Just heard Sam play this in Glasgow KY and it’s one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard

It's a great CD! Thank you Sam Bush for sharing the wonderful John Hartford and for passing his music along!

What a treat to hear Sam play Hartfords tunes
Like he stepped into those two tone shoes of John’s. 👌🏻

Great to hear this too little known Hartford classic again. So nicely performed, but that's what we'd expect from Sam Bush right?

I love to hear these old Martin guitars played through a mic rather than having a pickup installed.

Oh hi! I subscribe to your channel. Yes, undersaddle pickups are just awful. I cannot stand them. Sam is always fantastic.

The song John Hartford recorded that is a companion to Gentle on my Mind but would never ever be recorded by the likes of Glen Campbell or issued on a major label. Yet it speaks far more to the real than a sleeping bag behind a couch.
