Nicole Brett, Jesus cannot be only a prophet. His declarations include claims that He would die and rise again, that no one can come to the Father except through Him, that He and the Father are one, if you have seen Him you have seen the Father, that He was going to go to the Father and then come back for His own people, etc. If those assertions are false, He is no prophet. If those assertions are true, He is no *mere* prophet.

My whole life is starting to make since, I was raised Christian, but I abandoned my beliefs thinking it was fake not real, or I can be better off without it, but I was wrong. Yes I did get some success but it all went downhill, I lost control and I lost hope. As soon as I saw that no matter what there a battle between good and evil, is what made me realize my religion and beliefs are real. God is not my enemy, God just wants the best like a father and a son.

Cwum Yes. The 10 commandments. These commandments can be fulfilled when we love God and love our neighbours as ourselves. Also the most important thing is to accept Jesus sacrifice so that you don’t have to pay the consequences of your sin. When you accept Jesus the Holy Spirit will lead you on how to become a better human who can love God and others.

We don’t normally think of humans as “spiritual” beings, because in most languages, the word for “spiritual” means “non-physical.” However, in the opening pages of Genesis, humans are presented as creatures of the earth and of the heavens. God makes humanity from the dirt, but then he exhales his divine breath to bring the creature to life (Genesis 2:7). God also appoints humanity to rule over all creation as his image (Genesis 1:26-28) and even invites them to share in his eternal life by eating from the tree of life (Genesis 2:16). Imagine a human who has “ingested” God’s own eternal life into their being. We’re talking humanity 2.0 here! But of course, that’s not what happens. Humanity joins in a cosmic rebellion and forfeits their access to eternal life (see Genesis 3), and they become corrupt and violent (Genesis 4, 6, 11). So then, the biblical story doesn’t begin with humanity falling from perfection. Rather, it begins with a lost opportunity, or as the apostle Paul puts it, humanity falls short of the glorious status God purposed for them (Romans 1:23 and 3:23). From this angle, the rest of the biblical story is about God’s raising up a *new human* who will be God’s forever faithful partner in ruling the world. And (surprise!), this plot line is fulfilled in Jesus. This is why the Gospel of Mark portrays Jesus as a “new Adam” at peace with the animals (Mark 1:13). It’s why John has Pontius Pilate announce Jesus saying, “Behold the human!” as he walks out with a bloody robe and crown of thorns (John 19:1-5). Paul the apostle calls Jesus the true “image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4) and “the last Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45), because his death and resurrection established him as “the new humanity” who rules with God over heaven and earth (see Ephesians 1:19-21). In other words, the risen Jesus is a “physical-spiritual being.” He has a real body that can be touched and talked to, but it has also been transformed and exists in a different mode than our bodies. The "new human Jesus" lives in heaven and earth at the same time (see Matthew 28:18-20). And for those who trust in him, he invites us to share in his new humanity through the Spirit that he is breathing upon his people still today (Romans 8:9-11).

He is the true God - the Son of God. 100% God, 100% Man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified, died, and was buried but on the 3rd day He rose again. And 40 days later ascended into heaven. The risen Lord was seen by over 500 witnesses at one time. To this day,... critics have tried in vain to explain away the empty tomb. They cannot!

@@rickv9180 that might be the final test, maybe even the Mark of the Beast. Will you choose God if you would be able to live forever without Him by your own rules or without rules at all? That is a very difficult question - do we believe in God only because we fear death and if something will guarantee us everlasting life we will ultimately abandon Him? Or even harder - would you love and glorify God even if He would not grant you eternal life?

@@nadacolic7775 if that question is to me I mean that first of all we owe God our love (by “owe” I mean we are obliged to it because we are His creation). Take Job’s Story - everything was taken from him (all God’s gifts) and he was left with nothing but sorrow and pain; he wished to die but never he renounced God not cursed Him. He didn’t have hope for being restored, to be happy ever again, yet in all of his misery he remained respectful to God as his Creator and prime being. That’s what I meant- are we ready, like Job, to keep the faith and respect even without the promise of the eternal bliss in the New Life. Even the Apostles asked “how we will be rewarded for following you (Jesus)”.

It makes me skittish when Bible teachers teach esoteric issues and try to build a doctrine from them. I want to know their doctrinal statement, also.

Honestly, when I get to Heaven I’m first going to cry tears of absolute joy in Jesus arms for a week straight. Then I’m going to just lay in a meadow and enjoy the peace of not having to worry about anything. After that - creative mode is at 100% I’m swimming with the dolphins. I know it sounds naive but God knows my heart. I just want to be a kid forever and Heaven allows that because guess what? We accept our Father.

