I love Jodi showing older projects. I wish podcasters would do this more often. I love being reminded of the “oldies but goodies”. I like to hear how the yarn has stood up. Do you actually wear item. There should be no pressure for podcasters to feel they must constantly be large amts of new knitting each podcast. A suggestion for content that is uplifting would be reading suggestions, passing on a family favourite recipe, etc. Or Jodis top five movies, books, patterns, podcasts, tv shows etc. Hope this made sense. Thank you for all the both of you do for the knitting community. I know I do not say thanks you enough.😘🥰😍🤩

Jodi, I just have give you a virtual hug for your comments on smoking. I quit 20 years ago and there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about picking up a cigarette again. I loved smoking and right now with the stress of the unknown it would be wonderful. Keep up the good work and know that you are not alone in your struggle.
Yesterday I realized another unsung hero in the essential workers category. And that's the garbage men where would we be if they weren't working. When mine went by yesterday I thanked him wholeheartedly
When I got my picture for my license the last time. I just thought I have no intentions of anybody ever needing to see this I will drive really really careful LOL
YES indeed. I was sitting on my porch spinning yarn yesterday and my garbage man waved at me while I was watching him. I waved back. That was unexpected. Usually they ignore you. I am so fascinated by the mechanical arm that grabs the can. :)

That was very cool of the pizza place. Another group of true heros are the maintenance staff at the hospital. You know they are risking everything for half the pay of doctors and RNs. And none of the glory. Every employee of a hospital these days is working day and night to make this the best it can be.

I had that day today. Over a thousand people died in the UK over the last 48 hours. I am 70 and this is the most surreal thing I have ever known. I am definitely over cooking. My husband and i are in our third week of self isolationI i hate losing my independence but I'm alive. Please stay home people. And be kind to each other. You two are such a breath of air. Thank You and all other key workers.

Customer service is hard during the good times & the bad! Some people are never happy! Thank God for the nice people who make our job enjoyable! There are people that I get excited to see when I know they are coming in! Thank you for all your hard work!
So I know I am late to the party, since I work in a medical clinic I am catching up on the weekend. My days off I always get dressed, make up on, and Chanel perfume on; then I am ready to be creative! But that’s how I need to roll. Thanks for sharing your beautiful souls with everyone!

My strange trip came today with a gray mohair!! I love you guys.
Thank you so much for telling us your grocery store story. My son is in management at at grocery store and the stories he tells upset me so much. I want to become super mom and protect him because he is always looking after his staff and having to put up with such rudeness. He once told me how a customer came in and screamed at him because the cart had a wonky wheel. My son offered him another quarter to get another cart, but the fellow kept yelling. My son said, “he just needed someone to scream at mom, but I really felt sorry for his child who was sitting in the cart watching his Dad behave badly.” I was so proud of my son for thinking of the child rather than how he was being treated. Grocery store workers need to be treated with respect. They are not there to be punching bags.

Hi Ladies. I am a Nurse in a Very Large Hospital here in Qld. Australia... Watching your video about the issue with the Lady and the Recycled Shopping Bags! We are Encouraged to take our own shopping bags, we also don’t have plastic bags supplied anymore in all Shops and Supermarkets here! I know what you are saying about the bags. You have more chance of getting the Corona Virus from the Handles on the Shopping Trolleys and Baskets. We have also had the Plastic Shields put up on the Registers at our Supermarkets and They also supply Wipes as we walk in the door, I use the Wipes on the trolley handle as I’m shopping...Tracie Your Hair looks Great!! I also have issues not going to the Hairdressers !!! We just use more Hair Gel 😂😂..Great Work Ladies 💕💕

Not stuck at home, I work in a medical clinic and we are still open M-F. Sometimes I wish I was at home because I'm never bored, I do lots of crafts. And watching or listening to podcasts is plenty of entertainment.

I have short hair and it’s out of control (the upside is I wear a head covering and mask at work all day so whatever!). 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

I love this podcast. Jodi the struggle is real. I cannot say I haven’t cheated. I wish I could talk to you. I am always good with withdrawals until I am super stressed out. I have a young lab who I walk for miles and thank god for my knitting and the grocery girl podcast.

