  • William Shatner returns to the studio and talks to Adam and Jodi Miller about everything from finding love at an old age to the rise of sex in old age homes. Bill gets into his experiences trying VR, visiting a hallowed burial ground in Australia, and working with Jim Brown on ‘T.J. Hooker’. He then tells stories about bombing on stage when he performed standup comedy as Captain Kirk and working with Paul Newman on ‘The Outrage’.
Next, Adam explains to Chris the problem with Uber seats in the “full recline” and shares some examples of insane excuses he’s heard from people. Finally, Chris reports the news. Adam hears about China fining a comedian for a joke seen as mocking the military, China using AI to raise the dead, Beyoncé and Jay-Z buying the most expensive mansion in California, a Dollar Store employee running down a shoplifter, and Adidas going back to selling Yeezy sneakers.

Every Shatner interview seems like it is not long enough. I'd watch 4 hours of him sharing stores and commenting on things. Nearly all of his works are of American production. He is a Canadian that Americans cherish and adore. He's lived in the US for almost his entire career. Still does. Shatner is a wonderful man who's left an indelible mark on Hollywood and North American culture as a whole. My favorite Canadian and an idol of many an American.

He is the kind of person I would love to just sit and talk with for hours, listening to him tell outrageously funny stories, interesting ideas, and philosophical thoughts. He knows his own faults and weaknesses, but he is able to bring humor to the criticism he receives. Plus the man went into space! For real! He’s terrific and I wish I could meet him before I die, but, at age 73, that is not likely. Like Birdie used to say on Fibber McGee and Molly, “Love that man.” ❤😂

Seeing the stars without light obstruction the first time if you had been city raised is like the first time you see the ocean if you weren't brought up near one, especially if you venture beyond sight of land. My father didn't see an ocean until he was twenty-one, and him telling about it is one of my favorite of his stories. Such a magnitude, it is hard to witness without some sense of awe, for most. (Not sure about Adam, though, he seemed a little blase' about the stars during the story.)

Commenting on the very end of the video - when I worked in retail, we had to cut holes in the clothes we were getting rid of not to discourage dumpster divers, but to discourage employees who would "damage out" things they wanted, and then take them back out of the trash. We had to show a manager that the clothes were really ruined before we put them in the trash.

William Shatner has more charisma, charm & humor than 10 of today's young actors!! BTW, that woman went full blown TJ Hooker on that thief!

Can we meet in the middle and come together to agree that William Shatner is now and future tence to be our bench mark for long living. How long will it take before the average aging person is to refer to Shatner as the exception to the rule. Meaning that,Gpd willing, his life going forward is recognized by the masses and multiplied every year past his centennial birthday.
Many people have made it to the age of 100 yrs old, but obviously not many are celebrated by others that it can be a goal to reach this number, because of the example Mr. Shatner has paved as a functional human past the age of 100yr old.
