  • If you are having issues with the pellets funneling and not dropping down Weber now has a pellet hopper slide insert that you install to fix that issue. All you need to do is call customer service and they will send one out. I have one coming my way to address my pellet feeding issue.

When you were showing the pellets, I realized that they look just like the ones in our cat litter box.

I do believe the pellets from Weber are made by Lumberjack they leave the bark on the wood. That makes for more ash but makes for flavor.

Your license plate tells me we live close to each other in Canyon County. We just moved to Nampa three months ago and I just bought the EX4 two days ago.

They had software issues at the beginning. I have my fir a few weeks now, and have made 6 cooks on it. From burgers to a pork roast. I haven’t had any issues with it. I love it!! The smoke flavor it puts out is amazing. The bugs are definitely getting worked out. The Weber app has also is also pretty great. It tells you grill temp, and meat probe temp. You can change the target temp. It alerts you to low pellets. It’s great

@@Tops1212 Maybe a year ago but Weber has fixed all of the problems and my gen2 unit has all the upgrades. And, Weber fixed all of the problems for everyone that had/has the gen1 units. They are a first class company.

when doing 400+ degrees it will have som ash "all over" but when below there is not that much ash and hardly any when doing low 'n' slow. some ppl do use a gasket on the lid and on the drawer ;-)

I’m pretty surprise by the amount of dust all over the unit, especially the outside. You’ve owned a lot of other pellet grills - do they make this much ash inside or outside? My Traeger doesn’t make anywhere near this much ash. It would probably take 15-20 cooks to make that much ash.

I figure these were trash and also deceptive adds by the company concerning pellet ash and where it supposedly goes.
