There should be a balance out there. The 4WD community sometimes is so reckless and damaging to the roads and that’s before they even go off road. But the state government should really allocate a large tract of land for what is a genuine hobby where these drivers can enjoy a challenging experience. But just shouldn’t come at the cost of destroying nature state wide, with their terrible decisions to cut through. Honestly there is very little reason to own a 4WD in the state of Victoria. I would only advocate for it in FNQ where the roads stop being roads as you go west.
loads of reasons to own a 4wd and travelling and exploring this amazing country is just as Australian as boomerangs and Vegemite! The Indigenous tribes wandered this great land for 70,000 years and brave explores opened it up for modern settlement. Prospecting then boomed and the passion, love and capability Aussies have to thrive in the beautiful Australian outdoors continues today. There are a small group of idiots in all communities whether you ride mountain bikes, are muslim or own nursing homes - every group has that small amount of morons who ruin it for everyone else when the vast majority are reasonable, common sense humans who do the right thing. We do currently have a balance. But there is a minority who want to take that balance away from us and converting almost a million acres of state forests into national parks (in just Eastern Victoria) is no form of balance. It also doesn't take much to realise that it was primarily the 4wd industry that saved Australia during the GFC. There's a million reasons as to why Australia is the number one manufacturer of 4x4 automotive accessories and is regarded worldwide for it's 4wd destinations, 4wd products and 4wd know how. In Fact the owner of 4wd TV is called on to do consulting around the world, he is engaged by some of the world's biggest automotive events as an expert judge and consultant and he does 4x4 training globally. When you travel, you realise how much respect, validation and weight the Aussie 4wd scene carries. So please don't devalue the community or lump the good majority together with the minority of bush abusing dickheads who are most likely the same clowns who the cops trod on for their hoon behaviour in lowered Commodores.
how many times did the host of the video say this is an issue for all Australians? You are spot on mate, this is a national disaster and everyone needs to unite with this fight. We are trying and thank you for the support.
yes of course. That is why the minister for the environment called a meeting with the organisers of this event. We have their attention and are working in for a solution but not giving up the fight.
Totally agree with you mate, we need our voices to be heard. Or we'll end up like Tassie, only wealthy hikers walking along "guided hike routes" where you aren't even allowed to wander if you don't pay. We pay for our taxes for the ST and we'll keep using them, thank you.
People ripping it up off the tracks, rubbish, used toilet paper flapping in the wind, where is the respect to mother nature. Fight should be reminding humans to have respect for our beautiful land !!
absolutely, we are doing all of that. But there are a couple of things going on. We started 4wd TV twenty tears ago to protect our access and to educate people, so the message of being responsible is something we have pushed for two decades and it remains a major issue. The secondary part though is that whilst there are definite overlaps, in some regards we need to keep the issues separate because it is a minority who do the damage and the greens weaponise those acts to guilt trip most Australians into thinking closing the tracks is the best thing, when their agenda to close it has nothing at all to do with the damage done by a small group of morons. So yes, but is absolutely an important issue but it is not actually the reason that they want to lock us out.

Many years ago, just browsing, I came across a test paper regarding shutting down regional areas (bit annoyed now I never downloaded it), and I'm talking about 15-20yrs ago. It was meant for a US audience, but I see the ramifications here now. It talked about state forests, national parks, smaller towns and all the services they contained (banking, govt services and private) just being shut down. The paper mentioned forcing people into cities and only with a permit could they travel into these areas. I know all first world governments have their own agendas, and they all follow each other eventually, so beware ...
In1983 The government stopped High Country Cattle Grazing my dad said then mark my words in the future there will be a bushfire that will go all the way to Canberra and in 2003 it happened this is like that.may look good at the start but will soon become bad in the long run in the future
I fully support this push from the users, however we also need to show stewardship of the forests we use. We need to stop emulating and applauding the actions of a small majority, and influencers that tear up tracks and vehicles. There is unfortunately a certain 4wd channel on UA-cam that sets all too often irresponsible wheeling. Their sponsors need to realise that yes it's good to promote their goods, but when tracks and vehicles are being damaged in the name of entertainment, it's not exactly great advertisement. And if they think those who want to lock us out don't look at said "experts" think again.
you are on the money mate, drives us nuts...and with all that said...it is no surprise that we are the only 4x4 media group supporting and covering this

