Revolution True Icon Palette 6/10-it’s really pretty however I used the cream as eyeliner and set really well with powder shadow today and it still transferred onto my eyelid, within about 20 minutes my eye look was ruined. Only used it once so we will see. Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Tint 10/10, they look stunning on the lips and the colors stay on for hours and stain evenly as they fade. LOVE. ABH Brow Freeze Gel 10/10-hold eyebrows beautifully without leaving residue or leaving brows shiny. Milani mascara ‘The Waterproof One’ 2/10, it’s just so messy and then hard to remove, the formula is so wet. Catrice Blush Affair Cream & Powder Palette in 040 Peach Passion- 10/10. This is so beautiful on. Maybelline Lifter Liner 10/10 my new fav lip liner, have 4 shades and they’re all beautiful. Creamy glide and stay put without making my lips look dry. If I put this on under gloss it will stay most of the day. Naturium BHA Liquid Exfoliant- 10/10, love the way my skin looks and my makeup goes on after using this. There are a few more but don’t want to bore everyone 😂
I love the new Laura Geller serum with spf 50. Goes on easy, light coverage that evens out skin tone and doesn’t find my fine lines and lasts 10+ hours.
The Loreal Infallible setting spray....your assessment is spot on (hairspray for your face) except it's a holy grail product for me! After many days of testing, i determined that this setting spray absolutely made my makeup bulletproof. Can't live without it. I do wish it weren't fragranced.
@@JenPhelpsI do use a generous amount. But I'm combo & my makeup tends to break down. If you don't need this level of bulletproof, there are better options that are probably better for your skin as well.
I wish brands would release small versions or sample sized products so we can test them before we waste money on them. Such as the "hairspray". I love the nail color you have on today. Your eyes look beautiful with the CP palette. Giving me Elsa vibes.
I hated the Infallible spray at first too but found that concentrating the spray down centre of my face (oily tZone) then pressing it in with a dry sponge made my makeup last all day. I love using it on the neck so my makeup doesn’t transfer onto the collars of my clothes.
I love your videos! Thank you very much! I've been using Pantene #3 hair spray as a setting spray for over 2 years. It does not contain alcohol. I'm 72 with dry skin, and the Pantene does not dry it out anymore. It dries within 3 seconds and keeps makeup on all day; I've even slept in it, and makeup was still there. I've had no negative reactions to it at all.
Oh wow I must have missed the video where he talked about it, I haven't seen anyone review it other than on TikTok and everyone is raving about it over there...go figure! 😅
Kind of unrelated but after watching your video about one and done eyeshadows, I revisited an older palette in my collection and found a shade I’m obsessed with. I wore it today as a one and done and loved the way it looked.
I recently found Paula's Choice Milky Toner in Marshall's, and it's so nice! I went back the next day and bought 2 more since they were the travel size. Calming and hydrating without being oily.
Someone else said the Loreal setting spray was like hairspray. Also they actually gagged it was so perfumed....took them a second to recover. I agree about needing more pink based foundations!
I'm with you on the cool undertones, Jen! So many foundations claim to have a rosy undertone...but no. My holy grail is Covergirl tru blend matte made in shade L70. Also, it's not completely matte, I'm finding it more satiny. I usually mix in a tiny drop of UD Facebond, that's my perfect match.
Jen you look so gorgeous as always! I already bought the Frosty palette on your rec and I can't wait for it to arrive! Finally a 100% cool toned palette and perfect for winter. OK back to watching.
Regarding foundation, I agree with you completely. My perfect foundation shade is No 7's Calico, and I am constantly trying to match it and find most brands lacking. I just returned home from Italy. I went into a Kiko Milano store and had so much fun. I came home with a number of items, including the lip oil and lip gloss. LOVE THEM!
I enjoyed this so much Jen, thanks so much for putting it together. Colourpop's 'Frosty' collection keeps calling to me! The eyeshadow is my childhood winter in a palette ☃️
Hi Jen, I enjoyed watching this video, I love your eyeshadow look that you created with the Frosty the snowman ☃️ palette it makes your eyes really pop. Love Katherine xoxo
A Frosty collection! ❄️☃️ Super tempting! Your eyeshadow looks really pretty with the glowing blush specially for the upcoming holidays! The new Milani blushes look really pretty as well. I’m a big fan of their eyeshadow palettes, too.
I’m absolutely loving the makeup look, especially the eye look. I strongly prefer cool tones all around and I wouldn’t have thought a glitter shimmer palette would be worth it but that eye look is so beautiful. Colourpop always manages to surprise me. 😂 Really enjoyed the video Jen. We’re still on sleeveless tops and shorts in Texas but no longer an inferno 😂. #SweaterWeather
OK Jen, You convinced me on the color pop snowman collection, I dont have nothing like it, I have never tried the eye mulch, or the lip items. I will be using your code tomorrow for the discount. Now I am going to go watch Part 2 of your eyeshadow declutter video for the 2nd time, I watched part one before I seen this. I have been getting back into makeup this year, so I go to you and Charlotte Holdcroft for reviews and advice. God bless and can't wait for your next video ..😊
I was waiting for a video from you tomorrow, so nice surprise! I wanted to ask if you talked about a concealer a while back that had a glass container and if so, what kind was it? If you recall, I’d appreciate the info. I looked through some of your past videos, but couldn’t find it. Thanks and now I’ll watch this video! Yay! 😊
Jen, Try No7 Illuminate and Lift in Cool Vanilla. I'm a cool also, and most foundations are too yellow for me!! Thanks for your honest opinions!! I just saw where you have tried No7.
