POLO IN THE VIDEO: waddaplayagolf...
I took the Way of the Playa to the Panorama golf course. i'm not even sure if I have broken 80 on this course. It's long. it's soaking wet and I am only hitting a wood when I have to carry water.
I told Mo to open the floodgates and show us a smoke show of birds anddrop all the BS and give us a low score on a tough course. He didn't disappoint

Just chillin with Mo. One of my final rounds in Chiang Mai
I love this course, but I hate this course. I will play it many more times to get the hang of it.
This course is not recommended for your average 15 handicap or higher!
Bring 2 dozen balls!
One more in this 2 part video coming, then we hit Blue Mash in Maryland for the first Americano Golf vlog!
It's a big course but you managed your game pretty well there.
Can't wait to see how you did at Blue Mash, one of my favorite local courses.
Positive thought has helped me make driver my favourite tee club in the bag. It's got the biggest face, the biggest head, identical lie for every shot. Whenever I'm over the ball everything is an affirmative thought, there's never an avoidant though, no 'don'ts' always DO.
That is the way of the playa. I didn’t realize that my driver had lost a weight in the bottom that dropped the driver swing weight well below what I’m supposed to use. I only find that out a while after this round
Love that
“We don’t play the music faster to get to the end of the song sooner”. Golden wisdom from the Master. So nice to see you going around with a peaceful optimistic attitude you bring to every shot.
Waddawisdom
I can't wait to see your upcoming U.S. videos. Also in regards to "easy," it will vary a lot by your courses. In my view from seeing your courses in SE-Asia, you seem to be more open on many holes with decent rough allowing you to recover shots.
Many courses, especially older courses in the NE are wooded and narrow. So off line shots might be a lost ball in the woods, or behind so many trees you have to use a shot to punch it sideways back into play.
Then you have open parkland courses the challenge is more of the hazards such as water or san traps like what you deal with often on your courses, and then the slopes. I know in the NE to upper Midwest you have many courses where they will have a lot of fescue which makes it fun and challenging. Especially when they throw some fescue or very thick grass around bunkers and off the green.
That said, during your trip out west is a different style of golf compared to the Midwest and NE. A lot more elevation, obviously elements off the ocean, and then hitting out of harder surfaces when you are in the rocks and cacti.
If I had to pick the "easiest" golf region, it would likely be FL. It's a very flat state, mostly filled with water and ponds where you can smartly play around that, being a huge resort state you'll have many courses with wide fairways.
Yes sir indeed Would like to visit the NE when the weather is above 45-50° though.
I got outta there after 6 days to the grand weather of AZ
@@GolfSidekick Weren't you in VA? That is technically the mid-Atlantic states and much warmer than the true NE. New England is like 20 degrees (F) this time of year with the ground being frozen. lol
i really like the live talking to us rather than voice overs! as always thanks for the amazing content. Playa out!
Yes sir after america, it will be me talking to you only or total silence. I finally found out how to do it. After four years
@@GolfSidekick I bet it helps a lot because your a social butterfly. I’m the same way, it helps me play better for sure.
Can’t wait for you to come back to the states. Would love to play a round or two and host you!
When I have a hard day and my mood is down I just turn on one of your videos and it always works! Thanx, dude! You're doing a great job (even for someone like me here in Moscow with -18 celsius outside)!
Thanks baus. That’s cold! That’s beyond belief cold!!!
I don't think I can live there without 7layers of clothes 🤣🤣🤣
Great work on this video. Love the shot tracer, but also seeing the overhead view of the hole with the tracer on it as well is next level. Hats off Golf Sidekick
I’ve been starved for the golf sidekick content! Ready to watch some golf and that golden beautiful swing. Moezilla of course. And matt for comedy.
Will be the American courses next then will focus on better content in Thailand thereafter. Much fwer things on my plate this year I hope as I try simplify and hopefully some things stabilize with the rona and the lockdowns etc. Last year super stressful and full of slaps in the face out of nowhere and kicks when you're down so let's hope!
Okay playas notice @ 7:25 the beautiful chop/punch shot from that heather grass. Well done Baus this is the shot we need to practice for recoveries on the course.
Well yes but not in that style. THat was me nearly taking my bollocks off with the top of the shaft. LOL
That 2 iron never fails you! Very nice par save on 3!
WOTP saved my game after I got drivitis (I could always drive, then one day, I simply could not)
Now I'm getting lessons to bring the driver back into my game.
Gracias Matt!
That’s the only way to be
@@GolfSidekick I went down to 4 Iron off the tee, and guess what I ended up with in my bag. Srixon 2 iron. Yea baby.
Matt!!
Gotta love how you throw the music in last second sometimes for a big birdie putt. Making us think it’s not gunna hole, lovely surprise.
I've been looking forward to a Golf Sidekick fix.
The music analogy was bloody spot on
You are bloody spot on
Welcome back! It's about darned time; missed your presentations.
I missed you
more Mo Slo-mos please. I'm trying to study his transition... Good to have you back bruh.
Message him on Instagram. He will explain to you I am sure
Was just watching the scramble video yesterday wondering when you'd be back. Welcome playa!
We're making a comeback baby
Just bought me and my dad some feather divot tools!!!! OH YEAH!!! Let's go. Planting feathers.
You have great taste
@@GolfSidekick thank you sir. Gonna be awesome, hoping to join two spark golf leagues this year, and show these feathers to other friends.
My favorite videos are with Mo or Steve they are for sure your zen partners from my observation. Awesome work Playaz

