Hi jason, that soya with brown sugar is what we call “ Taho” in the philippines, the only difference is that, we add tapioca pearls ( sago) in our taho which makes it even more tasty and enjoyable.
HI Jason, nice video, Don;t worry about how to pronounce names of food or about speaking your mind about what you think of our food. To each his own, so enjoy it and have a great time.
Please come to Sarawak next time 🤗 it is ex British Borneo country. You can explore a lot of culture and etnics as well. Oh! One more thing, try exotic food and our famous noodles, Kampua / kolok mee and Laksa Sarawak
Rest assured you're not scammed by the high price of musang king durian as it is highly sought after by durian lovers. FYI, durians are classified in grades and musang king durian is 1 of the higher tier which is why it's so expensive.
Very good glass of tea is the best drink and your noble is look great thank you for sharing your beautiful food nice place for food and lots of other food as well . 28-11-18-:
Hi man, hopefully u can hear me. I m from Bangladesh n live in malaysia.I saw u on the street in front of hotel Ancasa & spa. I passed by next to u n was wondering if It was really u. Today I find this video n now I know my gusse was right. Hahahahaha. Have a safe journey in future.
I’ll be visiting malaysia soon and don’t know where to start exploring from. Hope February is a good month for all the best fruit 😂 Btw where can i find someone to tour guide me for the real good food i eat halal only!
Vegetarian? Good then you MUST try Cempedak fruit, it looks similar to jackfruit (Nangka) from the outside but its flesh tastes totally different, it is so TASTY the Western vegetarians new favorite tropical fruit! Ask them where to get cempedak (pronounced chem-perh-duc). Now Costa Rica also grows cempedak and maintaining its south-east asian name...I was surprised!
Freedom of spank - cempedak however is very hard to find, especially nowadays. I don't know what happened, but I remember eating those a lot when I was a kid. Now, it is very rare to see cempedak in wet market and I live in rural where I can find basically almost fresh local fruits and fish daily. I think unless I grown my own cempedak (or know someone who grows them), need to be lucky to find of them in a market. Maybe markets in K.L are different. Maybe since there are more demand and people are willing to pay more for cempedak, they are more available in K.L than other places. Which is suck for me or anyone who are living in rural area :D
Normally when you have tau foo fah you aren't meant to mix it up like scrambled eggs. You are meant to use the spoon to 'cut' off a piece and eat it. That way you can tell the quality of the tofu that they used. 😎 Ps. Enjoying your videos!
I'm heading to Malaysia in about 3 weeks' time. Only issue is I'm going with my boyfriend who does not eat spicy food AT ALL. What dishes can you recommend for him? Thanks!
Maggi Goreng is not really a Malaysian Original (well, in a way). But its testament to how Malaysia is really a melting pot for food. maggi + Indian/Mamak flavour = Maggi goreng. In fact, I think the original version is really from Mamak restaurant and we (the mamaks, of course) have lots of interpretation of this Maggi Goreng. Thats why i think you could only find it in Mamak restaurant. Enjoy Malaysia, Truly Asia: The Food
A-ir Ma-ta Koo-ching... literally Water Eye Cat... or Cat's Eyes Juice... and coming to think of it you can also say Cat's Tears... if you look at the fresh longan fruit it looks like cats eyes...
Thanks for making Malaysian veg food guide

Durian is well known as an expensive fruit.. the price that you bought is actually a common price for a good and high quality durian.
that seems like a reasonable price for musang king, that type of durian is always expensive even if u get it from the orchard..
Please come to Sarawak next time 🤗 it is ex British Borneo country. You can explore a lot of culture and etnics as well. Oh! One more thing, try exotic food and our famous noodles, Kampua / kolok mee and Laksa Sarawak
I love how original and relentless your food video is. Cliche but still original.
