Voltzy you missed the campfire it let you heal your pokemon and advance the time of day as well also I hear this game might get its own online pvp system

After playing some more, I found the answer. Some Pokemon evolve at their usual levels; however, you have to select them outside of battle to get them to evolve. Other people Pokemon evolve beyond their normal levels. Weedle, in my case, can evolve into Kakuna starting at 9, and then into Beedrill starting at 16. Maybe this was done to make sure you didn't get overpowered by having a fully evolved Pokemon at Lvl 10.

If you mean pre-patched, no one in their right mind would share it because that would just increase the chances of Nintendo noticing the project and closing it down. If you're really having trouble trying to patch, there's no shame in asking for help in the game's discord server.

You can heal your Pokemon by sleeping in bed. There are also campfires which will heal your Pokemon.