Hello from Greece! Any forest could be next, not just Vic. If there is a lesson to be learned about the so called 'national parks' in Africa where privateers can charge 300 usd per nigh to just camp there, Or America that may ban whatever is not "designed from factory to be a 4xr4" on their offroad trails (they already have nat parks with rules and regulations , I dont know about fees.I dont want to see this happening to Aussie territory , its huge! And not what I call freedom of movement... Best , I hope your politicians get affected by the movement and decide there is not a lot of money in it for them ....
This is a nation wide problem We are getting locked out of so many places. Campsites are tiny, national parks and state forests have so many restrictions now ive all but stopped going camping. I go camping for a cheap get away not to share tent ropes in a 3x3 sqaure for 30 bucks a night. 4wd access is bwcoming a thing of the past and i hope we done ever have to pay for thr privelege for it because if i have topay to access a track to throw a swag on some dirt ill be done with 4wds for good
The loggers generally do a great job of keeping the forests open, roads in order and are our first line of fire defence and forest security. Their balanced activities could also be argued to be a balance environmental approach that cycles the land much like indigenous planted burns did.
Are you guys planning to do something similar in WA? We desperately need it here too. It's getting hard to do anything enjoyable anywhere in Australia these days. Camping, 4wding, hunting, fishing, fossicking - they're all classic Aussie recreational activities that are slowly being made impossible by the lack of available land. These kind of changes affect all of us, and the protests have been too long coming.
it is not us doing anything mate, it is you. we are just supporting the people, so feel free to start something 😁 and get behind what these guys are doing as it is a national issue

Time for this to go national we all need to stand up its Australia wide
how many times did the host of the video say this is an issue for all Australians? You are spot on mate, this is a national disaster and everyone needs to unite with this fight. We are trying and thank you for the support.
Keep fighting! 💪👍
Retard
we aren't stopping but we need your support!
❤❤❤
Small groups have no pull but groups joining together will make a difference
yes of course.
And a $900 fine for stepping foot off a trail!
How about some links in the description to support the cause?

Vote Labor out !!!
Thank you for your support. check for updates on their Facebook page please.
Shit I would have come!!!! had I known. Let’s keep doing this!!!!!
thank you...we promoted it for a month or more and were stoked to get a convoy together with over 80 4wds then get to Woodpsoint where there were plenty more waiting. But yes we need everyone to sign the petition and help spread the word please.
@@4WDTV just goes to show, some people like myself still missed it, I’m in QLD, but still keen to support the 4x4 family
@@whynot0969 support is always welcomed!
They’ll lock us out and hand it to their “traditional owners” to do as they wish… And I say traditional owners with an industrial level of sarcasm…
locked up, national parks or native title - it is all going mate.
@@4WDTVdon’t blame aboriginals their being used its a UN agenda do some research be better informed
Common sense is not common❤❤❤❤❤😊
Many years ago, just browsing, I came across a test paper regarding shutting down regional areas (bit annoyed now I never downloaded it), and I'm talking about 15-20yrs ago. It was meant for a US audience, but I see the ramifications here now. It talked about state forests, national parks, smaller towns and all the services they contained (banking, govt services and private) just being shut down. The paper mentioned forcing people into cities and only with a permit could they travel into these areas. I know all first world governments have their own agendas, and they all follow each other eventually, so beware ...
Frightening...
The Building Industry will suffer as well because they rely on the timber which State Forests supply. The cost of housing will also increase!
there are so many disasters coming from this. Thank you for your support. check for updates on their Facebook page please.
Onya people. I didn’t hear about it, otherwise I’d have been there.
we pushed it hard on our Facebook and have been banging on about the cause for months...it is important and we need all the help please mate!
In1983 The government stopped High Country Cattle Grazing my dad said then mark my words in the future there will be a bushfire that will go all the way to Canberra and in 2003 it happened this is like that.may look good at the start but will soon become bad in the long run in the future
Wild deer and dogs, bushfires and more mate...the Greens are idiots
Labor and the greens need those parks so they can rip them apart and re zone them as wind farms for their mates to get rich on.
it's disgusting
I fully support this push from the users, however we also need to show stewardship of the forests we use. We need to stop emulating and applauding the actions of a small majority, and influencers that tear up tracks and vehicles. There is unfortunately a certain 4wd channel on UA-cam that sets all too often irresponsible wheeling. Their sponsors need to realise that yes it's good to promote their goods, but when tracks and vehicles are being damaged in the name of entertainment, it's not exactly great advertisement. And if they think those who want to lock us out don't look at said "experts" think again.
you are on the money mate, drives us nuts...and with all that said...it is no surprise that we are the only 4x4 media group supporting and covering this
Exactly. This ban is happening because people have done it to themselves. Now we all get punished for it
@@VladaldTrumptin how did we cause the global 30 30 agenda? How did we cause green bonds? What are you talking about mate? This is a world wide agenda to lock up wilderness.
I live in Warburton..and sick of big wheels of 4wd and bikes chewing our bush up... rubbish and human waste left everywhere...fires being lit by pucnic people bbq on the hottest windiest day last year in the middle of town. ..these people dont respect our beautiful town they shit in the redwoods....and they rarely spend money in town. I prefer these people stay out of our area. I get angry when i see 4wd covered in mud from our mountain parked in town after a day of 'fun'... They can piss off imho
Exactly
They want to put power generators in there
that is somewhat of an issue under the green bonds agenda but it is only one part of the problem.
I had heard the US is, or has done the same thing with their forests. ❤
Annoying that you have to be a resident of Victoria to sign this petition as it affects many other people from other states of Australia
agreed. Thank you for your support. check for updates on their Facebook page please.

