Nice plane- looking good. Music volume is ridiculously loud- almost blew out my speakers. Tone it down please, it doesn't need to be that loud!

Nice plane! I live south of you in Rockland
Do not just replace the wing walk. AvGas vapor finds it way through the Philips screws and dissolves the glue of the wing walk. Put some liquid seal (avgas compatible) on the screws (after you loose them slightly to reach under the screwheads). This fixed the problem on my Mooney. Good luck!

you should go the dynon route for your panel way cheaper install and price then garmin with more compatibility and a simple yet customizable layout

Its pronounced (Standing) Ovation- OVA-SHUN
Easy to pop an Aspen in there and ditch your vacuum system.
The speed brakes probably work on vacuum too, it's quite the upgrade to go electric with the speed brake.
@@TheBarzook this vintage Mooney has Precise Flight electric speed brakes.

Thanks. Do you know the difference between an Ovation, Ovation2 and Ovation3. I can't get the dealers/sales folks to tell me. Thx.
Same plane. The only difference really in the ovation 3 is the 310hp at 2700 RPMs and you can take off with the AC on if you have that option. it comes standard with the Gamin G1000 panel and Garmin GFC-700 digital auto pilot. The Ovation 2 comes with the Garmin 530 and 430. That’s the only difference between the Ovation and the ovation 2. The ovation came with Bendix/King Radio/ GPS

Which do you like better - IFD 540 or GTN750
It’s a very hard decision. The IFD is easier when your flying an approach on how it puts the next fix and distance on the right side of the screen along with the GPS. The 750 does not have that option. So you have to go in and out of screens. Garmins graphics are a little better. It’s really a toss up for me. For the price difference the IFD all day.
Is yours 280 or 310hp? I want to find out if it’s worth it to convert to 310hp. It’s around $5000
No. It’s the 280hp. I didn’t want to upgrade when I got the the governor overhauled. I might in the future. TBO goes down to 1700 with the 310. Goes to 2700 RPMs instead of 2500

I gave up at 2:00; can’t handle the soundtrack.
“Ovay -shun”. NOT “Ovay-zhun”. (Non similar to invasion). Also….the gauges are analog…..not dialogue. Plan $10,000 to replace ALL the engine instrument gauges when any ONE of them fails. They are non-serviceable.
What is it with You Tubers and music. Irritating. Just get on with things.
