Hi Phillip, you mention in this video that this is the first in a series of clips but I cant find anymore... Can you please post the link to these here? Love your teaching style btw!
+shefali surabhi ask away! I'm not a specialist in that course and I do not have the book commuted to memory page by page (as I do for GSL), but ask anyway. =)
Hy I am Samita... I have my foundation exam of FAR in August. Have you completed your exam? Can you please provide me your email address so that we can have a short discussion on this subject. Thanks in advance Shefali.
I'm thinking of starting to get ready ASAP for the course so I'll be able to be ready when the semester starts (S1 2017) what do you recommend based on your experience training a student to pass the GSL? regards, Niv
Fiso Director This coming semester is the last time that the course will be run using the *big* CASE STUDY as pre-seen. in s2 2017, there will be a bunch of little case study you will need to read in the exam, so it will be a very different course to this semester. Basically, you will be the last of the "current" crew. After that... who knows? Thus, my number one advice would be PASS FIRST TIME! Because if you don't, you'll have to re-learn a new course from scratch!
+Fiso Director I really can't because you won't be able to get the entire study guide in PDF format (you can ask a buddy for their physical copy maybe), and in any case, the majority of the work is in the last 2 weeks when you get the pre-seen case study. This means that the first 8 weeks is spent reading the study guide, which is deathly boring (even for me and I teach the subject). The final 2 weeks is spent ripping apart the case study and that's kept a closely held trade secret of CPA. Basically, it's hard to say what you can do now because ... there probably isn't much other than to get a study guide and start reading.
Can you please make video on hint for MCQs based questions for Semester 1 2021

Hi Phillip how about two units for a semester? Do you think it’s a very bad idea? Following a schedule and classes will is it still possible??
It will be fine. So long as you manage your study load it’s totally fine.
