I absolutely love to listen to this man, because he does NOT debate. When asked about Hitler and Stalin, he does not try to convince anyone that they (or at least Hiter) were religious. He simply tells the absolute truth, to the very best of his ability. Dawkins is really, an advocate for truth, even more than for for atheism.
Can someone tell me who he was referring to in he video--the girl who did a monologue about her coming out experience? The audio isn't that clear and my hearing isn't that great. Thanks!
There's a logic to the sun thing with his omission of prayer. I think my all time personal favourite though was his abortion rant. The menstruation argument was inspired!
I am curious if the theory about the preponderance of religion in the US is something that has been more seriously studied or whether it is just a hypothesis. I came up with this notion myself a little while ago: watch?v=Rg6tLopi5Qw
Very very interesting thoughts that the blond guy in the end of the clip came up with! In SWEDEN (85%atheist) you just can't get pushed out of socity no matter what! So you don't have to fear getting sick, loosing you job and so forth because if you do you get money from all the other people to HELP you! And i for once LIKE to give a extra bit of tax because i know that those money help sick people and people that have lost their jobs.
A credible witness to what? to finding God? to all his discoveries excluding God? I'm pretty sure when he did discover something the first thing he did was show someone, be it at a patent office or whatever
