Thank you so much. I’m 45 and just discovered pyroluria in a book: Depression Free, Naturally! I have been searching for 20 years. I’m 45 and my daughter 23. I believe we both have it. My daughter is very reactive to treatments, want this to help her so much. We already have a genetic mutation called Loeys-Dietz Syndrome. She has Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, digestive problems, nervous system problems. Subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to your other videos. We don’t tolerate stress or have energy. We don’t have money to work with a provider. Only state insurance which won’t cover this kind of care so I’m always learning all I can. We eat so well but slowly get worse. Waiting for the pyroluria protocol to arrive in mail as described in book. It’s been used extensively with patients at an addiction recovery center who get screened for pyroluria so I hope we can tolerate it. It is more than the 2 main nutrients and we’re already on general supplements. Need to learn more on copper.
Gluten may hurt the gut lining so less nutrients absorb. Hair test shows good minerals/heavy metal levels. Coenzymated B vitamins/Zn/Mg/fish oil/Vit C/lecithin/evening primrose oil/Nature's plus-Source of life multiple/Vit B12 methylcobalamin under the tongue with folate/coenzyme Q10/rhodiola/Vit E/Vit A/Vit D3/sunlight/Vit K2/Krill oil/5000mcg of biotin and more may help people. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye...oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten...is a grass. Nuts not sold in the shell/meat basting/some spices/air/lotions/food with a label/gluten free food and more may have hidden gluten. LDN may help block low amounts of gluten. Orthobiotic probiotic before a meal and HCl and enzymes with meals may help. When I was detoxing Copper I was very smart, but could not detox it forever. God bless

@@inittiela4934 yes, the pyroluria protocol keeps nutrients coming in that allows the body to let go of excess copper. So important. Mental health has improved for both of us.
i have studied this condition as my son has elevated pyrroles. It is related to heavy metals in particular aluminium toxicity and poor methylation (elevated homocysteine levels).
Great video! Thank you for this! Pyrroles are metabolites of Heme degradation, which are supposed to be eliminated via liver/gallbladder/feces. If this pathway is dysfunctional they get excreted via kidneys/Urine, which is why when pyrroles can be detected in the urine one is considered to have Pyroluria (pyrroles in the urine).
@@QUINTUSMAXIMUS Pyroluria is essentially a symptom of oxidative stress in the body. Improving liver and gallbladder function can do a lot to help reduce Pyroluria. Thanks for the video Felix! Any chance you also have Gilbert’s Syndrome or chronic elevated levels of bilirubin? Person with Gilbert’s syndrome here, I keep seeing information supposing a link between GS and Pyroluria. Would love to see a video on Gilbert’s since it’s such a tricky condition to balance nutrients with
Trudy Scott has a lot of great info on this on her website. I’m certain I have it and a carnivore diet is finally getting me in balance after 35 years of struggle. I’ve had insulin resistance, massive estrogen dominance, chronic systemic infections, MCAS, MTHFR, swollen lymph nodes for 30 years… MCAS made me so sensitive to supplements I couldn’t take them and I just get them via red meat and organs, the most nutrient dense foods on the planet, with all of the cofactors they need so I don’t create more imbalances through supplementing. I don’t plan to do it forever, and it may not be for everyone, but I do think it’s about the best way to balance nutrient deficiencies and metabolic-hormonal dysfunction. I do take small extra doses of P5P, zinc, vit c, and glutathione. I’d like to get tested to see how that’s really working, but I’m feeling better all the time and testing is expensive.
With all these metabolic disorders we can have, say pyroluria for example, the recommendation is to start taking zinc and B6, but how long are we supposed to do this for? Forever? Until we feel better? And if we come off them how do we know it won't just come back? It's just so confusing fixing metabolic issues because you can so easily overtime create another metabolic issue through supplementation creating a different imbalance/toxicity somewhere. I don't want to live my life thinking about how to manage supplements and when I need to come off them. You always emphasise that one solution doesn't work for everyone in all the metabolic disorders you mention on your channel, every solution therefore seems so volatile and impermanent. I've nearly gotten to the point where I'll just give up as there's just too much to consider. Also I may be able to fix one metabolic disorder but not realise I have another one, and then later realise I do, try and fix that one, but then reverse all the hard work to fix the first one. It would be nice to have a one solution for all, are you sure there isn't one? And if there isn't one how can we feel confident in any of the protocols we follow in the long term? If not possible what I would ideally like is to have an AI assistant who can monitor all my nutrient deficiency's perfectly and simultaneously create one single supplement which is the perfect solution for the deficiencies/toxicities at the time. That way I am not going to be taking too much B6 long term for example, the AI will automatically adjust the supplement stack to reduce the B6 dosage so I don't have to think about it. That would be far more reliable than having to constantly guess around with what dosage I should be taking and constantly having to think about it. That's the way I feel about it, I'd just like some advice on how to get over this way of thinking really because I find it all too daunting to even start improving my health.
No theres no one solution for all. As you say its complex. Thats why you need to get tested. To see which issue you actually have. I had a gitmain d deficiency so I started taking vitamin d what I didnt know is i had a magnesium deficiency as well and taking vitamin d made that worse which I disnt realise...then one day I took calcium and have a full body spasm convulsion because if you have low mag and take cal the imbalance is too much for the body. Magnesium sorted it out and my water is very high calcium so I have to take magnesium to balance that out ..if I lived somewhere the water didn't have so much calcium I might not need it as much. Unfortunately normal blood tests do not show magnesium deficiency. You need to go to a person who can get proper tests which are insanely expensive...I couldn't afford the test 400 euro. So I just took the magnesium and felt the effect which was amazing. I had heart palpitations and they got better in two days gone. When I stopped taking magnesium they came back. But if you can afford the testing get it done. Who does this I dont know.
I also have it and i think you need it for ever, at least some form of a good combination that is fitting your needs. I read somewhere that people with this condition can in a time frame of 2 weeks get symptoms again if stopping the protocol, not sure if that is true tho.
Stress uses up Zn/B vitamins and progesterone. Hair test to see good mineral levels/heavy metal levels may help and restore low minerals/detox heavy metals.
