Let's take a moment to remember Jon. A different era of Game Grumps. He made us laugh, cry, and yell at the screen for not knowing what to do. Let's usher in a new era of Grumps. Danny is a funny guy. At first I was unsure, but the new Grumps have revealed their chemistry and put out some good videos. So, give the new guys a chance, huh? Ross too.

+ Why did you choose Danny as the Sniper and Ross as Medic?
- There were a couple of things to consider when choosing the classes of the two new grumps... In the Jon era, the heavy being Jon and scout being Arin, there was a chemistry. It was easy to imagine the heavy and scout just sitting on a couch, playing video games and being mad at each other, since its sort of a similar relationship in the Meet the Team videos and comics. Fan-created machinimas and stories in general also kinda promote this.
When deciding which class Danny would be, there was a dilemma. He most visually resembled the scout, but you can't have two scouts on-screen talking at each other. It would be weird. Second choice was the sniper. He's tall like danny, has 5-o-clock shadow, but has relatively little "class-chemistry" with the scout. Sniper and scout don't really do anything together in videos or comics. There was also another tiny problem. Danny and Ross share their show Steam Train and Ross is obviously an Aussie like the sniper. So there were 3 candidates for the roles of the new Grumps: Sniper, Medic, and Spy. Spy, since there was good class chemistry between the Sniper and Spy.
Also, Barry is best as Engineer and Suzy should probably be femscout. I have not found any IK-friendly goose models.
Ultimately, I decided that Danny best fit Sniper while Ross most visually resembled Medic. It was a difficult decision to make. And one I probably spent way too much brain-power on. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини

The probability of the prophecy was fulfilled.
These Game Grumps SFM are such a lost art form. I loved discovering these a few years ago, but now it seems no one's making them.. at least we still got these to appreciate.
The music used throughout this video REALLY made the entire video. Fantastic job.

That's Chiptune music for ya! Look at a band called Anamanaguchi, a great chiptune band, and they have a song called Airbrushed in which I swear to god very time you listen to it rainbows blow out your ears.
The them at the end made me tear up...
Jake Howe I learned Jon's theme on piano and played it over a recap of the EgoTron era.
The feels exceeded infinite.
That was wonderful. I especially liked the part where Heavy Jon gave Bushman Danny his blessing for Grumps.
Too bad it didn't really end that way and we're left in the dark on how they treated Jon and such. But, it should probably remain that way so we don't hate either party and take sides.
PsychoticDreams0 Its not in the dark, they are still friends its just that Jon wanted to do his show and had to move to New york making it impossible to do Game Grumps.
They don't want to talk about it because people always bring it up and try and make it a thing when it really isn't, its not like they left on bad terms its just that life got in the way of them doing the show.
Riko Wolfin everyone wan'ts to feel like they're part of the group so they just make conjecture as to what happened, even though they straight up said there was no dissent between the two, it was just a life choice for Jon.

Although Ross is Australian, Sniper fits better with Danny, Its more of the personality that the culture. Ross fits medic because he is a big nerd "*Pokes fun at Ross*"

I remember when I first watched this. I was still reeling a bit from how Jon wasn't a part of the grumps any longer, but this SFM definitely softened the blow for me. Thanks, thatscoutisaspy. For not only making this, but for doing all that it is that you do.

I wish GameGrumps Season 1 had ended like this. And not in a fan-induced passiv-aggressiv awkward silence with surpressed anger and so many questions unanswered.
Most epic use of the JonTron theme ever. Loved it. I would have loved it more if you had kept up the epicness of him floating away into the heavens though. It looked like a more comical version of the end of Crisis Core that still managed to be awesome, but then it got funny. Funny is good, but it threw of my... groove? Or something? Meh, still epic.

I believe jon was there to teach as he said "YOU CAN ACTUALLY HAVE FUN". All the scenes show how Jon has influenced Arin. And other than Jon's real reason, he had nothing more to teach Arin, so he left.
This video made me a bit teary eyed. I haven't been a fan of GG since the beginning, but this made me realize that Jon really was a huge impact on GG. He was part of a wonderful arc (: he may be off in NY, but we have Danny, and that's okay (: maybe he'll come back someday for Guest Grumps :D
The ending with Jon leaving with Jacques to the JonTron music was pretty damn good.

