TC Helicon Gaming - GLAD YOU'RE BACK!!
They never left really
Im so glad you all are still with us! Thanks for the continued support.
Excellent news as I heard this product had been Abandoned by the Devs.
Fake news launched by people paid by elgato
The UA-cam personalities helped with making TC Helicon realize that the GoXLR has plenty of life left in it, especially with some new software function updates like this one (submixing). It was important that they continue to support the device, and the outlash seemed to help keep some staffing going. IMO the device is not dead.
Great idea, thank you. I have had my Goxlr for 5 years and I still use it. GOXLR isn't dead.
I was in shock and ran to UA-cam to check if it's true !! Glad to see you back
Awesome Video!!! I love the vast creativity you guys provide to the user! GREAT ADDITION!!!
Great new update, thanks a lot! Only feature I am missing and would help me out a lot is that I can once more seperate all the Inputs for programs like OBS. I would love to have more control over the Audio thats displayed in my VODs in contrast to my live mix :)
THIS.
So great to hear there’s an update, heard the devs quit or something and this brings hope❤️
Great update! Thank you for keeping the app fresh!
❤Thank You TC Helicon Gaming ❤
Can't wait to see upcoming features 👀
Very cool. I see this making so many things easier for end users.
It would be pretty nice if a person has both a GoXLR and GoXLR Mini, they could plug in both into the same PC and utilize all 8 sliders for each of the mixer inputs. Maybe a future update could make this possible?
There's been some experimentation on this, but with the hardware of the GoXLR, it's not an easy thing to implement. We've also looked into fader paging (press & holding down a combination of mute buttons activating a second page of your faders), while we've gotten further with fader paging than the other, there's no saying what the final implementation of these features look like. It's not in our current roadmap, but if we do find time for it, we'd love to give it a shot.

@@HeliconGaming honstly having pages of faders would be so useful 4 is nice but i keep feeling having only 4 just isnt enough to gain complete control
you guys came back!!
Thank you for a great update
Thanks so much for this! Its awesome!
if you could somehow make the go xlr mini be able to route the submixes through a seperate dac amp via the app like the wavelink does, that would be fire because then i could use my own dac/amp with the GO xlr without having to add any other device or cabling
That sounds like a great idea. I'll let the dev team know of this and see if it's something we can incorporate for GoXLR 2!
@@HeliconGaming thank you
seconded, currently route the stream mix through voicemeeter as a mic input and i lose all of the "streamer vs audience" function
was actually looking at getting something like the hifiman EF600 and connecting the headphone out on the goxlr into the rca in on the EF600, tried with my schiit magni and it worked but now i have a benchmark dac1 usb which doesnt have analog inputs
@@shadeshotTV even if the paging system requires a stream deck or button map on keyboard
This is actually huge! You all are making this product worth its 1000 dollars!
This is really great
Letsssss gooo Casper!!!
LOVE THIS :D
I wish I could connect several or 2 GOXLRs to one PC so that I can control my audio separately from my friend's audio
Is it possible for you to do this?
can you elaborate a bit more on what the whole setup is that you are currently using? do you have 2 separate windows open on 1 pc? or is it split screen... this will make all the difference if its possible in any scenario with any amount of equipment.
I use at the moment 2 pc so i can controll my audio with 2GoXlr, and with obs ndi you can stream the audio to the other PC 😅
@@pythonbacchus6253 try setting the applications default sound output to goxlr game audio output device and then have an aux cable from second pc go to the line in on the goxlr and you should have both pc's on separate channels on the goxlr in which you can also set on the mixer/add to stream mix on the routing table for recording
@@pythonbacchus6253 using the line in you shouldnt have to stream the audio to the other pc
Next i would love a simple option for one fader to affect one them one input at a time. Love to see you work on the GOXLR tho!
Love the undead preset!
Amazing!
Since the update, you can no longer use the optical cable from the PS5 to a sound extractor. to have the system sound on your computer you must either unplug it or turn on your ps5 :(
Hi! This issue can be fixed by going into your GoXLR Control panel and changing the sample rate from 44.1 to 48Khz.
@@HeliconGaming I looked and I'm at 512 samples. And I'm also at 48000Hz. have I forgotten something?
