Mushroom and onions added to the burger rules in my book! Thanks for the great hack. Curious though, about mixing in soy curls? Have you tried that?
I think the kitchen isn't the best place to experiment with my meat.

😳😨 wym by that
Lol
@@fedorfedorovych1646 he using jergens lotion
I had a bunch of spring roll wrappers left (since hey come in packs of 50 and are -- allegedly -- not supposed to be re-frozen upon thawing). We also had a pack of Impossible grounds. I sautéd it with mushrooms, carrots, onions, and a burger sauce to bind it all, then filled the wrappers with them. I lightly brushed on a thin layer of oil and baked them (they were too rich to deep fry). Best usage of Impossible grounds I've had to date, and an easy way to stretch out the "meat" over several dozen rolls!
TVP is a great filler for impossible meat for tacos and stuff like that. I use anywhere between a ratio of 1:1 and 1 part impossible to 2 parts TVP
I use beans or lentils because they taste good, help hold things together, and are an actual nutritious filler as opposed to breadcrumbs. 👍
Thats a really good idea, and id imagine not much more expensive if not cheaper? Breadcrumbs at the shops are kinda pricey for what they actually are whereas dried lentila are probably the cheapest food out there
If you grow your mushrooms yourself, they are really cheap. They can grow in almost anything as long as you pressure coock/sterilize it.
Dirt, logs, straw, hey, coffee grounds, compost, garden waste, grass clippings.
There are a lot of ways to experience with your meat in the kitchen 💀
Thank God I found this comment
I thought I was the only one who heard that
@@BlueStrider101 ye lol
Very different take from the comment above you.
Yooooooo
The mushroom, onion burger sounds and looks delicious, but I wouldn’t touch those vegan meats with a proverbial 10ft pole!!! But that’s just me.
🍄 🧅 🍔
Can you make a tutorial how to make vegan meet without store bought vegan meet, cause where I live there's no vegan meat in store.
I have! ua-cam.com/users/shortsJDU-bisbb14?feature=share

