If you have plan to Penang for the next trip, you have to try Roti Cane in Jalan Argyl, Roti John in Tanjung Tokong, Mee CRC and also Pasembur in Gurney Drive or Padang Kota Lama. They have a good taste 😊

The next time you come, if you have time, do make it to Bukit Mertajam. It's off the beaten path for tourists, but there you can find a similar old town, an authentic market not yet brushed up for tourism, wonderful food in the town centre around the 1800s Chinese temple (Pek Gong Cheng) area different from the ones on the island, and also a beautiful colonial church called St Anne. Why the need to go to Butterworth ? You can reach the Bus Depot directly from KL
hean loong different bus company stop at different location in penang..I just take few month ago..
True. To make sure you travel from kl to sungai nibong the best way are book online. If you buy ticket from counter, some company only stop at butterworth bus terminal. Some company do stop at penang but they didnt have much trip. For example you were late and the next trip will be 4 to 6 hrs later.
