This is what happened to my YD100 that I bought from Southern Customs and he would not refund or replace the motor. Never buy anything from him.
When your friend said I see what's wrong with it, I thought he was going to say, it's out of gas

yep! seems to be a very common problem, going to be using JB weld on both bikes to prevent this.