In its own silly way, this is really beautiful. The fun, the wondering, the departure, the new arrivals, and the fun of what's to come of those that left.

First time I saw this was by accident.. I didn't know about Arin, Jon or the game grumps.. It was so well programmed, and it looked like that this video had emotion in it.. Needless to say I instantly fav'ed it.. Many months later, having already watched both new and old game grumps, I came to the conclusion that this video is more like a treasure and therefore its value is immeasurable.. Congratulations to you Sir, who made this video! :-)

I felt game grumps got funnier when Jon left, but now something's missing...
When Jon and Arin had their moments, it was a real burst of funniness and or emotions, opposed to the new, funny parts every couple seconds, but nothing big. Arin and John could scream at each other, all for the sake of comedy, but in the end, the old Game Grumps was different, as in it was more uplifting, while the new one is completely based around comedy, which ironically is what everyone was complaining left with Jon, at least in the first couple months.
game grumps was like a glorious meal. you had some dull moments, some amazing moments (omg amazing not lol amazing), and some Genuinely funny moments. moments where it was funny because something happened, like when knuckles got stuck on that rock and the grumps lost it, these moments were like that one PERFECT bite of steak, or that ice-cream sundae with just the right amount of hot fudge/Actual whipped cream (yes there is a reason for me saying actual whipped cream)/fresh roasted nuts. the new grumps seems to focus on all comedy all the time it's like a bunch of ok cooked steaks stacked on-top of each-other, and an ice-cream sundae with a bunch of nuts from a can thrown on it, some chocolate syrup from a squeeze bottle splattered all over it, and a shit load of cheap ass whipped topping sprayed on top. Sure it's edible, sure it tastes nice, but it's not that beautifully crafted masterpiece that can only come together by using 2 glorious gamers, some bad/weird games, some luck, and some ECH.

I can't even put into words how amazing this video was. you captured the feeling of the show I love the background music you play during the first of it. it reminded me of azumanga daioh and truly emphasized the fun loving nature of John and Aaron. and the music that plays when ever you leaving (wipes tears away) the whole video, simply beautiful
I'll say this right now...You made a great video about the Grumps. And the way you Portrayed Jon basically just shoving the torch into Danny's hands was rather amusing. And the Ross bit I partially saw coming. All in all, keep up the pace.
People shouldn't think of is as Dan replacing Jon. Think of it like, Jon wanted to do something new, something fresh, so he handed the title of Not so Grump to Dan to fulfil his role.
I miss JonTron, At first i was like it's not GG any more but then I gave Dan and ross a chance, and While i still miss him, I enjoy game Grumps

This was such a perfect video. From the facial expressions to the background music, it showed how amazing of a duo Arin and Jon were. I felt that Jon's leave was sudden and didn't provide any closure that it was a mutual parting. This video, although it is fictional, makes me feel content about Jon pursuing his own adventures and doing his own thing.
You sir deserve much more praise and views and hopefully a shout out from the Grumps because this is the video they should have published.

I'm ngl. I didn't even know who Game Grumps were when I watched this as a kid. Now I'm grown up and I've been watching Game Grumps for 5 years and Holy shit. When I first watched this I cried just because of the mood of the video. Now I cry for many... MANY more reasons re-watching it now
you've outdone yourself yet again. not only are you great at animating and visualizing existing scenarios in an interesting and enjoyable way, you are able to create new original scenarios (not simply a game grumps moment) . you are a great animator who puts quality over quantity, a value not seen as much as it should be in youtube. keep animating!

I love this. LOVE. IT. Dat "heartwarming" nostalgia with the chipper music just nails the feels. If I may add some constructive criticism, though. When the door flies open and Jon is leaving, I keep expecting some sort of echoing blast from the impact. And maybe like a "whooshing"/wind (quieter as the camera changes angles) effect while they're watching him float away. That is all. Keep up the great work!

I saw this a while back when the wound was still kinda fresh, and I liked it back then, but now... I super appreciate this animation. It seems like when Jon first left everyone was just kinda mad about that and they weren't really giving Danny and Ross a chance. I feel like you managed to capture the true spirit of the whole occasion, and gave it a very lighthearted feel even though it was kinda sad.
Very glad everyone finally got to do what they wanted most in the end.
