I totally agree this arc so weird for the "haha tee hee leaf village fun" while a terrorist attack happens at the same time. The pacing of it was so weird but i get that was kinda the point too.
the Akatsuki theme is one of the best themes in all media, i get goosebumps every damn time i hear it. and oh yeah, Shippuden is very dark indeed.

Deidara doesn't get enough acknowledgement on how geeat of a technician he is in this fight and later against a certain Uchiha.
He lost his arm here and was still able to totally outclass and out think Gaara at the same time. I guess that is what experience does to you.
Also, Gaara was so strong here too. He fought an Akatsuki without even transforming. Sure Deidara was holding back, but still its impressive.

Naruto Series has a special place in my heart. I watched it as a kid on a TV years back on Jetix and I finished Shippuden in early 2017. I remember the series being still ongoing and There were still many episodes to finish off the series....This anime is just one of these that you gotta watch in your lifetime. It's not perfect anime by any means but for a kid that started watching it and finished it off as an adult; it's just something I cannot describe. This anime was an amazing and once in a lifetime experience. Whenever I think of naruto I always go back to my childhood on jetix and the amazing cartoons we had the chance to experience. just incredible. I love neruto despite it's flaws. Lovely and nostalgic series for me. ♥

The main thing is to watch the first two arcs, and then after the fillers the pace of the anime will speed up, and the events in general will be more interesting, otherwise now they have filmed 6 chapters of the manga in 8 episodes, then it will be even more burdensome, just like the one piece series now. But the fillers do their job and starting from the 3rd arc the pace will begin to accelerate and become much more fun. In addition, the views of the village of Peska paired with the old graphics are depressing.

Just caught up with all the youtube videos on this. First time seeing naruto/shippuden subbed and honestly its not bad, i kind of like it, aside from the translations its solid.
I still prefer the dubbed though, probably because its what I watched first but theres still some incredibly iconic voices I cant help but hear english even though its japanese. Guy, lee, garra, kakashi, jiraya, and then some. Their english voices are just beautifully perfect, plus the dubbed has cleaner audio on the account its newer.
Can't wait for more, I wanna hear the rest of the cast subbed, especially 2 specific individuals.

I know this is unrelated to the episodes watched here. But I was watching Naruto a few months ago, specifically ep 206, while I was really high on shrooms. And it really fucked me up or a few hours. I started to doubt my own reality. I new I was at home, but I also felt like I was back at my sister's house the day before watching movies. It felt like I was living in both of these moments at the same time. At the time I was pretty stressed, but now I find it funny.
