These are now under $2000 lightly used in the US *with* the 35-70 “kit” zoom. It’s an absolute no brainer. Medium format for less than non-R Sony bodies.
Just found your vid whilst researching the 50sII....and I have to say it was a pleasure to watch. Excellent reveiw and your laidback style is great. India's answer to New York's Hugh Brownstone from 3 Blind Men and an Elephant!!! Looking forward to watching part 2 of this review
Thank you Sir... for your kind words. Really glad you liked the video. Below is the link to the Part II, incase if you haven't watched it already. Cheers... Radha ua-cam.com/video/9F41m2PNXgs/v-deo.html
Fantastic bit of kit. Technical considerations aside, the image rendering from the Fuji Medium Format is truly magical. Good to see prices are slowly becoming more accessible. Prices are still high compared to the West. Fuji need to take a page out of Nikons book if they want to make inoads here. Can't really say the freebies would be a deal maker or breaker for anyone. This would be a great second system to shoot.
I don’t have any problem with Fuji price I paid that much for a Pentax 6/7 over 20 years ago. He was always want a Cadillacs as Chevrolet at a Chevrolet price.
Best video about the 50S II so far, but would have loved to see more time spent on face detection or eye detection compared to an average descent FF or the 100s
A great product indeed looking at the low grain at highest ISO settings and the larger sensor but I would have loved at least a 2.8 aperture in the kit lens and 4k 60fps capabilty. Other than that it looks like a great product. Weather resistance is a welcome addition. 👍
You realize how expensive a f2.8 "kit" zoom lens for Medium Format would be? All the other GF zoom lenses are f4 - except for the 100-200/5.6...and look how much they cost...the 100-200 actually is the cheapest at 1899...
The camera does not have phase detect nor is there a "VAT" in the U.S., though in many states there is a sales tax. Having stated all that, a most excellent video.
There seems to be a lot of confusion out there about these GFX cameras. They're not really designed for video. Video capabilities are just added to them as a bonus, in case you wanna shoot some clips here and there. These cameras are for top image quality for stills, and are not meant for fast paced situations such as action/sports/wildlife etc.. They have slow autofocus but Supreme IQ, they're not supposed to be the do it all best hybrid camera. If you want that then look into a Canon R5, Sony, or NikonZ
Im uppgrading my Nikon F-system with a D850 then I will get a GFX 50Sii or a 100s. Fuck Nikon Z-system.I have old HB 503CW lenses and Mamiya 7ii lenses that can be use with adapters. I'm inte woodland photo and Art.
@@PIXELVIILAGE I have preferred phase detection and 4K video for future use. But it will take 2 years for me to save the money so Maybe Fuji will upgrade the GFX50Sii during this time. This year I will get a used D850. There is a question about upgrading my AF 300mmF2.8 screw drive AF to a used 400mmF2.8 but they are still expensive and I use the 300mm seldom.
You lost me at suggesting this camera is good for weddings, and this camera's AF system works with "great accuracy." You are certainly singular in this opinion of all the reviews I've read and watched. Thumbs down.
I use this camera for weddings. The AF is very accurate. You have never used it so you wouldn’t know. The reviews you watch are comparing this camera to the Sony’s and Canons of this world which are obviously faster. However the AF on the 50Sii is as fast and accurate as the Canon 5dii and 6d I used, it is excellent.
I really appreciated your presentation, very enjoyable video. I purchased one today 06-2023. Thank you.....!!

Make a video on how to protect the lens and camere body from fungus
Check previous videos 😀
Get a dry cabinet. Treat your camera and gear with respect. Use a good strap. Carrying camera without a strap may look stylish but it's stupidity.
Remove moisture from your camera storage environment. So use silicone packs etc in your bags.

NICE CHANNEL TO LEARN ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY 🙌🔥🔥
How good is this for video? Would this be an upgrade from the Sony A7SIII?
Since this do not have high video specs, I will not recommend this for Professional Film making. A7SIII will be better for that 👍

What microphone are you using sounds great

Would also like to see the portrait photo results not just t he eye af box but the hit rate .
VERY HELPFUL THANKS
is it a better option for fashion photography than Eos r5..? looking for your response
R5 is way faster and also shoots 8K video. So if these features are important for you, then go for R5. The GFX has way better image quality.
Sponsored? Truly asking, not criticizing.
Which is best low prices lens for z50
