    • @michaelferguson_staff-east6949
      @michaelferguson_staff-east6949  4 роки тому +1

      I'm glad you found it helpful. Keep in mind, that most college professors would probably expect students to have had some basic instruction on the periodic table of elements in middle school and high school. Everyone learns at different paces, and what we learned before, doesn't always stick with us for a very long time. Your professor has to design their curriculum around some set of expectations. I'm sure they did not expect to give lecture time to this, and on the plus side, this allows each student to spend as much time as they need either reviewing the material, relearning it, or coming at it for their first time.
      I'm really flattered that they thought to include a link to my video.

I was also a much better student because I was more mature, and because I was a husband and a father; however, I was also working harder to make up for lost time. I was in class with kids that took the prerequisite class 2 weeks ago, and I took it 8 to 10 years ago. Unfortunately for me, this was in early internet days (dial up modem) and long before UA-cam.

    THANK YOU!!! Every other video was going into long winded calculations without giving this basic step and it’s been pretty infuriating!

    This was amazingly helpful! I teach middle school science in a resource setting. Sometimes getting my students to be involved in this kind of lesson isn't the easiest. I will definitely be using this as a resource so that they can fully understand and be engaged! Thanks again!

    Really appreciate you doing this. Just a quick catch when going over lithium you verbalize 7 + 4 when you mean 7-4 when finding the neutrons.

      I'm glad it was helpful. If you are looking for more videos, I would highly recommend ones by Professor Dave Explains. He has a lot of content on many different areas. I like the way he explains the concepts and he has very helpful graphics.
