Hey can you explain a bit more? Didn't quite understand your issue. I did all my testing in performance while plugged in and battery at 100% and my testing was done for hours...but I didn't see any battery drain. Just explain me a bit more.

Yes I'm sure. Can't remember where I saw it, I think it was printed on the pcb itself. Regardless you can add Gen 4 SSD as PCIe is backwards and forwards compatible.

Bro the Nitro V is easily better in almost every way. In fact I would never recommend a normal 3050 laptop over 60k. Infact During sales you can get the 6600H + 3050 variant for only 55k.

Bro from where did you buy the rhe laptop? I bought the same laptop from acer store, it's clearly mentioned there 16gb ram is in dual channel but my laptop has single channel Ram. I complained about it. Also in back side it's mentioned above one screw if we open the lid the warranty will be void.
Ignore the warranty void sticker. Nobody cares. Regarding ram config, I got it from Acer eShop and it came with 2x8GB DDR5 5200MT/s ram. But you don't worry DDR5 even in single channel provides more than enough bandwidth for your config! You can now upgrade to 32GB without having to deal with selling old ram!
I don't have any higher than 65W Type-C charger, so sorry. But I have positively charged it with my 65W charger (C to C). Can't confirm on max supported PD.. but it might be 140W.
I dunno why, but looking at the display quality, fan noise, keyboard flex and key travels....I wouldn't still buy it if it was under 60k lol. Acer can't make gaming laptops like Asus and Lenovo. I have LOQ i5-13420H paired with RTX 3050 95W (6 GB). I am very very happy with this beast. I bought it at 70000, I know RTX 3050 at 70k isn't a great deal when Acer is giving 4050. But nah, The screen quality, mux switch, super silent fans, compact size, thermals, and solid build.....it is worthy. To those college students going to buy a good laptop for your daily uses, programming, multi tasking, gaming, video editing, and even content consuming, LOQ is amazing deal. It's not that I'm promoting or any shits...it is my user experience.

That's difficult to comment. It's unpredictable. My last Acer Predator Helios is 5 years old - it developed problems with the display after 4 years - might be display cable stress fracture. But rest still works just fine.

I don't have the laptop with me anymore as I bought it mainly for review. But there is no such thing as "max capacity" for an SSD slot. 2TB is easily supported, I used a 2TB SSD for the review as games take a lot of space.

Performance will depend on what resolution you game at. 4050 is a 1080p card, it cannot perform at 4K. I hope you are talking about gaming at 4K, otherwise it'll be fine.

I have omen which has ryzen 7, rtx 4050, 100% srgb 16.1 inch screen, costing 1.10 lakh. Its definitely better than victus. The main points you should consider is better motherboard, build and hardwares used. Its far better than lenovo loq or acer or asus tuf.
It all depends on you. Make sure to clean the insides of the laptop every 6 months or so. Prevents overheating and any sort of internal failure if you maintain it. Maybe then it'll last 5 years or over

It's not an ordinary Type-C port, it's Thunderbolt 4 port which by default supports power delivery. Now I don't know the max capacity.. it *may* be upto 140W... but I have charged it with a 65W Infinix Type-C charger (for Infinix X1).

@@V16NESH I personally look to future proof the GPU because CPUs last way longer than GPUs. The little Ryzen 5 4600H from 2020 will last 10 yrs and still continue but a 4050 has a lifespan of like 2 years or so... actually it's 6GB VRAM is already a limitation in new games. So personally I would rather buy a 12700H + 4060 or 7735HS + 4060 or Nitro 5 12650H + 3070Ti... all at cheaper prices. Most productivity rendering applications are GPU accelerated now, so the GPU plays a key part. This was my blunt opinion.

