If you wanna catch more CSX trains i recommend going from 5am to 12pm. That's when the most freight passes Palmer.

I believe they are taken from a quarry up in Vermont and shipped out via CSX... I could be wrong though!

When’s the best time to go to Palmer?

Daytime is usually pretty quiet except for NECR. The best time for CSX is early morning (usually 4-10) and NECR runs all day on the weekdays. There is also a daily CSX local that arrives in the morning and leaves early afternoon.

I think they come to palmer every weekday... other than that I'm not very knowledgeable of their "schedule"
