This is for me one of the best parts and moments of the Olympics ! This young lady makes the best type of hero full of drive and grace and humility and a wonderful sense of humor and self confidence ❤️🤍💙thank you for showcasing the olympians it’s very appreciated and congratulations to Katie we are all so proud of her !
I can't think of anyone who embodies the American spirit of hard work, drive, dedication and appreciative modesty better than Ms. Kathryn Ledecky! I've been following her since the beginning...she swam her first races as "Kathryn Ledecky." We're so proud of you, Katie!
I agree! Was pushing through a swim yesterday trying to imitate even a tiny portion of her work ethic. But I want to say, since your handle is lawman, that in listening to Supreme Court Justice Katanji Brown Jackson this week, I'd have to say she fits that description to a t. Both are phenomenal.
Wow. Her athleticism and accomplishments are obviously impressive, but that charm and authentic personality is so great to see. I love when you find out the people you look up to are actually great people.
Hi, Katie Ledecky, thank you for sharing Fallon's video. While the dancing-during-the-greetings-instead-of-hugging-each-other routine might not be my cup of tea, I appreciate the effort you put into creating it. Everyone has different tastes, and I respect your perspective. Wishing you the best with your channel!
That is too far fetched. To train and compete for another twelve years after already doing thirteen, to still be at the elite level at age 39. Katie deserves a life that isn't dominated by swimming after she tries to qualify for the next Olympics.
@@navidanjum4051 For an opinion to have any merit it needs facts to support it. Do you also think that Simone Biles will change to rhythmic gymnastics or trampoline in twelve years time? There is a big difference between swimming the longest distance in the pool, 1500m aged in the 20s and swimming open water 10km at any time let alone twelve years later. Daniel Wiffen, aged 23, from Ireland, competing in the Paris games won a gold medal in the men's 800m freestyle, bronze in the 1500m and placed 18th in the 10km open water marathon. So, it is extremely difficult to transition from the longest pool events to an open water one that is more than six times longer at a young age never mind at age 39.
@@JohnHF1957 Listen very carefully, what i mean by longer events is 800m, 1500m, which she already swims IN POOL. I am NOT talking about swimming marathon in OPEN WATER. 1500m, 800m swimming are obviously difficult. But there are advantages too. There will never be many huge talented female swimmers in these two longer events 800m and 1500m. Means a bit older swimmer who has won few golds in these two particular events already, has good chance to win medals in her older age. Katie is one of those who just love to swim in longer events and her body suits it too. On top of that I don't see any current or young swimmers who can or will challenge her in thses two longer events 800m and 1500m in next 10-12 years.
@@navidanjum4051 Firstly, dingbat, you wrote something, I am reading it, so there is no "listening" involved. Secondly you said swimming longer events, well she already swims the longest events in the pool, so the only longer one is the open water 10km. Thirdly "I don't see any current or younger swimmers who can or will challenge her in these two longer events 800m and 1500m in the next 10-12 years", well Ariane Titmus got the silver medal in the 800m in Paris just over a second behind Ledecky and she is three years younger and Summer McIntosh, who is only 18, beat Ledecky over 800m in February, the first person to do so since 2010, also there are young swimmers who will emerge in the next decade. Finally, elite swimmers do not compete successfully at the highest level in their late 30s. So, overall, you don't seem to know much about swimming at this level and you obviously haven't looked far enough to see which other swimmers are competing. Perhaps you need to "listen" to yourself to hear how wrong you are and actually look at the facts related to the situation.
Jimmy Fallon, please continue to be as classy as a comedian as you have been in the past through SNL with good humor, testing all levels and pushing the bar without being offensive to the reasonable humorous. I hope you do not mind but many of my older friends or people I know that have lived and experience Johnny Carson give their comparison and respect to you and believe that you would’ve made Johnny proud. Continue please kind way of being a host but yet feel free to make those wonderful SNL digs that give that special twist to your show coming together. God bless and love from Wisconsin Madison.😂🎉

Welcome to The Twilight Zone. Why doesn't anyone care that this is a dude? And Caitlin Clark. Is it all about betting and making women's sports more interesting? I don't get it.
Beautiful Long Distance Swimming *Freak,* in the Water.. 🫡☺️😊☺️☺️❤️🔥❤️🔥👍❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 (It's) Always a *Joy* to watch her Compete.☺️👍❤️🔥🫶 Only downside is when, on those thankfully Rare Occasions when various members of the competition staggers up and down in what is, I can only imagine, "celebration" - bellowing as if choking on saurcraut.. 🙄😑🤢🙄🙄🙄🤓🙄🙄
The genuine humility and real, down-to-earth attitude ooze through the screen every time she speaks.
I just love her! She’s so humble and down to earth. To compete and triumph at that level and not change who she is, that’s gold right there 🥇💛👏🏻

Great Interview :) What a superstar athlete and role model she is! Very down to earth.
Man i can listen to her all day, so down to earth. GOAT
She’s such a badass.
Yes, a badass to win over so many gold medals so that others can only compete for silver. This kind of badass is rare as a hundred-year occurrence.
She's so humble ❤
Maya Hawke should play Katie in a biopic

Love you Katie. You're so amazing and such an AWESOME role model!
Not just an amazing athlete, but also an amazing human being.
Not me thinking the title meant adult Katie playing peek-a-boo with Michael Jordan. 😂
Wow. Her athleticism and accomplishments are obviously impressive, but that charm and authentic personality is so great to see. I love when you find out the people you look up to are actually great people.
Wow, Michael Jordan moment too what an extraordinarily surreal encounter add to all the Olympic stuff as well!
We have some amazing women athletes in this country! 👏 👏 👏

Pure class.
what an amazing human.
Katie we love you❤️
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, amazing video I really liked it
LOVE !
To be that committed with that prestige of an upbringing, speaks surprising standards set by her parents. Bravo.
We might even see her in 2036 Olympics longer swimming events because of her unique ability to swim long time with same speed.
