMs for an active combat mission, land at a remote location, and reload itself and/or another aircraft - such as an F-35 or F-22 - for additional combat sorties," said Lt. Col. Jacob Lindaman, commander, 85th TES.
The Air Force’s F-15E ‘Bomb Truck’ can now carry 15 JDAMs or Joint Direct Attack Munitions

The lion that just won't lye down and retire .... way past it's prime .... it keeps on fighting another day .... best plane ever made in military history F-15 !
The Strike Eagle is not the same, it's on an different frame to accommodate the second seat(among other things). This is also why the F15 has a perfect kill:loss ratio. A few Strike Eagles have been shot down, but since they are a different airframe, not a different model, they are different it doesn't count to the loss ratio.
I'm surprised it can land with 15 jdams. That's a lot of pressure of the landing gear, airframe and brakes!
It only has to land with 6 after an initial strike.
@@rudimarchand8613 I was referring to it's new role as an emergency delivery truck. The F-15 continues to amaze me! .
@@rudimarchand8613 I was referring to it new role as an emergency delivery truck. The F-15 continues to amaze me! I'm so curious about it's new electronic defense system EPAWS(?) But I know it's classified - seems like they dumped so much money into it.
@@rudimarchand8613 the video stated that the additional load is for transport so that it can bring more munitions for use by others at where it will be based. This is good in the initial stages of a conflict as it means they can execute more than one mission once they arrive or support other AC that use the munitions as well.
It's like carrying a full size pack on your back and then carrying a smaller pack on your front.

Amen brother
@@ThatCarGuy if I have this right no F15s have been lost in air to air
@@yeetseekingmissile3252 Correct no F15s have ever been shot down. But the F15 Strike Eagle has been 3 times, but as stated above they are different air frames.
"According to official releases from Boeing and the U.S. Air Force, the F-15 Eagle has a clear-cut win-to-loss ratio of 104 to zero. "
@@ThatCarGuy F15 still one of the badass aircraft ever
Thanks for the knowledge
JDAMs remain somewhat accurate even while in a GPS denied area. The JDAM will rely entirely on it's INS (Inertial Navigation System) which boasts an error of less than 13 meters. That's not putting ordinance through a specific window of a specific floor, but impressive, nonetheless.
love this monster machine. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Such a Very Capable and Deadly and Beautiful Aircraft.
The old F-4 was a bomb truck for the USAF also. 😎
I’m 50 years old and I was literally a baby when this plane first flew😳
F-15EX is one beast of a machine..pure bliss..
4 JDAMs are plenty, but having more is always better.
..but leave some space for those sidewinders I need the growl
F-22s and F-35s would have already cleared any air to air threats probably not a usual load out but it's nice to know you can use them if needed

These videos are very cool... thanks man
F-15 Eagle but it’s really a workhorse
Crazy how far our tech has come
Coming from a kid who wants to fly Eagles, what an amazing video thank you.
Well they are building new F-15s, so its entirely possible you could fly one.
I love its angled air intake look
All F-15s have that, the air intakes are on hinges, this is to optimize Air flow to the engines at different angles of attack.
Thanks you for your service and thank you for your efforts and god bless you all
Might not be the best way to go, but it's not a bad idea. Just another job that the F-15 can do superbly!!
RedWheel, you are the absolute BEST narrator! Keep 'em coming!
Thanks again....Excellent...!
GOD BLESS AMERICA'S MILITARY.
And the pregnant fighter pilots as well. Smh.
Thank you for your service
Fantastic aircraft.
Superb machine
Great video and great advancements
thanks for doing a good video worth watching instead of these others who do the bare minimum and a robot voice.
What a great platform. Love my Air Force 🇺🇸
Very cool... but sad for some Americans who are praising Russian military equipments.... praising putin insult Joe

This channel rocks:)
15 OMG 15 🌹 to the bad guys lol
Let's go ahead and modify a few of them for stealth operations but try to keep it interchangeable.
aint no way randomly looking up bombing videos and theres a clip of me from 2016 lmao and on the wrong jet for the video too!
Beautiful and rare formation there at the finish. Looks like it might have been over the UAE and Mirage and Rafael in the Group ??
Nice video and very informative and very entertaining and very satisfaction more videos.
Awesome i love the f15 ex and f22 and f16 no more than those three
2:13 why does the one Airman on the right cross his arms the wrong way? :)
Never miss an opportunity to stand out from the crowd 👏🏾😎
I believe he was left handed. So not the wrong way :)

Sure is a lot to think about- amazing. Stay safe- God Bless you all.
How do you transfer them to another aircraft at a remote location? Do the pilots take a big bowl of Wheaties with them?
canopy has a lot of view
What else can I say but J DAMN that's good!
So much freedom
this thing just keeps going and going how hard is it to hit target dropping i no pilot so can i have the ordnance lifter for around the property
Let's go head and rearm and upgrade our f 35s and f 22s
1:40 hehe FYI jdams can be dropped at Mach and altitude and can be tossed by the plane over 30 miles I am pretty sure the actual distance and speeds are classified.
The legend
When you have a combat proven aircraft with a kill ratio of 107 kills and no losses than you know you are confident that it can carry out missions such such as air to air or air to ground bombing missions. Since the 1970's period,; It gets better and better. It can carry around twenty 9ne missles and with its cannon give suppressive fire where needed. The advanced computer systems are highly accurate and super fast. You have instant passive warning systems that can detect and prioritize threats in real time so pilots and weapons systems officers are able to be on draw quicker than their enemy well before he knows what is happening until it's too late! The new engines are more powerful and helmet cueing systems track real time threats in order priority and that gives crews a good survival sense so they can conduct their mission. A truly bad ass fighter operated by top pilots. Just ask the fliers who graduated Red Flag over the years and now aggressor fighter combat pilot schools mix it up with new pilots to get them ready for high operational air to air combat and also to operate in high intensity enemy air defense areas.
It’s good as a strike/interceptor multirole Aircraft.
That's a good fighter jet
How quickly would we run out of JDAms In a real war
We can convert our huge stockpile of conventional bombs into JDAMS with a kit
They literally just strapped wings and a computer onto a bomb, holy shit thats busted as fuck.
Laser guided missiles, laser guided bombs and radar guided missiles anyone?
If possible, send some JDAM onto the roof of Myanmar’s Junta leaders.
Majority of US producing aircrafts they are under continues progress in several directing..including F-15E which successfully tested to carry and bombing JADMs with its jps systems usin...👍🦅🇺🇸❤👍
Missile truck of the sky
If the US doesn't buy this plane the are nuts
Deyymmm this is a muscle fighter jet .
Nice

