Theory: that monstrosity was a elder inhabiting the commanders old avatar and utilising residual Psionic residue to mimic his tactical capabilities.
That or it's an alternate universe commander that failed to defeat the elders

That intro gave me chills, man, I love this kinda shit. I also loved the mission objectives. I love how it just started with "Mission Objectives: What are you doing here?" Looking forward to the grand finale!

Ah, Sectopod Prime. The most unexpected enemy. As in, it is undetectable by the Shadow Chamber. Truly a worthy opponent.
I almost felt a little empty when you finished the Chosens off last episode, just because of how much drive and character they add to your series. Very glad to see you've seamlessly moved into a new arc and introduced a straight-up more terrifying antagonist.

Great episode as always, OEM! This series continues to surpass my expectations with every upload.
I didn't expect my debut to equal into me getting into constant danger. Making OEM say No. Getting knocked out once (thankfully). And hitting 18%.

Added some lines of code to stop Holy Warrior from killing the Rulers, Avatars, and Chosen.
Man, I know at its core this was just the Forge Facility, but I love all the little edits to the mission briefing and objectives and stuff to bring it in line with the reality-warping powers of... the Remnant, or whatever created and/or was controlling the Remnant. Gameplay-wise, I'm pretty sure that's based on the Corrupt Avatar, or the Avatar Ruler, I'm guessing? Sorry if questions like these risk "spoiling the magic" but I just love trying to figure out what parts of this are publicly available mods, weird mod interactions, and what parts are you working your own behind-the-scenes magic, whether it be private mods or simply video editing.
And HOLY SWEET JESUS SHIT THAT AT/ST WHAT THE HELL.
-In-game text = localisation file hacking I had a friend do so I'd be blind
-Remnants are the "sleeves" being worn by Damage (known to The Chosen as "The Forgotten", Elders as "The Imperfection") - the thing from the intro that was let out in Unleashed. It's vanilla Avatar with some rebalance mods - the cosmetics are a private blend because they're cribbed from other modders public mods (as XCOM cosmetics). They function basically like when I had an "OEM" unit that I operated, separate from Commander Edward's own unit.
Okay, getting a friend to mess with the in-game text so that you don't know what to expect, considering the plot you're running is *beautiful.*

That one’s a custom job frankensteining pieces of some other mods I’m afraid. Obelix is a kind guy but I’m not sure if the other modders are ok with public release so I stuck with private

@Legion as per the above comment. “I stuck with private”. And to my knowledge I haven’t said I’d be pursuing getting permissions from all the frankenstein components for public (though I could be wrong, happy to accept that possibility if someone receipts me). So no, there aren’t any plans for public release because to my knowledge there never were at origin, nor have been since.
I have no idea what's going on anymore, but I love it.

Well the first time on Avenger Disassemble you asked for a “Marine” - then “USA Tactical Marine”, then wanted a Spartan 4 with Scout Helmet and deep voice. So I kind of mixed them all together. Scout helmet atop “fatigues” made from some Destiny and GoW pieces so you wouldn’t just look like a copy paste of Phil who was also in Halo gear. Minsc’s voice is pretty deep and as in episode the shouting went nicely with the calltag lol.

OverEnglishMan when you do the last mission you will NEED to bring SUPERCLASSES because the last mission is like the chosen raids, but much harder! and you only get one shot I believe, so uh, yeah bring a full party of suped-up soldiers and you might make it some what fair because of all the mods.
I can confirm I didn't use the supers when recording the last mission.
I used something equally ridiculous - which I think actually made it a little too easy. But fuck it, it was epic lol