Thank you for the immense dedication you put in these videos. I've learned a lot from them! But I was really bothered on 0:30 when you said that they were invited to eat from the tree of life. Your wording is very vague. Are you referring to Genisis 2:7:
“Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."
Or Genisis 3:6
“When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.”
Or is it some other scripture I'm not aware of?
And the Bible also says that the man was banished from the garden so that he may not eat from the tree of life in Genisis 3:22-23:
“And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.”

Yes, we Christian do believe in living on earth...just not your Watchtower Bible and Tract Soceity earth. Your Jehovah's Witness earth is not biblical. We don't get a second chance to prove ourselves to God while cleaning up the earth after Armageddon. Isaiah and Peter declare that we will be given a "new heaven and new earth" because the "old will pass away", the firmament will melt with fire.
The saved go to be with Jesus in heaven at the 1st resurrection while God pours His wrath upon man on earth during the Great Tribularion that will last 7 years. At Armageddon, Jesus returns ("every eye will see Him"), throws the antichrist and false prophet into the lake of fire, binds Satan in bottomless pit for 1,000 years, reigns on earth for 1,000 years to fulfill promises God made to Israel, releases Satan, defeats him once and for all by throwing him into the lake of fire, the rest of the dead are resurrected and judged, new heavens and new earth for the saved, New Jerusalem comes down from heaven. This is all in the books of Daniel, Revelation, 1 Thessalonians, Isaiah, etc.

I sometimes think it would be easier to just be in heaven with Christ, since the world is full of so much suffering! But, that's why we are here on Earth, to be the good, to be the light, to live our lives in love, and to show people the love of God. To show people that God has a place for us in heaven, full of peace and rest. And to wait, and hope, and love here on Earth. To show people Christ. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been listening to Bible Project for a couple of years, quite intensely that past 14 months. (Saved my sanity during the lockdown.) The concept in this video is still not a comfortable way of thinking for me. BUT it certainly calls to my heart. I’m so grateful for the way Jesus showed us how to become new humans. I love the part of the video that shows Jesus’ transformed body that can live both in heaven and on earth. And that we can know eternal life now. Looking forward to getting my new body! And learning to live in that Venn intersection until then!! Our Papa is soooo good to us kids!!

Anything else is a perversion of the very core of the Gospel. If you misunderstand that God, before His merciful work in Jesus, hated you as He does all evildoers (Psalm 5:5 "The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all who do wrong"; cf. Leviticus 20:23
, Malachi 1:2-3) then you misunderstand the gospel message itself. I encourage you and anyone who questions penal substitutionary atonement to pray over these Scriptures and consider how Tim Mackie is perverting the gospel and deceiving God's people.

You guys theology is wrong here and there are you Catholic? For example their immortal state was perfect before partaking of the fruit while your animation shows them in in a dark state then partaking of the tree and getting immortal eternal bodies towards the beginning of the video. Partaking of the tree in the garden brung death not life. I love what you guys do, I just find errors in them when they come out making me think that you could be making them as if your in a religious box seeing through glasses of their perspective. In the animation, Adam ate a fruit from the Tree of Life, a fruit which would sustain the spirit or life of any who ate of it, AND to overcome the affects of death. I think the dark state you are suggesting is describing how Eve ate a fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad/Evil, a fruit that would grant the knowledge of good (life) AND bad (death) and yet live, at least for a time. In other words, know the effects of life (what it feels like to live, due to living) BUT ALSO the effects of death (dying but not remain dead - although this is not permanent. For it to be permanent, one would have to eat from the TOL again). I hope this clarifies your concern on the animation. :)

The Wages of Sin are Death!!!
Adam was a perfect man without a human father, rather it spiritual God. But he sinned by EATING THE FRUIT AND DISOBEYING GOD and inherited death to us all, his offspring.
God saw that Adam was fooled by Satan and that now we are in a cursed situation. He decided to REMOVE this curse by sending Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ was Another perfect human and he also didn’t have a human father, rather through the womb of Mary his father was spiritual God. However unlike Adam, Jesus did NOT sin and therefore because of that he inherited Eternal Life to us all.
See the difference? Jesus removed three curse of Adam by doing the Opposite!! And since we were subject to death because of sin, now we are subject to Eternal Life. Since Jesus paid the debt of Death for us all!!!! That’s what his Death means.
Then we truly become immortal human beings like God intended for Adam and Eve and also how he granted to Jesus Christ.
You missed a very important detail about God creating Man that elevates us and seperates us from the animals. God breathed into Man the breath of life and Man became a living soul.

No I don’t believe it’s criticism at all, it’s a crucial element to this narrative. I had to listen to this twice to make sure I didn’t miss it. I came to the comments wondering if I was the one only who thought that was an important element. Humans being are not just dirt/ animals.

keeping in mind these are metaphors about spiritual concepts the meaning of which probably cannot be soundly transferred to human language at this time the mention of such a tree in Revelation suggests this was or is an ongoing process (of sorts, that is howsoever we might understand this meaning):
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(Revelation 22:2)