OMG, the eating at home from scratch and loosing it with your family. I hear ya! lol My husband asked me why I over cooked his over easy eggs three days in a row. I explained I didn't know why the pan and the eggs were not cooperating, but that he would get scrabbled eggs from now on. Then I told him about a Facebook post that was of two women after the CoVid 19 stay at home was over. The one asked the other woman where Bob was. She said he's out in the garden. The other woman said I was just out there and I didn't see him. The wife said, you need to dig a little deeper. LOLOLOL I know, kind of tacky right. But it made me smile and that's what counts. I've been married 38 years and except for going out to dinner meals, and my husband making spaghetti two or three times, I've cooked every meal. I was already tired of cooking. You hang in there Tracy! You are not alone! I've been dreaming of the first place I'm going to eat at when this craps over.
I was a grocery store checker for 8 years and I really do hear what you are saying. So again, Thank you for keeping your store open and doing this unappreciated job.

Thank you for sharing the reality for essential workers like those helping us procure our groceries! We can all choose a KIND way to express ourselves, even in difficult circumstances. (And amen to suggesting people wash their reusable bags!) We are in a time when caution for humans needs to come first.

Once my kids hit high school, EVERYONE had a night to cook, & did their own laundry. My youngest is about to turn 32, & the laundry instructions are still tacked up next to the machine 😄
Oh my goodness!!! I need to go to bed earlier, I get into so much trouble when I'm still up at 4am!!!!! I Love the Weight It 4 shawl so of course I bought the pattern & ordered a Yowza yarn that is gorgeous & called Into The Void. I can't wait to start it!! Weighing yarn is all I use my WW scale for anymore. Life is too short!!! Love your videos. Thanks for all you do!! Knitting in Iowa!!

Thank you so much for being sensitive when telling the story about the lady in the grocery store...A lot of people would have disparaged her or made fun or not understood what she was really upset about. Like you said, we’ve all had freak out moments we later regretted. These are desperate times for a lot of people. You are the best!!

Zoom has been a lifesaver for online lectures! I am a nursing student and without them, I would be so far behind! We have about 80ish people in the lecture and how we do it is everyone puts themselves on mute (little icon In the bottom left corner), and only the person talking unmutes themselves.
And thank you so much for the beginning of this video, where you just talk about being kind to yourselves. I really needed that today. Thank you guys for being real and being so amazing

Great episode l! I’m sure I’m the winner of DL photos. At 16, when I went to take the driving part of the exam- the examinar said “I’ve been working here 30+ years and this is the worst picture I’ve ever seen.” I had a perm, braces and a sun burn with spaghetti strap summer shirt. My green eyes were wild with excitement. I wish I knew where that picture is now. I figure any picture ever since has to be better than that one. But...I do have to say the new ones in black and white where you can’t smile might be competition with my 16year old one!

I know how much it sucks to suddenly be plunged into being housebound, I've been that way for 8 years now (and bedbound for 2) I've been forgotten by all my friends. I never see anyone. Luckily I have my husband otherwise I'd have given up on life by now, so....

At our house there is a rule that if you eat you offer a sincere thank you to the cook. And, everyone cleans up. It works for us.
I love seeing all of your projects. I just received my Row One Shipment today and love the colors this month. I just downloaded the Habitation Throw to use my minis. Love spending my Saturdays catching up on these shows.
Every time my Mam cooks for us, since I can remember, we always say thank you at the end of the meal. I don't know where it started but whatever you liked or didn't like we always says thank you
Do not apologize for another person's disrespectful behavior.. I also work as a clerk in a mixed grocery store and yesterday at work a few of us had to deal with the same things over the availability of product or the washroom or the practicing of the safe distance from each other and also the family affair of having all there instead of one and it goes on so in all thank you all that have to work instead of having to be at home
Project pages take a lot of effort but I, for one, appreciate them very much. The designer takes awesome pics, but the project pages show what it will really look like when I knit it. I've bought some patterns just because all the project pages look great -- so us real life people know we can be happy with our results.
Strange Trip sounds like a song from Woodstock .🙂 Like an acid trip but for the record I dont do drugs. That color is really cool!
