Now that you’ve got the basic Black Sabbath songs out of the way it’s definitely time to delve into sabotage. I don’t even know what to say. It’s such a good album. U2 clowns are going to trip on it for sure. I guarantee it. ✌🏻 out! Great review btw.

Ozzy is a big Beatles fan. The thing i found interesting about BS is they are not really that far removed from the zeitgeist of the time. They were a band who started in the late 60s looking for something to set themselves apart. They wanted their different take on what was happening and they ended up inventing heavy metal just how Velvet Underground invented alternative.
    Such a great song.
Btw, look for the clip explaining how Toni Iommi lost his fingers in a factory accident. This had a big part in the Sabbath sound.

One day they were listening to Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio with Vinny Appice of course playing drums. Well Andy said that this Black Sabbath sounded more mature. He mentioned something about Vinny being more of a mature drummer than Bill Ward was and I resented that so that's why I said that today about Vinny being Ronnie James Dio's tag along. This is one of my FAVORITE Black Sabbath songs and because I haven't listened to this song in a while, I LITERALLY GOT CHILLS from Bill Ward's drumming!!! He's just so good and I definitely thought that this song was better produced than the Tool song from Monday. I actually prefer Black Sabbath over Tool, but we're entitled to have our own opinions. YESSSS please do more Black Sabbath songs and I think it'd be cool to look into Black Sabbath's stuff after Ozzy Osbourne and after Bill Ward, just so that we can see if they were still able to maintain that standard without some members! I know they had many members throughout the years and bands tend to lose their sound when a member leaves or a new one joins! But yeah, great reaction video and have a great day Andy and Alex! :)

He did about 9 demo tracks, but needed to get back to Europe to produce next Nazareth album. Not sure if that passes the smell test. I think maybe GnR was too much for him to tame?!? Who knows! Lol. This needs a 17 out of 10. Geezer is the man. Great reaction again. You have done Sabbath, Maiden, Megadeth but you need to do Judas priest. Start with 70s Priest and work up to Painkiller to see how the band evolves. Victim of Changes or Beyond the Realms of death would be a great start. You cannot leave Judas Priest out of the metal discussion and their impact on metal. Tipton and Downing influenced the dual guitar attack so much. And singer Rob Halford. They don't call him "the metal god" for no reason.

I might be wrong but I think maybe Judas Priest also were the first to introduce double kick drumming into Rock / Metal?

Nice job and a killer song...decades of love for this whole album...Trippin in the late 70's ...Headphones with it are so SICK the mixing is sublime and flows over you...But, even though you love it when you hear it but, you need to hear it a thousand times before you know how great it is...:)

Great reaction again guys, I was very lucky to see them in the UK in 1975 on The Sabotage tour. On the album the last part of Symptom of the Universe leads nicely into the next track Megalomania, so maybe a good choice for the next Sabbath reaction. Hole in the Sky was a great opener too.

Sinful how the material outside of Ozzy's stints in the band are overlooked. There's amazing material on every single Sabbath album from every single lineup. Osborne, Dio, Gillan, Hughes, Martin. All great eras in their own right.

My friend had a two door Ford maverick he had 2 home Kenwood speakers (awesome home stereo speakers back in the day) wired in his car and they basically took up the whole back seat. So they were like a foot and a half behind us. We would roll up to the school parking lot blasting this song. The smoke and music erupting out of the car. Good times.