@@HeliconGaming I also have the same problem since the update
@@HeliconGamingHi , I tried to fix that too! but I didn't get there... I've been struggling for 2 days ..
@@kekev34 I'm so reassured that I'm not the only one with this problem!! Will there be a fix soon? @HeliconGamingYT
Hell yea…welcome back
Sweet, with kiwi on top! THANKS
Hey its my SMM friend! :D
I purchased the mini a while ago mainly to provision a microphone I have, then noticed the auxiliary benefits of having an interface, but never tried streaming before so to a layman like me I find this ultimately convenient. But to professionals is this simply an alternative, a convenience with questionable costs, or is it effectively 1:1?
Yo! What are the chances you guys add more mixing methods to the GoXLR/Mini? For people who use mics that require lots of mixing, I think something like a Parametric Equalizer would be super dope and give people more of a broad control of their sound. I'm adamant on not swapping from my GoXLR, we've been through too much together, so I'd love to see new EQ options in the future!
Adding new DSP isn't really something we've looked into since picking it up here in Denmark, but if it's something you guys would like to see, we'll look into it and see what's possible. Granted, it's not planned on our current roadmap, but down the line, anything can happen!
anybody else end up here because their GoXLR updated today?
I was so surprised to see an update pushed today on my GoXLR, why is it still being actively worked on? Or was this an old file you found to push out?
big W
Love this update, my only qualm is that it's pretty pointless, and it moves the mixer from one app to another. This submix basically removes OBS' audio mixer and moves it to the GoXLR Utility app. I'd like to suggest having the ability to control the submix via the GoXLR itself - which makes things a million times easier. It could be something like pressing two buttons together to trigger the submix, which changes the faders to control the submix & changes the headphone output to PFL (or preview) the submix itself (similar to a "Sends on Fader" mode on a professional audio console).
That way, while streaming, we could press a button, the headphone output would preview the submix, and the faders would control the submix. We can then control what stream hears via the GoXLR rather than using a mouse and keyboard. This is also helpful when we're in game and can't afford to alt+tab or minimise the game.
Agreed, in concept this is exactly what I would have wanted. But in practice in still works the exact same as just manually tuning it in OBS and still causing me as the streamer the same grief, I have to take a look at my software and manually slide it everytime I want to do a change.
If there was a separate button/I could map a button on the physical GoXLR to change between mixes and then adjust accordingly, it would be a godsend. But for now with this update, I'm still using a GoXLR for my own audio, and then using a Midi Controller a separate slider for volume mixes on what my stream hears.
Seria possível, nomeadamente a nível do line in e do line out? Obrigado pela atenção e cumprimentos
Its likely not a feature il use, HOWEVER, thank you for continued support for all of us GoXLR users!
When can we expect the GoXLR 2?
is there a way to press a button and have the physical slider change the mix you want to. Something like the mute button is dual purpose. You press and hold it to change which mix you are adjusting, but you press normally to mute the channel. Or using a different button to swap what mix you are adjusting. that is what i see you are missing right now, once thats implemented you will have a total submix solution.
Does this mean TC Helicon isn't abandoning the goxlr now?
We aren't going anywhere!

is there a way to say i want the music to be 10%louder for my stream than on my headphones but still regulate with the switch on the board?
great vid thx for this ! i noticed with the outputs section if i down my mic slide for turn down the mic monitor my friends on discord hear me less than the slide is at 100% i supose this is totaly normal, but maybe add back mic monitor on the outputs is a way ?
Hey! If you put your Chat mic onto B in mix assignment, you can use A (blue slider) as a mic monitor without it affecting the volume for your friends. I might include it in an upcoming video on some more submix tricks!
/Casper
@@HeliconGaming love you for real thx savior
Can you add submix control on the sliders?
Anyway to fix my software not loading my profile on load? it's getting tedius having to open it up and manually select my profile.
Can anyone help with a good routing set up for obs on a single pc?? Using discord, etc?? Thanks!
I use 2 computers, how do I pass the Stream Mix audio track to the other computer in the stream?
You can do that by using the B mix for your Line Out
whoever said goxlr is dad is wrong
TC Helicon fires the entire GOXLR team, then does nothing with the product for an EON. Then out of the blue comes back with a big update? Ok.... You have not won me back yet, but I'm here for it. Listen to the community and if this introduces bugs, fix them!