Thank you for the kind words! We are fighting for all Australians and making a stand for outdoor enthusiasts everywhere!
Even the Local Police was participating at 6:04 & 6:55 👍
yes and why not, we were doing nothing illegal and everyone was responsible and well behaved. The local cops were lovely to deal with.
@@4WDTV And they are "Top Cops" as they have their job to do.
Everyone loves a bbq sauso ❤️😂
@@Kim-vl4gf definitely!
This is a nation wide problem
We are getting locked out of so many places. Campsites are tiny, national parks and state forests have so many restrictions now ive all but stopped going camping. I go camping for a cheap get away not to share tent ropes in a 3x3 sqaure for 30 bucks a night. 4wd access is bwcoming a thing of the past and i hope we done ever have to pay for thr privelege for it because if i have topay to access a track to throw a swag on some dirt ill be done with 4wds for good
exactly right. Thank you for your support. check for updates on their Facebook page please.
No more national parks more forestry for all Australian's they do a better job
The loggers generally do a great job of keeping the forests open, roads in order and are our first line of fire defence and forest security. Their balanced activities could also be argued to be a balance environmental approach that cycles the land much like indigenous planted burns did.
❤❤❤
Sorry I missed this day 😮
Thank you for your support. check for updates on their Facebook page please.
LETS START OUR OWN GOVERNMENT
haha, lets just start by voting this one out 😜
@@4WDTV unfortunately thats the trap they've tricked us with for decades. They are corporate imposters playing both sides.
Only victorians can sign the petition. wtf!
exactly, it is so stupid mate!!!
Its all about Containment!
Whats coming to Eart is Mega Bad!
Where’s the evs oh that’s right it’s not the city
they are still mining the Lithium using child labour and dangerous leaching pools...so better stick to the cities where they are safe 😜
Don't vote uniparty. The uniparty works for overseas interests.

You need to combine with other organisations, Field & Game, SSAA, 4WD Clubs, Horse Riding Clubs, Hiking clubs, Unions ect. You will have much more success as a united front. Field & Game successfully campaigned to have duck hunting continue against greens with support of ETU and other organisations. Field & Game have started Take action Tuesdays, search out these types of things and link them all up.
They don’t want you to see what they are selling land and the trees that are taking it’s big in north Brisbane
it is disgusting
Where can I order a hoody from. Wish I had of known about the day
A vote for the greens will only make it worse!
ah yes, that is why we are doing this to educate people