Shot a record best +10 today and the easy tips you give like triple 6 and not being a hero really helps!
No hero shots after bad shots! No hero shots EVER!
I miss Last Boy Down ‘Time to Live’ at the end of your vids, with some pearls of wisdom. Absolute track.
COming back in 2022 - overhaul coming
What song that is to listen to in the clubhouse when you’ve just hit 110…everything just seems better
Mo’s shot directly after getting out of the rough was a perfect example of most of my shots. Short and right. Is that a result of an over the top?
Not so much over the top but a flip action and open face.
or chunking the ball
Not enough time in the gym😎🤣
The rough opens the face, which results mostly in "push".
Mo is just not very strong. He need to hit the forearm curls harder
Love the channel, thank you for all the advice. Drivers looks epic too!!
You are epic
Matt, living in the NE USA I've always watched your videos thinking the Thai courses would be easier minus that nasty cow grass. Since your trip did you find the Virginia courses more or less difficult? Can't wait until those vlogs drop.
lol i was being facetious brother. Those courses in the east look intense
@@GolfSidekick Try playing on a Robert Trent Jones course
@@GolfSidekick If you are looking for hard courses in the US, stay away from the high dollar resort style places and look into the rural municipal courses. They will kick your butt bro.
Beautiful golf - keep playing with mo and take him to the us next time!
I will
OMG! The playa is back! It's like I finally have golf drugs running through my veins!!!!!
The opioid crisis is real
On the 5th when Mo missed low, I knew you were going to miss high because I thought the very same thing! Damn flat ground! Lol
That grain on the bermuda fucks with your head
Plugged my first drive today 330yd..
Mo style birdie
Birdies missing approach below the hole/smart approach = Matt style
Gotta say this style of golf is Hella fun just gotta rock the gear now.
You have been eating steroids for brekkie
Welcome back Playa.
Thank you boyfriend
I have always found that the NE greens are so much smaller than other courses, I know you were kidding around but if you do make it here, play some courses in connecticut, none of the big name ones, find a small local course and let me tell you, it will HURT to play them lol. As always, another great video!!
I was there playa. Too cold by the time I arrived in the NE. I hope to make it back to play more there cos those courses are my jam. I grew up on a tight course. But I need temperatures above 70 to function as a human
Try Rio Pinar or Dubsdread, both courses in Orlando FL.
When you get to the West Coast of the USA, you've got to do Chambers Bay in Washington - they redid the greens since the 2015 US Open and they're great now. Note: the elevation changes on the course are brutal. Then drop down to Oregon and hit Bandon Dunes. Best months to hit this area are in May, June.
I will in warmer months. I was in the US 1 Nov to 5 Jan - too cold above AZ LOLLLL
Looking good Chief Rocka, bufftastic in fact, haven’t watched in a while, have you been pumping iron?!😉
I think it's the way the light catches my curves
the man is back!!
HE IS BACK!!!
2022 will be the year of resurrection after the horse scheisse two years I have had.
I chuckle every time Mo makes the celebration fist bump awkward by bringing something else. 🤣
He's good value waddaman
The scissoring had me rolling!!!!!
Scissor sistahs
Lmao was about to pull up my big - karen energy pants saying the North-East courses aren't that easy then luckily read the comments.
Love the vids playa
Matt! Bro! When you coming to New Zealand man? I grew up in Joburg and living here now. Check out Gulf Harbour Golf Course. If you come here let me know, would be great to buy you a round and beer!
lol think that one may take a while

