This is by far the coolest gamecube controllermod I have ever seen! The magenta buttons and emerald blue controller go prefect together and those LEDs and cotten candy paracord only add to the awesomeness of this controller!!

Dude that is so awesome! I'm just starting to get into soldering , so I got a long ways yet to go... but seeing things like this, it gets me super hype of all the things you can do to make something truly unique.

There's one! I'm curious to see if there's anything special to making the joysticks. I see you using them a bunch but I don't recall you saying where they came from. I'm also guessing they're purely resin and there's no rubber/silicone top, do you think that's doable as a DIY thing? Are translucent rubber/silicone tops possible?

Great tutorial Rocker Gaming! That touch sensor is awesome and the leds, clear encasing and the paracord really make it POP! Still working on making a video for my controller sleeving adventures. Did you create the touch sensor too?

This is awesome! Each new GC controller mod keeps surpassing the previous one! Could you had the A button also lighted up since you made it clear? Have you attempted to mod an OG Xbox before? Because they made a Crystal color model so it must be nice to have it all LED modded! Great video and keep up the good work!
Dan, great advice on the A button! I am going to look into that for next time for sure! I have done some xbox mods, but not sure if I will cover it. There are so many great OG Xbox modders out there, not sure I could bring a ton to the table. Also, Merry Xmas!!!

Great video! Ideally you should have a transistor driving the LED ring, with the base of the transistor to the I/O pin of the touch sensor via a resistor. I'll talk to you about wiring it tommorrow

Sure can and I promise you will see more soon. But full disclosure...The non-nintendo controllers I mod are Sega controllers, lol. The mods are very cool though, I promise!

What Size Paracord do you use?
I use 550, but I have noticed that it can be tight at times
I want to make custom buttons, but all I can afford is play-doh and crayons. They may be good for testing colors, but not actual use
