I agree with the folks saying this is Gremlins. I think if it was Pinky and the Brain it would be extremely obvious and use the Pinky and the Brain theme. This has a very cinematic orchestra 80s movie vibe. Definitely putting my money on Gremlins
This is basically a Gremlins remix of the Multiversus theme. The main leitmotif of the song is actually the Multiversus main theme, but this isn't apparent until the Victory theme.
They’re absolutely nailing that “Warner Bros.” feel with the soundtrack. They’re going for their orchestra approach but giving it that punch that hits in all the right notes and places. Very bouncy and energetic, I love it

I agree. I wanted a remix of the main theme from the second movie since it really has an action vibe. I'm honestly tired of just orchestral music in this game. I wish they would put more rock, hip hop, or anything that brings more action into this game. That is why the Power Puff stage was a much needed stage (it finally has a powerful theme with hazards around)
@@just_an_elli I wouldn’t say “most stages.” The Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Game of Thrones, Powerpuff Girls, and Dexters Lab stages all use music from those shows. The reason stages like Titans Tower don’t use the music from the shows is because Warner Bros doesn’t own it. The Teen Titans theme song belongs to Puffy AmiYumi. Another example would be the Space Jam stage which was originally going to use the theme to the original space jam but it doesn’t because they would’ve had to get the rights from the Quad City DJs. All that being said, I’m pretty sure WB owns the theme to Pinky and the Brain. Not sure if they own the theme to Gremlins, that might belong to its original composer, but I still think it’d be worth licensing the music for use in the game seeing as it’s very iconic.

Hmmm... this is definitely an interesting theme. It's weird if it was the theme for an Acme Labs stage. It'd be cool if they shrunk you down and you fight near Pinky and Brain's cage in the office room. But I feel like they would've obviously used the Pinky and the Brain theme in here, it's not like they don't have the rights to it. But I guess it's like with the Warner Bros. Lot theme, where they don't explicitly use the classic Looney Tunes themes nor the Animaniacs theme for it, so they just wanted to create something original for Acme Labs too. I'm also seeing people say it could be for a Gremlins stage. That'd be cool too, like a Kingston Falls or most likely a Clamp Center stage. The only thing though, Gremlins also has a very recognizable theme, the Gremlin Rag, which they also could've used since it's so iconic, but that one I can see MAYBE there's some problems getting the rights to it, so they just decided to do something original that captures the manic of a bunch of gremlins running around (which works well for it too).

I love the orchestral music for this game, except for the menu themes and Wistful Wishes (Trophy's E.D.G.E.), those definitely could be updated, especially Wistful Wishes, like that's WAY too soothing to be in a fighting game. But THIS song is not at all "calming and soothing". I mean, I think it's just that you're not a fan of orchestral music, that's why. For me, this is really cool, even if I don't know for what stage or context it'd play in the game. It's very chaotic, unhinged and doesn't follow a simple melodic structure. You can even hear the MultiVersus theme in certain parts, but a very manic and whimsical version of it. The only calming part of it is the Idle theme, but every stage theme has one, and it only plays when characters are standing still anyway. And also, I love the other orchestral stage themes too. If you don't, that's fine. But at least give a better than they're too "calming and soothing".

Then Steven Universe actually uses its theme song. On the other hand, the music from the Wonder Woman, Space Jam, Adventure Time, and Scooby Doo felt a bit too dull for my taste. I feel they could have done much more with them, especially since I can barely hear the music while fighting. They could have leaned more with classic rock for Scooby Doo (in reference to the classic show) to add more substance as an example. Another example of good music for a fighting game is Nick All Star Brawl. I prefer Multiversus to NASB, but the only thing I prefer over there is the music. There needs to be a balance between orchestral and whimsical themes to more fast-paced and louder songs. That's how you make the stages more iconic imo. Everyone should have their opinions, so that's what I think

Personally I still think Scooby's Spooky Mansion still fits with the aesthetic of the stage, but definitely could've been a different style of music better fit for fighting. Same with Adventure Time's Tree House theme, but it still uses the opening and credits theme, so I think it sounds good still. Wonder Woman though? You mean Trophy's E.D.G.E? Not hearing ANY of the the themes from Gremlins here personally. Also don't hear obvious Pinky and the Brain bits/their theme song, so I think this might be something else. I could see it being the Cat Concerto stage's theme, the piano and overall orchestral themes are present here in a chase-y way similar to classic Tom and Jerry music. If this is a part of a Gremlins stage, I could MAYBE see this being based on where it's believed the battle stage is set, the movie theater from the movie. In the movie, they're watching Snow White, specifically the 7 Dwarfs scene (Hi-Ho) so it's possible this is somewhat based on that without Disney breaking down their necks. I doubt they would ONLY base it on that and add nothing from the iconic Gremlins theme, but that's the only thing that sounds plausible and makes the Gremlins idea work for me.

I'm so sad this theme is so boring... There is only 5 seconds of gremlins leitmotif here and it's only the MVS theme and... It's not even good like the Teen Titans Theme

I heard datamines of a stage called 'Midnight Showing' which could mean the stage is the scene of all the Gremlins at the movie theatre

Overall, in terms of music, I still like MultiVersus more than NASB.
