Discovering this guy reminds me of stumbling across Stefan Grossman and his tab books in my teens 45 years ago, brings the same level of wanting to forget all that had seemed important up until that moment and simply spend all day trying to play like this. Absolutely magic playing.

Paul Sterner comments notwithstanding, this video is a delight. This gentleman is an educator, historian and a musician. He is teaching a historical background to a music that isn’t even from his country. No objection to the interpretation, there are no attempts that better Doc, but this one gives a credible version. This man can go on entertaining for the rest of his life, inspiring new players, while you Mr. sterner will remain an internet troll hiding behind the anonymity. Post some of your accomplishments to stand for criticism and comments. Oh, that’s right you haven’t any talent to go along with your lack of couth and personality.
