- On a casual Tuesday flight around NYC, I decided to make an impromptu landing at LaGuardia Airport KLGA. Come along for the ride!
We started up the hudson with Newark Tower. Took a handoff to LaGuardia tower as we continued up the East River. Over central park, north on the hudson, course reversal at the GW Bridge. Returning south, I asked LaGuardia tower for a full stop landing with taxi back on LaGuardia's Runway 31. Tower obliged my request and cleared me for a left downwind 31. LGA Tower initially cleared me for a Touch & Go rather than a full stop. They remembered that I initially requested full stop and offered it to me. Already prepared for a touch & go I requested to stick with that and they cleared me for the option. Great guys.

That's a cool thing to do - good one Michael. Picked up my Mooney mid October and have about 25 hours on it so far; same year as yours I believe. Really enjoying it. Cheers.
Very cool vid! Cute baby! Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
Do you intend to do more full flight videos with multiple cameras?
Was it easy to get permission to fly into LGA? I fly in CDW in NJ and would love to fly to LaGuardia to do that !
yes, but only cause I was already flying in the area and heard traffic was light and saw an opportunity to ask.
Congratulations on the baby!!!
Nice Mike. Congrats. Keep in mind, neonates cry if their middle ears are obtructed. Sometimes that opens em up. Stay low if in doubt.

Very nice video!! Congratulations on being new parents!! Steven will have a blast in that Mooney!
That is amazingly awesome. You are literally the only person that I have even heard of that has all three of the big NYC airports - EWR, JFK, and LGA - in their logbook in a single-engine piston! I know some JetBlue and Delta pilots that have it but they don't count. You did it in your own plane! The only Bravo airport that I have in mine is MSY. I'm super inspired by your endeavors, though!
Cool, thanks. Have any of the Delta drivers done all the other airports as well? Teterboro, Morristown, Caldwell, Westchester, and Republic? 😆