Are you kidding me?
Man, this plane is gonna be as long lived as the B-52.
Perhaps
I was in the USMC air wing in the 90’s and always thought the f15 was the least aesthetically pleasing fighter. Then I learned about it and learned it’s a bad mofo. Still pretty boring to look at compared to the Hornet and the sexy f16. The f35 grew on me. It’s pretty sweet. God I love American might.
Wait if the F-15 can't drop them then why not instead of using 2 C-130s for equipment and personnel, we put the extra jdams on one c-130?
7,500 lb bomb load. "the B-17 could carry up to 8,000 pounds "
Wonderful.. also thinking JDAMs are not suitable for highly contested spaces like Indo Pacific, Black Sea or Japan seas (South China)
The question people are asking about the strike package is the same asked during World War 2. If an F-15E encounters enemy aircraft, SAM missiles or other enemy forces and munitions in the air, will the aircraft drop their weapons payload to engage, evade, and/or directly confront the enemy in adverse situations? My guess is if you are carrying 15 JDAM munitions, you are going to drop them immediately to increase your survivability under a situation where someone is attacking you.
F 15ex aren't for sead mission. It's for intercepting and ground support missions.
The F-15 is gonna be the solution for every thing I swear
Can carry a shit tone of missiles
Can carry a shit ton of bombs
Can CAS (kinda)
Can work like an interceptor because it’s fast as fuck
Am I missing anything?

Nothing new here for the Air Force... They turned the F-4 Phantom into a bomb truck during the Vietnam war.
Too bad they don’t have the fuel to sit around and drop 16 bombs at 16 targets.
RESPECT THE A-10
good evning sir 😍😍😍
can you please talk about bomb fuse that place in the midille of the bomb like the american bomb mk-82
and the bomb fuses in general
how it works ... ???🤔🤔🤔
No. You need to eat bacon.
OK, but no one wants to box. Land acquisitions are not the thing in the 21st century. How does this whole subject work in the trade war?
WATOP is that you
Love the extra firepower but the JDAMs will not be what the f35 will be using the f15 to target. The JDAM range is only 15 miles and so therefore would need to be in non middle defended airspace. They’d need to carry missiles with longer range so the f15 can stay out of range while the f35 or 22 can direct the anti radar or other long range precision weapons into defended air space.
You ever hear of antiradiation missiles?
money printer goes brrrr
Radon net laser missle bombs
🙏
But why cant you drop them from the other racks... i get its a bomb truck, but its LITERALLY a bomb delivery truck to other af's...
this is too op, it's gonna get nerfed
US . Militray . Power 🇺🇸
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Such a badass jet design, lifting body can literally fly with 1 entire wing shot off, (look it up) because of its lifting body shape, why not rack out 15 jdams, could still probably shoot down most shit flying with that load out 14 jdams and 1 aim 9x hahaha
I'm sure its still hella fast at low altitude, then after dumping 15 JDAMS you immediately have an air superiority fighter to deal with, probably have Raptors as top cover to protect them on strike missions, just in case other countries wanna try and jump them with a 6th gen or thrust vectoring fighters. I also seen footage of making the B1B BONE an AMRAAM missile truck, that would be insane, imagine if they upgraded the BONE with 4 Raptor engines, it will have way more thrust and supercruise, increasing range at speed, use Raptor as top cover, and F35s to sneak in and pop all the radars, SAMS, and AAA. Once at the target the F35 could use several B1B, dumping JDAMS, Sparrows, Mavericks, sidewinders, cruise missiles or LASRaaM, hypersonic weapons, or Tactical nukes. The mass missile trucks idea sounds Russian, their plan to rush our Carriers with countless anti ship missiles and torpedoes, from aircraft, subs and surface/sea weapons. Definitely dooms day scenario but, this could give the airforce the firepower to keep huge fleets of fighters AWAY. I'm also glad to here they are adding missiles, to the Posidion Anti submarine aircraft, they are constantly harassed in international waters by Russian and Chinese fighters, I also heard they my shadow a few Posiden with two or more Raptors so if they start aggressive maneuvers like cutting in front of the cockpit 30 feet away, imagine the suprise when before you even get within shutdown range 2 invisible Raptor pull up on either side, playing a message in their language to break off illegal intercept because the Poseidon in in international waters, please change course immediately.
and the f15ex can carry 22 air to air missiles
Bom pistol laser otomatis 😃
That’s a lot of fuck ya !!
I don't know of any aircraft that can reload itself. 👀
They would have loading equipment on the C-130s. Farp=fueling and rearming points are nothing new.
36...
Usaf should need more these plane then F-35A.. F-15EX more capibility more payload ...
ah, United States. The country that would completely obliterate its opponents solely in air campaigns.
Without the Eagle..the world will be bought by paper cash..🗽🗺🛰💟