Hello Brother, I'm a student of Bca (1st Year) and I wanna purchase a good future proof laptop for me as for now I don't know what I'll be doing in future maybe Video Editing, 3d Modeling, Coding (I don't think so it requires expensive laptop) or maybe Ai related thing. So, I want a all rounder laptop I guess I forgot to mention yeah for good gaming also😅 I wanna play Gta VI at least at 60fps in high quality 1440p (if possible), so which will be a good option Hp Omen (3070Ti Varient) or Acer Predator Helios 16(RTX 4060) I know there's huge price difference but I have seen many videos that 3070Ti is better than RTX4060 and let me know if there's good laptop with 3070ti and 2k display under 1.3 or 1.4 lakh :-)
The Omen is great if you want to factor in Battery life because if you optimize the system the 6800H will give excellent battery life. But for overall performance the Helios' 13700HX 16 core processor crushes the little 6800H and overall 13700HX + 4060 may equal the 6800H + 3070Ti combo at 1440p depending on how CPU bound GTA VI will be. In real work, like video editing the 13700HX + 4060 will outperform the 3070Ti 6800H combo, same applies for 3D (In blender 3070Ti will lead in CUDA and 4060 will lead in Optix). If Nitro V is back to 72k then Nitro V else Victus. But don't go beyond 80k. 80k is hard limit for 4050. Gaming performance is like within 2-3% for both. Check my indepth gaming performance to understand in details. Link in the pinned comment.

Bro saying for the nth time, the 4050 is as fast as a 140W RTX 3060. Check 4:18 - So 3050 or 3050Ti or 6GB 3050 has absolutely no chance against 4050. 4050 is over 60-70% better than a 3050Ti.

The laptop was in max fan mode with the bottom bsck of the laptop lifted up.
use a cooling pad bro. you'll increase the laptop's life by 1-2 yrs. under 1k

Performance will depend on what resolution you game at. 4050 is a 1080p card, it cannot perform at 4K. I hope you are talking about gaming at 4K, otherwise it'll be fine.

If you have I lakh budget go for TUF 4060 or LOQ 4060 or Nitro 5 3070Ti. All 3 blows away the 4050.

I have omen which has ryzen 7, rtx 4050, 100% srgb 16.1 inch screen, costing 1.10 lakh. Its definitely better than victus. The main points you should consider is better motherboard, build and hardwares used. Its far better than lenovo loq or acer or asus tuf.

Normal white backlighting. I don't think there is a 4050 model of Nitro V or any model of Nitro V with RGB keyboard backlight.

Who can say what can last 5 years? I cannot see the future.
It all depends on you. Make sure to clean the insides of the laptop every 6 months or so. Prevents overheating and any sort of internal failure if you maintain it. Maybe then it'll last 5 years or over

It's not an ordinary Type-C port, it's Thunderbolt 4 port which by default supports power delivery. Now I don't know the max capacity.. it *may* be upto 140W... but I have charged it with a 65W Infinix Type-C charger (for Infinix X1).

It's normal for 45% ntsc displays. You can make it slightly cooler using the Intel HD control panel

@@V16NESH I personally look to future proof the GPU because CPUs last way longer than GPUs. The little Ryzen 5 4600H from 2020 will last 10 yrs and still continue but a 4050 has a lifespan of like 2 years or so... actually it's 6GB VRAM is already a limitation in new games.
So personally I would rather buy a 12700H + 4060 or 7735HS + 4060 or Nitro 5 12650H + 3070Ti... all at cheaper prices.
Most productivity rendering applications are GPU accelerated now, so the GPU plays a key part.
This was my blunt opinion.

Hello Brother, I'm a student of Bca (1st Year) and I wanna purchase a good future proof laptop for me as for now I don't know what I'll be doing in future maybe Video Editing, 3d Modeling, Coding (I don't think so it requires expensive laptop) or maybe Ai related thing. So, I want a all rounder laptop I guess I forgot to mention yeah for good gaming also😅 I wanna play Gta VI at least at 60fps in high quality 1440p (if possible), so which will be a good option Hp Omen (3070Ti Varient) or Acer Predator Helios 16(RTX 4060) I know there's huge price difference but I have seen many videos that 3070Ti is better than RTX4060 and let me know if there's good laptop with 3070ti and 2k display under 1.3 or 1.4 lakh :-)
The Omen is great if you want to factor in Battery life because if you optimize the system the 6800H will give excellent battery life.
But for overall performance the Helios' 13700HX 16 core processor crushes the little 6800H and overall 13700HX + 4060 may equal the 6800H + 3070Ti combo at 1440p depending on how CPU bound GTA VI will be.
In real work, like video editing the 13700HX + 4060 will outperform the 3070Ti 6800H combo, same applies for 3D (In blender 3070Ti will lead in CUDA and 4060 will lead in Optix).

Bro saying for the nth time, the 4050 is as fast as a 140W RTX 3060. Check 4:18 - So 3050 or 3050Ti or 6GB 3050 has absolutely no chance against 4050. 4050 is over 60-70% better than a 3050Ti.