Come play Whistling Straights in WI, I want to see how you fare there.
in summer
Hey Dude (Matt), you are wearing the same green golf shirt that I wear! What are the chances of that, crazy coincidence. 😃
You have fine taste sir
I welcome you to some golf in NC, my friend. I don't know if the greens will be as nice to u in US as you think. As a 3 year viewer though, I am highly interested in your vlogs around the US, and maybe if I can keep my content coming, I will have a chance to play with you one day!
Best Wishes, Andrew.
One day playa!
Mo is a beast!
Don't short sell yoursef. You are too
Nice video. Do the lovely caddies ride or walk ??
Caddies ride we walk

Did you and Mo really just Scissor on hole 4 after the birdie! Amazing😅

Love the Videos! Been watching you from Orlando! When are you going to do a Florida/East-Coast tour?
Also, any chance you can do a "what's in my bag" video so we can see what you are playing with for 2022?
Also, any thoughts on making an audio app for all the Playas out there......I hear your music tag every time I putt for birdie.......and sadly, there are days the tubas follow me...
Keep up the great work! We all TRULY APPRECIATE YOU!
I will do a WITB after I get some new irons made up and see how I do with the new putter
Maybe in March
I will do another USA tour when I can enter the USA again

What is that saxophone music you play. I love that stuff

curious what your opinions are on strokes gained analytics and the modern way of viewing your "misses" vs How you play casually now, and if you have evolved your course management because of it
I think course management for me now is to focus on positioning off the tee.
That's the big difference when I play with someone who shoots 72-74 while I am piecing together a 79
They are always in good positions off the tee - or positions where they are not screwed.
Next is my putting. i don't practice and haven't for 2 years. I need to get into practicing that again.
Strokes gained I have no real time for. I mean for me it's obvious my driver needs work - need to hit more balls to be comfy with a relaxed swing instead of compesnating for my lack of practice by swinging it hard. It doesn't take much analysis to realize that my driver is out of position off the tee often. Can I learn to his a 275 yard drive straight instead of bashing for a 290 yarder? Takes time.
I need to focus more on where the pin is as well. I am often just shooting at pins now instead of realizing how much space behind the pin I have and how I mustn't leave it short or long on certain holes. Rushing aorund filming and the life I was living in 2021 was not ideal.
Just a whole whirlwind of stuff hit me in 2021 and golf suffered because of all the real life stuff. Golf became just me escaping not focusing much on getting better. Hard times last year but lets hope 2022 is better
@@GolfSidekick I can completely understand your POV and I wont discredit it. I think you have a fair assessment of your game and what you want to get out of it
Mo is a player! I see he likes to give his putts the Kevin Na treatment and walks them in...stud!
You know it's true friendship when you have awkward handshakes lol.
Lots of sexual tension
Gives a different meaning to boyfriends haha.
When is the second part to this vlog coming out playa?!