@@TheeBurgerDude thank you so much!!!!
I do this sometimes, mostly with extra vegan meat
All jokes aside about experimenting with your meat, love this channel for the super practical tips on eating vegan. I’m getting to a point where I make more of my own food, and this channel is always very helpful for some simple and applicable recipes as I try to lower my meat consumption. Best of luck man 🫡
Cool idea... Maybe even chickpea patties made at home mixing ground quinoa into the chickpea could be extremely cheap and healthy
I’ve never found a store bought vegan meat I’ve enjoyed- however I have made some good meat substitutes with tofu!
They really do measure in burgers huh
Thats kinda rad
I generally find the best way to extend vegan meats is to disinvite the in-laws.
Thanks for that video man, A brick of Impossible Meat topped $15 over here. I remember when I could buy it for $6!
Interesting idea. Thx.
TVP, Tofu, Walnuts, Beans etc etc etc are all good options
I rock with The Great Depression strats
this is the equivalent of adding sawdust to soup
You can also try making aloo tikki burgers or aloo Patty burgers
Wow!
Great idea!
Thank you Dude ✌️🌱💞
Isnt this how spaghetti and meatballs was invented? To reuse the stale bread as breadcrumbs.
I wish TVP was afforable where I was! I brought some at like $10nzd for 200 grams (cheapest option when factoring in shipping if brought online) and it made some delightful meatballs to put on pizza.
They have 2lb for $20-25 on Amazon
bro im not even a vegan and these look SOOOO good!
Slug burger? I heard that wrong clearly. What's it actually called and what's in it?
@@44hy57 wow, that is a disgusting name for a burger.
It's not named after actual slugs - the burgers were sold for a nickel (or a slug) in the '50s.
I don't eat TVP, not voluntarily. I don't want bread crumbs in burgers either, whether vegan or meaty.
“Experiment with your meat”…..what do you mean by that?🤔😂
Lmao SHROOMS wit burgers is crazy
Try making pecan meat burgers
I make mushroom black bean onion burgers. I want to experiment with eggplant.
Many nuts give me digestive issues. And I won't consider TVP or, seitan, or bread crumbs. (I prefer burgers in lettuce wraps, no buns, it's a taste thing.).
Thats so cool!!!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤
Cheaper for you but more money
I add tvp and sauteed chopped mushrooms!
Nothing replaces real beef
yes sir
Pro tip: if you want to save money on burger patties just buy real beef same great flavour and half the price
Ignoring the morals of this situation I see
Gonna start doing this with our regular ground beef too. Everything is getting so expensive.
Or just stop using cows as food and use food as food.
@@teresajose2280 yes!
@@teresajose2280 what.
Eat regular beef dude. These guys are clowns
@@teresajose2280 Cows are food. You don't see me on here disrespecting any vegans and their diet. I enjoy both regular meat and vegan meat, but I'm not about to throw away the ground beef I have in my freezer just because you claim cows aren't food 😂
vegans really out here doing the same kind of stuff my grandparenta were doing during ww2.
Bruh everyone is. Life's expensive.
Did I hear that right? Slug burger? Ya'll know slugs are animals right?
🥶
i love how this guy makes vegan burger videos that are actually good ( this is how to do vegan content properly)
What does it taste like?
or sawdust if your marge simpson lols
*pause*
Our family often add oats. Trick is to let it stand for 15 minutes.
carrots are way better than you would think.
Is it ok if I call you mommy or The Booboo Bandit 🥺❤
Good
problem is i dont wanna lose protein/100gm
So don't eat a burger, go eat a protein heavy food.
@@pedroaugustocosta2533 burgers are high in protein
You might want to look up how much protein you actually need a day instead of what you think you need. If you are an athlete you might want to check out what vegan athletes and nutritionist have to say about too much protein for the human body.
You also might want to check out the impact that a diet of mostly meat has on the body from doctors and scientists as opposed to money seeking hucksters on the internet.
Hi
being vegan does come with a cost.
TVP in was Czech tank project named Tank Všeobecného Použití - tank of every use
Slug burger? Doesn't sound particularly appetising
The real ones taste better
if plants are so delicious as vegans, why do you want them to taste like meat?
Nobody said we eat plants because they’re delicious, some of us like the taste of meat
@@Immortalon4747 then why go vegan lmao
@@Jezko. some people don’t want to eat animals, some think the meat industry itself in inhumain, I actually can’t eat meat, I don’t have the enzymes or whatever to digest meat, but yeah

@@Jezko. Because ethics and morale
Charging $8 for soy protein is criminal considering soybeans are one of the cheapest crops in the US
Hey man, I don't think you should be doing anything with your meat in the kitchen
Do you consider fish meat or not like many religions?
Vegans don't eat any animal products.
@@wiggard Yeah they are super malnourished.
Vegan beef? WTF is that?
It’s just plants that taste like beef
I'm too poor to be vegan
Ya vegan?
slug burger? 👂🧏

@@TheeBurgerDude I had to google "slug burger" and still, I'm here asking what it means. lol The top results were of burgers made with beef and pork.
@@musicmaniac32 Right? I'm still unsure
Bro vegan meat can never taste good ngl
Protein??
It's in the vegan meat. You can also use lentils, split peas, or other dried and rehydrated legumes for added protein.

Except that's not meat...
Correct. It’s VEGAN meat.
Sushi
Vegan meat is not meat

Tbh, beef is much better Can you do more vidéos about normal beef.
He is vegan, why would he
@@pedroaugustocosta2533 He can bring like another person to eat it.
I just don't like the taste of vegan food it's too bland even with seasoning.
@@tablehumanchair6029 I mean the majority of his recipes can be done with normal meat, so I don't think it's that big of a deal, just chance vegan meat for normal meat and you're basically good to go
that's a vegan chanel, all recipes will be vegan.
And vegan meat is not that bad.
@@pedroaugustocosta2533 Idk man, last time I ate vegan meat it tasted like flavored cardboard.
@@tablehumanchair6029 you need good quality meat and it need to be properly cooked, and you can't go thinking it will taste the same as a steak.
But to sum it all up, you can use all his recipes, just change the vegan meat for normal meat.
How about eat real food
