I really wish I understood how to look at something and want to photography and catch exactly what you see on the camera. Also there was a res door behind you about 3ish mins in which could've made a cool photo imo.
Cool to see some of the process and how they come out.
I really enjoyed the conversation about learning and evolving. To many photographers and manufacturers are removing the human element from photography. I’ve ordered a GFX 50s Ii myself. And I can’t wait to use it.
Also - I said what I said. UA-camrs love to hate on the 50s II’s contrast AF, but it’s totally fine. Obviously not up to the level of a modern FF mirrorless, and not capable of tracking fast stuff, but for street, portraits, slower stuff at weddings, etc it’s perfectly capable.
Most people love to complain and check what the gear lacks. To those that don’t, and still create amazing work despite the gear’s limitation, they are the true creatives.
I love "slow" photography, I always use full manual settings, shutter, aperture, ISO and focusing, it is a great pleasure and fun way to do photography.
Glad you enjoyed the gear Chris 👌
Met you today at Auckland Camera Centre today. Love your videos, keek them coming.
Ha so you saw me buy the GFX I lusted over in this video! Classic.
Thanks mate
Love that preset…….
I always feel that Fuji is one big revision away from being incredible.
I feel exactly the same lol but it doesn't seem to come. I hope it does
I want that V. I was an idiot for not picking one up years ago.
Hasselnlad XPan? The camera you talked about
That’s the one
Must be a great city to live in but appears challenging in terms of getting interesting stuff to photograph.
I think I'm just not very good at it haha. Also the light was super flat. It's much more interesting city when it's sunny
On top of boring light and perhaps not the most interesting loop, it was Good Friday and the city was functionally dead aside from the Jesus parade. Also I am a bad street photographer.
Trying to do street photography in Auckland is an extreme challenge to say the very least.
@@timshields8720 it’s great if you love shooting meth’d up prostitutes 👍
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer sorry I didn’t mean it that way, I was actually thinking “If only Chris is able to do this video in Tokyo, New York, Jakarta or Kathmandu….” Since I watch and trust all your camera/lens reviews I just wished you had the best location. 😇
3:15 haha thats from the movie Hall Pass bro.. maybe it was in friends too idk
Shooting Auckland streets on a grey day be like ...
Auckland and non ending cones and road works
I feel like nobody's talking about how terrible the IbIS on the fuji Xh2s is, I recently got that camera and I can't use it because all the videos with it on make me see sick, it's so un natural, I guess it's a little un natural on all cameras, or most, but I don't think it was this bad on my sony A7iii
I didn't think it was that bad. This whole video was used with it. Sonys definitely a bit better but still
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer I might pay more attention to it than most people as a videographer, there's something off about it, that said, cinema cameras don't have ibis, so learning to shoot without ibis would be ideal,
I downloaded the raw files from your video before this, and I honestly don't see an advantage in sharpness on the sony cameras, ofcourse it's not a fair comparison since it's not the same pictures and scenes, but I felt like the fuji files looked really good
I'm sure they're also not trying to be as steady as if they were legit filming something.
Sorry to everyone watching, I don’t speak good
Life’s too short, buy the camera.
Would be great to see some photography of just New Zealand, maybe a day tour around Auckland area or other points of interest? (Probably a good use case for GFX)
Amazing video. X100V is still incredible. They really did a great job with this camera. I look forward to what comes next with the X100 series.
The color rendering of this camera is just so attractive❤.
Beautiful presets! Great stuff
very nice!!
Hey chris, I’m curious about your sling bag. Is that peak design sling 3L v2?
Yeah that's the one mate
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer thanks! Greetings from indonesia 👋🏼
