I have an 07 and did my oil change yesterday, it calls for 4.2 but had to add more just to get it on the dipstick. So is that considered ovwrfilled and would be bad for the engine?
Shona Wicks sorry I’m just getting to this, mine doesn’t have a catch pan/skid plate but there should be a few clips that you pop out with a flat head to get it off. I doubt it’s screwed on
its been debated for while as to which oil is the right stuff to use but the common reason as to why to run diesel oil is bc it was designed for turbo engines. If i can find the article on Jalopnik explaining it more in detail then ill update you and link it. Running Mobil 1 is just as good as running Rotela T6

5 Qts is the capacity. Recommended to change oil every 3k

That's the "true capacity" but one has to consider the oil filter capacity and lines.

same as im using 5w-40, just check your level after a thousand miles if you have any blow by at that milage.
