I love how coherent and logical you make this! I like your tips for organize your clothes, have you thought about a whole video on how to organize yout closet? I'm working towards a more cohesive wadrobe and your advice is super helpful. My style is way more casual and boho and yet all that you say applies. Also, I'm realizing my biggest gaps are in bags and accesories so I would love more content about them.
The trousers that can be adjusted to shorter length are a great idea. I just hemmed three pairs of trousers today by hand, two silk tailored pairs and one Merino knit, wide-leg pair. I had to take them up four inches, and the knit ones can’t be cut, of course. It took me about six hours with all the pressing, etc. I’m petite and I’m so tired of having to shorten everything! (I wasn’t happy with the results of the machine-stitching done by a tailor on my previous ones in these fabrics, plus he made them way too short, I think he’s new to the inch measurements we still use in the US, I know- it’s horribly archaic).
Love these videos, Diana! So glad I discovered your channel. I think that clothes are like art that you wear, but I have no sense of what works and what doesn't. I just look at what women with better instincts are wearing and copy their ideas. I'm petite and have a curvy figure, 125lbs, 34/26/38. With relatively short legs, wide hips and a narrow waist, finding correct proportions, especially for pants, has always been a challenge for me. Where would you recommend that I look for an elegant pair of tailored, high-waisted classic black trousers? I'm looking for pants that I can pair with tucked-in turtlenecks, a simple belt and ballet flats or pointed loafers. You also seem to be relatively petite, so I'm sure you can point me in the right direction. Please do more videos on petite styling. I loved your video on summer styles for petites and would enjoy a winter version. I live in Canada and our winters are terrible. It's difficult to dress warmly and stylishly without spending a king's ransom. Thank you so much for all of the great advice so far.
greer; I forgot to mention to limit, (very much) prints. They're too memorable, but you do need 2-3. A narrow striped butron down shirt &/or tee is ALWAYS useful & chic.
great jeans!!! luv the buttons,, i used to wear levi 501's but my weight gain with muffinism wasnt good..still trying to lose weight..hopefully by spring,,
@suzizuki gosh I wore my old Levi's few days ago, Diana styling, and 6 people said I looked stunning. Was a great feeling. I cut down on sugars 2 months ago, helped lots (google glucose goddess)
Just discovered your channel. I have always been into fashion and love your style. I am 5'8" 138 lbs and wasn't sure about petite sizes on me. Would they be too short. Love the leather barn jacket. Where is it from. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Very helpful.... Can you help me ? I need to create an outfit for a formal dinner in a 5 start hotel, but long dresses are not allowed. HELP. I am Karina from Argentina I am 53 years old.
I started to take the style quizz because my old body is changing, like you said, but I stopped at the third page because I'm perfectly happy with my wardrobe and style, it's just that I'm having a hard time finding clothes that fit me now. In some brands, my hips are way to big compared to my bust size. In other brands, my waist is too big and in some it's too small compared to my hips. My hips are getting bigger and my bust is shrinking. So my style isn't the problem. My body is. Your quizz doesn't cover that even though you say that's what it's for.
It’s more the feature of your figure and bone structure, for that I have a figure shape portfolio for different body shapes. You can just contact the support and my assistant will send you the style guide for wider hips.
I’m 71, I absolutely know what suits me re colours (I’m a vibrant winter, royal blue, carmine red, emerald green etc). I’m just a bit lost about modern style…..my usual clothes are fit and flare, small patterns etc.
Your body is NOT the problem. The clothes are. Just because manufacturers don’t produce clothes for aging bodies doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with aging bodies!
I loved the styling ideas, but sad to see & read on Petites site that they are still supporting animal abuse with the materials they use - in 2024 there are plenty of cruelty free options. Thanks again for the styling tips, maybe you’d consider balancing your channel with some Eco Friendly/Sustainable Cruelty Free Companies?
I bought clothes from petite studio very disappointed with the poor quality of their clothes, I ordered the jeans she’s wearing, it was a spot missing stitches as well a white shirt that at the fist time I wore it leant under armpits.
Really? I have 8 pieces from Petite Studio and all of the utmost quality. Very good construction and fabric composition as well. Just love this Brands.
How is what I said rude when you corrected her about what she calls outerwear? I said that everyone knows what she means when she said outwear, so how is that rude? I am perplexed
@ericaalvarez9809 soo sorrrry Erica, it was meant for Kimberly. Wrong finger click there 😮 corrected it now and thank you for bringing it to my attention ❤️ I wish, like you, that people can be more appreciative for the work & effort Diana puts into upping our style game 🥳
@ sorry! It can be tricky as to who you are replying to on these comments, I lived in Germany for over 10 years and only recently returned to the US, so I am still “Europeanized” and understand the lifestyle and the different words that many items are called versus what they are referred to in the US

I’m dying to know where did you get the burgundy bag, it’s so stylish, I love it!
@@SimplementeEvelynthank you! It’s Celine old model, but you can find it on vestier or some resellers website pre-loved. They don’t produce it anymore
Thankyou sounds great but I have no.extra money right now. I will say I really love your hair and you have a great idea ❤Love from Canada

The same thing happens to me 🙋🏻♀️
I always say that it's not fair, because I pay for the whole pair of pants and end up wearing half of them 😂
I'm 5’2 and I bought 3 pants from Petite Studio because of your recommendations. they all fit perfectly and the quality is very nice. Thank you!
Love, love, love the blue cardigan. Went to buy it, but the mixed fibers put me off!
Thank you for the great video and advice, of course!
You are so welcome! 💙the cardigan is so soft and warm, if you worry about comfort.
Thank YOU Diana every outfit you choose looks so good all your picks are beautiful ❤🎉"Your the BEST of the BEST "!!!💖💫

Great lesson! Wow 60 plus outfits 😍
Thank you! 🤗
Thank you!
Great video! Help me a Lot. ❤️
Love!! Your skin looks so beautiful! What foundation are you using please?
Thank you! I use Chanel ultra teint velvet, it’s super natural and gives matte finish to your skin, as mine is always a bit shiny

Would you please provide the link for the kitten heels boots? They are so cute!
Where are your black boots from? It’s so hard to find a flatter heel that is elegant.
Thank you. Can not find the size information. Please!
If you could please give the link to your gold earrings ❤
How do you find your personal color palette?

You could just buy seperates. Buy pants and skirts to fit your hips and have the waist taken in.

The correct word is outerwear, not outwear.
Diana is from Europe, that is what coats are called by some, we know what she means

I always feel that when you are slim, looking stylish is a lot easier. When one is 'chunkier', looking stylish requires more effort.
I agree! But being slim doesn’t automatically make you stylish so it’s still your sense and skills that matter.