Hi 👋 Jen, you look stunning 🩷...the color of your sweater and makeup is perfect for you....looking forward to trying the Milani blushes. ..as always great video, blessings 🙌
I love the look you have on today! The "clean girls" could learn a thing or two from you! I love that new palette from Colourpop. As soon as you showed it, the first thing that popped into my head is January in the northeast! 😄 The bright white of the snow when the sun hits it and reflects off of it, all those whites and icy blues are just shine. So pretty. 💖
I like the ranking of the products. I'm so glad that you did a review of the frosty products. I'm just so in love-I may have to get the palette. Thank you for being here for me !
I really need to try Allie's makeup line. I feel like as a fair/cool toned girl, herself, she knows how to formulate shades that look good on us. The shades you tried on were beautiful!
I really want to try the one size foundation, but i can't pull off any amount of yellow. I'm a fair redhead with cool undertones and very little pigmentation in my skin. If something is yellowish it's super yellow on me.
I just received 2 of their lip products today. Blotted look. Bummed that something called ‘Pink Himalayan’ was straight up brown and I don’t know what the process will be returning it from the U.K. (because I have no one with colouring it would work with to pass it on to 😕)
Thank you Jen, you look stunning with this white blazer, suits you very well ! Moira is a good company ? I wanted to buy a few cream blushes they look perfect on my screen 😊 have a good Sunday ahead 🎉
Hi Jen! I hated the L’Oréal mist and eventually threw it in the garbage. I am a fan of the Morphe! You are such an honest influencer and it is refreshing to have my opinion of a beauty item that I didn’t enjoy reflected in your reviews.😊
I bought the one size foundation and I LOVE IT but the cool tones are completely orange as usual! I even tried adding blue pigment to it and it’s not going well. I’m so sad, it’s such a gorgeous foundation but I look like a total pumpkin face and the neutral shades are way too yellow. No 7 is the ONLY brand that does cool tones right. I’ve been using Shade & Illuminate for years, and of course they discontinued it. I actually like the new serum foundation but they dropped my shade!! Cool beige. Aggggh! No 7 is so underrated!
Do the Frosty collection glosses have a scent? I was so close to buying a couple colors of those Moira blushes. Glad I didn't. And thanks for reviewing the LYS foundation stick that was something else I was looking at. My Haus Labs foundation is nearly empty and I'm looking to try something new. But it has to be fragrance free and light to medium coverage. (I just use less of the Haus Labs to make that work.) Also, I unfortunately still have to wear a mask (I can't even eat raw fruits or vegetables my immune system is so suppressed) so I need something that lasts. I'd love suggestions.
I think All of the Jane Iredale lip gloss colors looked stunning on you even though i personally wouldn't purchase. Milani is my FAV Drugstore brand almost everything is a win in this line! Thanks for vid dear very fun to watch 💜
Hey Jen! Forgive me if I missed it, but have you tried the Colourpop Welcome Foolish Mortals palette? A Disney Haunted Mansion issue, I think it was exclusive to Target, which is where I got mine back in mid-Septwmber. 15 shades, 8 are glitters or shimmers that don't shed, $24., ALL cool tones with a grungy edge. A special favorite of mine is the green-gray matte "Graveyard Stroll" which is beautiful on my dark brown eyes. Lotsa fun! Love the Frosty the Snowman look you're wearing - you look like a fairy princess! Love the video!
Hi Jen ! Your reviews are very helpful since I also have dry skin and a similar skin tone to yours but maybe 1 shade darker ❤ I’m so glad that I’ve recently subscribed to your channel. Have a great weekend ❤
When I used the L’Oréal setting spray it felt like it was burning my skin. Now it is just sitting on table doing nothing lol. Thank you. For this video lots of information.❤❤❤
Jen you are correct about the L’Oréal spray must however I live on my arms or chest when I put bronzer on and does it stay and not get on your clothes but not for my face. Love your channel
I love Colourpop products especially their palettes. I love the large ones and have lots of small ones too. I really like the lip oils and glosses you are showing especially Allie Glines line. Thank you so much Jen for a great video and the reviews are so helpful to me. I appreciate all of the work you do to bring good content to us each video. I enjoy your videos so much Jen.🥰💕💗❤🤍🌹🥀🌺🌸💐
I understand that you do reviews based on your experience using the products... I recently got the LYS foundation and it worked great on my combo-mostly dry skin wearing it for almost nine hrs. I think it did not work for you because you don't tend to set your makeup with powder often... I thought that the Armani Luminous Silk fndtn was dissapointing because it looked heavy on my skin every time but it had grew on me since I changed my sunscreen... and voilá'..! Problem solved..!
L’Oréal setting spray is a holy grail for me. Oh, it is definitely like spraying hairspray and that sucks but what is amazing about it is that I can spray it around my jawline and onto my neck and my shirts don’t get makeup on them! I don’t think it is intended to be pleasant to use and necessarily make you makeup last longer. In fact, I use a setting spray first to melt all my makeup together and then use this to lock it down so when I go in to hug someone or my jacket collar rubs against my face it doesn’t transfer my makeup.
Speaking of new makeup, what is the BEST new product you've tried (10/10) and the WORST (1/10)? Let me know! 👇👇
Revolution True Icon Palette 6/10-it’s really pretty however I used the cream as eyeliner and set really well with powder shadow today and it still transferred onto my eyelid, within about 20 minutes my eye look was ruined. Only used it once so we will see.

I heard it was like One Size knock off. Haven’t tried it but saw good reviews.
A roundup of cooltoned foundations? I feel like a lot of us need one and can't find one.
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!!
I do, too! I'm pinky cool toned, so hard to get in the US

Great tip about using it on the neck to keep makeup off of clothes! I’ll have to try it. 😊
