im in science class rn and we got assigned to watch this exact video and fill out some questions about it. ur videos are being used in classes! way to go!
Sorry you feel that way....I felt the same as you at one point but I realized that it can be really awesome! Check out the channel "Cody's Lab" for some cool chemistry or "Periodic Table Videos". I'm going to make a lot more chemistry videos in the next few weeks. Let me know if you have any requests.
it would be nice to understand the why not just throw numbers letters and symbols I don't want someone to tell me it's because its on the test I want someone to tell me you can mix this element and this element to make this compound or this reaction or this solution I want someone to explain to me the why.
thank you so much for this video! I'm doing my preliminary high school chem here in Aus, and this video has been so helpful to not only revise electron configuration (which took me a while to get my head around before), but also because I struggled understanding the links between each of the parts of an element 'square'. I was never right top of my science classes, but this vid was the first of yours I've seen- and safe to say ill likely be back! Thank you for helping so many people understand this concept
I think the issue with today's instructors is that they are more verbal vs this person who illustrated the quick and simple way on how to do this in this video. Very well done!
Howe can you have 6 neutrons en 5 protons? Is the proton not the mater part en the neutron the entetie? If there is one there is olway a opersid. How must I fisualice it?
One thing I hate about Sal Khan is he's constantly repeating himself which makes his videos unwatchable to me. You're doing the same thing! You don't need to repeat yourself! If I want to hear something again, I can jump backwards. Stop repeating stuff!
no, the electrons are so small that they are not considered to have any mass (the flow of electrons is electricity and we don't really think of electricity as having mass)
well thats about the 10th vid Ive watched on the periodic table and Im about 10 times worse than when l started watching!!! Im sure the people making them know what they are talking about but they certainly have no idea how to explain it.
Why is it that in your second example, on the second orbital you put 10 electrons instead of 8? You said the second orbital could only hold 8 and when you add up all the elctrons it sums up to 19 not 17. 17 being the number of electrons. Am i dumb?
Thank you I’m studying for a test in since right now that I missed and he put an I in for it so I’m going to have to make it up so I’m studying this is EXACTLY what i needed
You explain everything so well and clear, and easy to write down steps, thank you so much, I have learning disibility and your really a great teacher..I hope you have something on PH balance somewhere too
Thanx a lot you really help me to understand it😀👍 you explain it so well and in a clear way. Thank you so much 😊 I'm totally subscribing for your channel!!!
I’m completely lost in my chemistry class,so was the other one that was in the atomic mass supposed to replace the zero from the ten? To make it eleven? And then subtracting it making it 6 ?
who else came here because teacher didnt explain this well enough :I
btw.. you explain this better. +Rep
Thanks for the compliment!
It never got explained to me! only NOW (after 37 years) I get answers. Thank you so much :)
Markurius me
Markurius I'm 10 and I'm bored
Of course Math and Chemistry are the ones where I suck at.
Me too bro😠😔
me too :(
Me too wahahah
I did once apon a time, u have the power too change it
I learned more from this than in a week of my techer "teaching" me this stuff
happy it helped you!!
No really hey.
Anyone else have a test but to lazy and disorganized to study a other way
Just a heads up... you're going to fail English!
yes

@EDOARDO FRUGIUELE 9 year old army
same lmao
i’ve never seen a male teacher with more neat handwriting
I hate chemistry lol

+BrainSTEM thank you so much for caring enough to respond to me :) haha I subscribed
No problem, thank you for subscribing and watching! Hope you get inspired to learn more about chem!
Yup
Same

