Unintentionally saw them in concert back in 2009. Went to see Metallica, they and Volbeat were opening. Thought the music was good, but wasn't into harsh vocals at all back then, so never really explored their music. Years later I get into Jinjer and find out Randy Blythe is one of Tati's big harsh vocal influences. I did find guitarist Mark Morton's solo album he did with guest singers, which features the song Cross Off, the last song recorded by Chester Bennington.
I feel like Randy influenced a lot of metal singers. His scream is soooooo good! Such a unique scream. I was aware of his influence on Tati, I think he might have influenced Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox as well. I am trying to see what others bands I like I am going to throw on the channel :) Thanks as always Chris!!! Sabaton No Bullets Fly is dropping this weekend, that song was so powerful.
