Greetings from Yorkshire, UK. Such an informative and inspiring post. What a beautiful vegetable and fruit garden. Its good to see how some plants grow in warmer climates and what I'm going to how to do in the greenhouse, here in the cold North of E ngland. Thank you.
Learned a lot from your videos. I binge watched almost all Aanandaa Farm videos :). I am starting a similar journey and trying to convert my 2 Acre mango farm to a food garden.
Really amazing..I was so happy when one tomatoe came in my window plant..I can imagine yr happiness level..keep posting videos..u r an inspiration to us.
I think you have similar weather to Austin, Texas, because we have many of the same things growing and the lifecycles of our plants seem to be on the same schedule.
Hello, thank you for sharing your experiences... very motivating. Do you have a lot of snails on the farm. Do they tend to be overly destructive (eating leaved vegetables or young shoots/saplings)? Any natural mechanisms to control them?
We live in a drought prone region. We have put up drips everywhere in our 1 yr old farm. If we plant bananas and papayas in circles then would it be required to water them in their roots daily through drips or the ditch is to be filled with water?
Superb Manisha . As always your views as very simple and so insightful . I’ve a question on pruning of fruit trees. What most farmer so it they prune the plants especially mango and don’t let them grow beyond 7 to 8 feet’s but grows them broader to increase branches . Have you seen any increase in productivity by dwarfing the fruit tree ?
We do not dwarf our trees. But we do trim the mangoes to let the sun in, allow for air circulation and cut criss crossing branches. That always helps in increasing the productivity.
Mam just wondering how you irrigate all this crops??? I no where see any drips to supply water to the crops...Would like to know how you watering all these crops
How can having your own healthy food be too much trouble? We share it with our family and friends too. We also sell our produce at our weekly Intro to Permaculture Sessions. Visit www.aanandaa.com for more!
@@farmaanandaa * pls read trouble as 'for'. Typo error. U guys r gr8 inspiration. I'm serious thinking about agriculture. But ours is cloggy soil. Need an expert opinion. I'm based in Kerala. Thank you for your reply.
We sell produce, do agroforestry and conduct weekly workshops! With permaculture, inputs costs keep reducing since we don't spend on expensive chemicals. etc
Thank You Aananda and team for this amazing video...I enjoy your videos very much. Thanks once again.
Glad you like them!

it is better to prune the fruit trees from the day one they planted.it helps us to control the size and increases the yield.
Very nice.

May I know how to make pappaya circles. ( Your farm is real inspiration for me to maximise use of the tiny spaces around my home.)

We don't have snails, but the best way to keep them in check is to have ducks. Try to introduce some ducks on your property.

Apart from the left over leaves. Do you use any other methods to provide nutrition to the soil?
Also, how does watering work in such a huge space?
@zeena lewis thanks for replying! Have you been to their farm? Or is this information from older videos?
Yes, cow manure and jeevamrut.

600-800 mm average annual precipitation
