I will never understand why professional musicians stare at sheet music during a performance. They know the song, they know their instrument, they probably even know the whole semi-improvised part by heart. Then why alienate yourself from the rest of the band, the audience or the camera by having this paper wall in front of you? It looks like a job to be done rather than a moment of joy.