Damn, that was a depressing hole 4 lol. Looks exactly like something I would do!
It feels illegal to be this early 🤓🤓😎🤓🤓
It is. FBI at your door. Knock KNock
@@GolfSidekick ur content is best content
Hey Playa, have you ever tried one length irons? If you have, what do you think of them for someone trying to become a sub90 player?
Never tried them but I have heard they are actuall tricky and you need to swing them a certain way. I have no clue though. You would have to go hit a few balls with them before making that decision
Never seen anyone so terrified to hit driver
according to your list you didnt play any courses in the north east NA?
I think you should've counted that 150 yard par save from Mo after getting stuck in the deep rough as an up n down
HEEE’SS BAAACCCCKKK!!! 🏌️🔥
Oh shit, looks who back.
Back again...
You bro, “the courses in the USA appear easy, especially in the Northeast.” You should climb to be a plus handicap.
Playa you must respect the courses which have defined the game’s early history. After a few lost balls under the fallen fall leaves, you will be tempted to shave strokes than to honor stroke an distance. I wish you the best in your journey, but let’s see how your prediction holds for courses across the Northeastern USA.
It’s all banter girlfriend
I thought Matt was going to do a backflip at 1:52 LOL
It was far too early for that at 11:30am
Hey I'm new to this awesome channel, what's the backstory to the occasional pink ball?
I like the pink ball - I am comparing to see if the pink Volvik S4 works the same as the white Volvik S4 - my favorite golf balls. I also just like the pink but I can't use it for a whole video otherwise people complain they cant see it
Nice video :)
I hate when people drive up on you especially on the tee box lol
When do we see you expose the avocado cartel? Needs its own dedicated video
I signed an NDA and am going into hiding
I’m curious how the NE treated you? Play any in Maryland?
Blue Mash, PB Dye, Potomac Shores, Fairfax, Trump DC
@@GolfSidekick all great course and you definitely had fun at those playa!
GS why are the courses in the Northeast some of the easiest?
Are you saying this course with water making up 50% of the land space is easy? Lol
Rather than just saying no driver, ever consider looking at hitting the longest club that gives you an acceptable amount of room to miss? Let's say you want to be able to miss 30yds right or left, if you can hit Driver on a line with no OB or penalty area inside that 60 yds hit driver. If not, check 3w and continue back until you have an acceptable landing area.
Yes
The playa knows all
I can't believe it, Mo is human after all! Hole 3 rough looked awful!

10:05 oooh scissorrr!

We sew them on before every round playa
Did you guys just scissor on 4th green?!?!? 😂😂😂😂
Was this round before you left for the US? You were practicing your 'Merican accent...
Before - then I didn't play for 6 weeks then landed in USA and played the day after landing LOL
Hooking the 2 iron .
Tooking the hoo rion
@@GolfSidekick I was surprised tosee , usually you have a great ball flight with the 2 . It looked like you had taking some speed off in the swing ....maybe easing into it ?
Mo’s putter was on fire
A junk shop Ping !!
Why was the Playa about to "lose his sh**" on Hole 9 with Mo's friend, who was playing behind them? 😂
lol the pro has a Junior there creeping up on us every hole standing 30 yards behind us hitting tee shots from the fairway while we were going real for our approach shots. On our tail for two holes. There were maybe five groups on the entire course and the dude who is a pro has to come and run up the rear right on us without saying a thing. The course was empty it’s amazing pros don’t understand what they’re doing is wrong
Faaaark. I only lasted 1 min. All that flexing and stretching at the start was too much!!!
Me too. But I lasted 30 secs
What launch monitor is that you are using playa?
Prgr
Where are you at with lessons from Eric? You must've hit 1,000 balls in 3 days and he absolutely had you on the right path. I would think once you implement the changes he gave you you can use the driver more often. I mean you hit a good 2 iron but the driver will give you more opportunities.
I had to move back to Thailand and can't see Eric in Malaysia. So now I am working on his ideas plus George Gankas but I didn't start the transition and downswing concepts from gankas yet because I was going ot the USA and didn't want to play like trash. I will learn to shallow the club and get to impact positiong this year. We are unable to travel to Malaysia and back to Thailand because of quarantines and the mission of organizing paperwork to do it. SO I can't take lessons with him
@@GolfSidekick Good luck I really liked what you were doing with Eric. If you end up seeing Gangkas in person and want a round drop me a line I'm in the same area.

Being a pro is the toughest form of entrepreneur especially in thailand with very few first world style opportunities

No. Thailand provides a better experience overall. The courses conditions in the usa are far superior. The natural beauty of America is breathtaking. But overall experience from driving up to leaving, thailand is more enjoyable
What is a ‘glamateur’?