I have a D in chemistry.. it's 3rd term and I still don't know this

We have to learn this in sixth grade! Crazy stuff! 💕
I was playing a game in class because the teacher wasn't clear enough and it was boring :P
Thanks for literally saving my life, mate ^-^
OMG MY BRAIN IS ABSOLUTELY EXPLODED!!!! THANK YOU THIS SAVED MY GRADE
ok....ok....yep.....wait....what...no...ok now im lost.......
I have a science test tomorrow and I am already failing my tests please help
I think the issue with today's instructors is that they are more verbal vs this person who illustrated the quick and simple way on how to do this in this video. Very well done!
Hey Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
I am in Year 6 and I can’t believe I know a lot from reading and learning the periodic table! Thanks for the video!
Great video, I got a Chemistry exam soon. Thanks for breaking it down so that i can understand more easily.
Ok, great...thanks for watching!
how’d you do on that chem exam ☠️
Still don’t get it. Why did you have more circles in the 2nd example
Who else came here because they were bored?
Outstanding. Way more clear than anything else I have watched. Thank you!!
Thanks for the very clear explanation :)
you're welcome! thanks for watching!
Who is here from Mr. Valison's class?
Me
IN THE UNITED KINGDOM- THE PROTON NUMBER IS ON THE BOTTOM AND THE MASS NO. ON THE TOP! JUST SO YOU DON'T CONFUSE YOURSELF SUCH AS I
thank you sooooo much ... u r really great
I’m only 11, so in school me no learn this. And this was perfect for me :D
Im watching dis even though Im only 11
Superb... You made it so easy for me to understand. Thank You So Much sir. 🤝🤝🤝
Made a difficult topic, easy to understand. This is simply the best.
cool, thank you!
when you have a final exam tomorrow:
I have a kitchen table where does that fall under?
This his pled me a lot because I forgot every thing that I learned in class
My GOD that was awesome 😎 the way you explained it with ease. Thank You.
I,m a third grader
i know square root, polyhedrons, cuberoot, algebra and trigonometry
Time for science
Science is boring
Its basics for me
Hmm
Howe can you have 6 neutrons en 5 protons?
Is the proton not the mater part en the neutron the entetie?
If there is one there is olway a opersid.
How must I fisualice it?
Thanks man
THANK U SO MUCH!!! This is exactly what I needed!
Big brain
teachers like this deserve the salary of pro athletes. you’re a lifesaver 🙌🏽!!
Learning about the periodic table is so Boron😓
Thxxx for the help btw!
Yee yee
You defined like a lot of questions I had into simpler form 👍🏻💖thnx
i dont get the shell numbers

ayo 🔊🔊 anyone else here 20 minutes before their test? 😹😹🤪😝
no just me? 🧍♀️l o l .
So! The atomic mass is composed of (protons+neutrons)? The atomic # is (protons or electrons)? Can the atomic mass be composed of electrons+neutrons?
no, the electrons are so small that they are not considered to have any mass (the flow of electrons is electricity and we don't really think of electricity as having mass)
well thats about the 10th vid Ive watched on the periodic table and Im about 10 times worse than when l started watching!!! Im sure the people making them know what they are talking about but they certainly have no idea how to explain it.
Thanks! This helped a lot!☺️ I will share this to my classmates!😁
What grade are you in?
very neatly cut very nice

I came here because my teacher gave me 50 pages to read in my book
I want to go more in depth so I can look fancy, anyone know where i can find good sources?
Thank you I’m studying for a test in since right now that I missed and he put an I in for it so I’m going to have to make it up so I’m studying this is EXACTLY what i needed

Im cryinh
So helpful 🙏🏽😭 Thank you !!
Is it just me or is something explained wrong... It was said that for the shell rules only 8 electrons could fit on the 2nd ring and at 6:40 he put 10
Never mind it's just me, sorry
Jeremiah Coromandel yeah he was just counting the electrons he put in the first shell aswell
What!!! I was taught the top number was the mass and was protons and electrons and the bottom was the atomic, protons or neutrons
but weight and units of protons and electron are not correlated how can you substract units of weight That is not right!!! 1:30
when your here in 2021 because your teacher sucks at explaining
Thanks man. I was having a mental breakdown about periodic table
You explain everything so well and clear, and easy to write down steps, thank you so much, I have learning disibility and your really a great teacher..I hope you have something on PH balance somewhere too
This is helpful but I can't help but say your handwriting is perfect lol
thanks!
Thanx a lot you really help me to understand it😀👍 you explain it so well and in a clear way. Thank you so much 😊
I'm totally subscribing for your channel!!!
Awesome, thank you!
Dude, you need to move your camera away from your diagrams, I can't see shit.
Life saver
You last me at shells...😂
God bless you
Your the only person that I actually understood from

Hey
Taught me a lot thanks.
Excellent explanation!
Anyone here cause they don’t understand online classes
Great explanation Sir
thank you!!
thanks alot. I didnt undersyand before but now i do
Thanks the video has helped me to understand the concept
Excellent, thanks for letting me know!

thank you!
Wow it is fascinating and helpful
This is greate
thank you!!
Thanks, helped a lot.
great, thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot
My teacher just don't discuss this with us
I thought each shell can hold 2n^2 electrons. so first is 2, second is 8, thirst is 18, fourth is 32, and so on.
Thank you this helped a lot
I’m completely lost in my chemistry class,so was the other one that was in the atomic mass supposed to replace the zero from the ten? To make it eleven? And then subtracting it making it 6 ?
This video was very helpful. Thank you so much. Best regards Greg
I have F’s only
Do u need this to be a dentist?
Well that helped a lot
The electrons are not supposed to be completely randomly placed on the orbital fields, they usually stick together in pairs quite closely. Not random
ok am I the only one confused my Science teacher told me there are 8 protons and electrons int he uncles am I being Lied to by my teacher w0w XD
Thank you
