Just picked ours up last weekend and taking it out Sunday for our first trip. So far it tows great and it’s got enough room for two adults and two golden retrievers!
Where did you guys buy yours from?
@@Camp4evernow we got ours from Tom’s Camperland Avondale.
Excited for this one. This was the trailer I decided on months ago and got really excited when you all mentioned you were going to start selling them. I am in Michigan but based solely on the quality of your reviews and the attention and care you put into your business (which is obvious to me from the multiple videos I have seen now on your channel), when I am ready to buy a bit a later this year I will be setting up an appointment with you all and driving the 3,224 mile round trip to purchase this one.
Thanks so much! We really appreciate that! We will look forward to seeing you! In the meantime let us know if you need anything. 😀
Your making a good choice. I know a lot of people that have been very happy with ROA.
This is hands down the best looking off road trailer I've seen so far that is at a reasonable price point. Once I'm ready to move up to a new trailer from my current Scamp, I think ROA and the D13 will be first and likely only stop. So many thoughtful details.
I'm excited to test out the D13. Looks awesome!
Very thorough review once again. Great B roll footage as you are explaining.
Another excellent walkthrough video. Even though this trailer isn't the right one for us (not suitable for full time or cold weather), this video is a good example of why it's worthwhile to watch all of these walkthroughs. There are a lot of design and fit/finish details that are applicable to all trailers. Hopefully, these ideas will all make it into the Roamer1 design. Features like the 50 Amp service, Truma Combi, AC unit install, accumulator tank are definitely best practices for a high quality trailer. Our accumulator tank is 10X the size of the the one in the Dweller. I didn't even know they made compact versions like you showed. It was also the first time I've seen anyone discuss the purpose and value of an accumulator tank in a trailer walkthrough video. If the AC unit could be either DC or able to run easily on a 3000W inverter, that would be a significant upgrade. Other fit/finish and quality items like the plumbing connections, latches, cabinetry, fiberglass shower, and tires/rims should be far more common in the RV industry. People can learn a lot from watching a video like this before they go to an RV dealer lot to look at other products on the market. One item for future videos. Although you talked about the frame construction, you should also take a little time to discuss frame design and suspension details in all of these videos. After all, the main reason you spend extra money on an "off road" trailer is to buy a superior frame design and suspension.
Thanks so much! Very good points that we are thinking about. 😀
Totally agree - take me as an example: I’m not an owner but I’m doing a lot to of research to become one and this kind of videos brings a good approach to understand the composition of an Rv, plus - must say - ROA makes it very easy by sharing not just the product or features but also bringing the closest experience. Great trailer and great video guys!
Definitely would upgrade to a MAXXAIR vent fan in shower.
i like it looks nice hope to be able to buy one someday. and really like the videos that you guys do. keep up the good work.
That light up entry handle sold me.
Hey Shane, I miss you guys. How was Mexico? Hope to see you in May in Flagstaff. Happy Easter and safe travels.
Hey Bubba! Join us on one of the upcoming adventures. Worse case scenario we see you at roamerland?
@@joshkartchner5466 I am headed out west next Monday. Going to OV West. Email me the Adventure details. Thanks Josh.
These look amazing! And the quality 🙌🏻
Grate set up!!! Where in Arizona? Love to see it. I'm in Kingman. Do you make larger trailers? 20' or up to 29'? More beds? Well set up. Thank you for sharing!!!
We are actually in Utah. We have a D15 that sleeps 4 and a even larger one in the works
Cool! I have 29' bumper pull and I like it... I tramp for the IBEW as a equipment operator. I help my lineman out. I just got done with a job in Eloy, Arizona on a solar farm so, I will be signing the books at 396... Vegas and I believe local 57 in Salt Lake. I'll be doing that Monday the 18th. I've been in the local 769 from Gilbert,AZ since 99 till presence. It's always nice to have a nice trailer when you away from home and Family making the big money. Thank you and God Bless you all and Family!!!
@@ROAOffRoad excited to see the larger version! The 15 is a good setup for a family but I do like the Opus 15 front bunk layout. The build quality of the Dwellers seems quite a bit better than the Opus based on the videos I have seen so far
This is a good looking trailer. I like the D15 more because of the bunk.
If boondocking, can you sleep in it without pulling out the slide? I've yet to see any media showing that. Thanks.
Everyone has an off-road rig except for whoever owns that Prius lol !
The D13 looks REALLY well built!
Time to upgrade :)
Excellent
My wife likes this off road trailer.
Not many trailers have king size beds. Pretty cool.
Great looking trailer but I need bunks. I will be looking hard at the D15
If you upgrade to 300+ AMP Lithium, can you run the AC off the Inverter?
Also, nice to see an American built Trailer with a real door and security screen door!!!👌
Yes you could probably run it for a 2-3 hours with a battery bank of 300 ah lithium
Good morning!! What kind of brake system that trailer has?
Great vid. Really eyeing up this trailer at your NV dealership. One concern I have looking at this vid is how high all the outdoor benches are. Seem well suited for a 6 footer but my short wife might really struggle using it. Wonder if I'm better off with an indoor kitchen. Some people may balk at the hookups but I like the idea of having less pipes that can freeze or break.
Which NV dealer? Mesquite?
How many gallons exactly is the cassette toilet hold ,I’m very interested in this camper ,thanks
Do you guys sell a cover for this camper?
Are the solar panels / inverter upgradable?
No talk of r value or where the trailer is insulated . Looking for a trailer that can handle viscountess or Upper Mich winters . Need a tent (pop up) that can handle a dumping of snow over night .
Check out our dweller 15 winter test for some ideas!
will a tacoma be enough truck for this
This thing might be good off-road, but I’d advise not towing with ANY mid-size truck. These guys showing it being towed by smaller trucks, but I just picked one up in my gladiator and it damn near killed me on the highway.
Please expand, I'm in the market for an off road trailer that I can tow with my JT as well.
@@4_lolife The trailer bounces back and forth quite a bit, especially if the road isn’t very smooth. It bounced my JT around all over the place, almost causing a wreck. I ended up trading in the Gladiator for a Ram Rebel diesel and it tows the dweller well.
@@ILL_Equipt I too considered getting a bigger truck but truly like my JT. Thanks for your response.
Haha, what a salesman. It is a nice trailer, but if he was selling it to me I'd have to say stop already.
Think I like the teton better
