I freeze my cookies. Then air fry one at a time for about three minutes. They taste like fresh baked.
I received $800 in supermarket vouchers this Christmas feeling so blessed bought wool to crochet by unborn grandchild blanket in time for when it's born bought medicine got unwell after Christmas from my granddaughter which she got it from day care bought frozen salmon chicken vegies etc su h a blessing
@KentuckyNaNasHeart thank you
I’m binge watching all your videos that I can. It’s been a long day
My only suggestion is to put the cookies in a ziplock baggie and freeze them. They freeze very nicely and taste just as great once thawed out. Just pull out however many you want and it doesn’t take long to thaw out either. You got some great items and it will all be very helpful. I love watching you and like you I grab the refried beans and enchilada sauce if they have them at the food bank. You’ll see on several of my last videos on my channel that I got the big cans of enchilada sauce!!! Very nice Corinna.
If you get a box of Zataran’s (sp?) Jambalaya rice mix and put your chorizo sausage in it with a can of corn. It’s really good! It’s also really good if you fry up a skillet of taters , onions and bell peppers if you have them. Love your videos. ❤
Hello thanks for posting great food hauls and happy New Year to you and your family have a blessed and safe one
I make yogurt, bread, granola bars, pudding, baked oatmeal and cookies from oatmeal. Also just found a recipe for three ingredient dog treats.
I freeze them on a cookie sheet, then put them in the bag so they don't stick together nice selection. Best wishes to you and your family for the New Year
Great food haul! Best wishes for a wonderful New Year to you and Glenn. God Bless and Take Care.
I am so impressed with this video and the way in which you are planning your meals from this day forward. The way you shopped at the pantry for the things you needed in upcoming meals was impressive! I love your videos!
I never saw a large cans of spicy V-8. That’s very good I make chili and put some of the V-8 juice in the chili. Blessings to you and Glenn.🎄😘
I also freeze olives. I drain. Put in a freezer bag . And spread flat. So they break apart easily. I use sparingly
Bless you all
Shrimp and chorizo! Make shrimp and chorizo paella. Yum and fancy. Maybe for new year! Great haul.
11:45 I like bean and cheese burritos or tacos I could eat them everyday not everyone loved them.
Ground turkey is so good! Especially when I make tacos
Happy New Year🎉
If you want your ground Turkey to taste more like beef, add some Worcestershire
Great haul and great meal ideas!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Nice hauls, Wishing you lots of Blessings in the New Year and your husband also.🌍👍🌍🎁🌍😘🌍🍀🌍💯🌍🙏🌍🎉🌍👏🌍😋🌍💃🌍
You got some great items from your pantries this week. I like to take the beef stew and heat up and serve over rice /and or mashed potatoes it helps to fill you up more and stretch to go further. Hope you and Glen have a nice New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!!
Love your channel hauls ❤
The beef stew with would make excellent make good pot pies
Beef stew over rice, noodles, or potatoes is good and it stretches the stew.
Hi I am shirley from Guyana since i have been watching your show i have learn a lot thank you a lot happy new year to you and Glean
Nice mix of foods from both pantries Corinna. You really got a treat with that shrimp! Have a nice weekend! Hi to Glen!
Great hauls! Yes, freeze the cookies in a zip top bag! We have done it for years and they are delicious after you defrost them! 🙏🏻💜
Excellent Jell-O
Nice pantry items. Happy New Year to you and Glenn and your fur babies.
You can make a nice gumbo or jambalaya with the shrimp & sausage. It will impart its flavor and stretch a lot further! But that is a great haul!
Good haul! Those apples and oatmeal would be great together. Is there a Ruby's Pantry in your area?
You can make some French fries to have with the shrimp
Oh wow nice haul! You cam make a few different things with your shrimp, thanks for sharing with us and God bless you always 🙏
Ground turkey is great in chili.
The shrimp is not as expensive as you think uncooked sometimes it is a cheaper option for my husband and I than some other meat where we live I can get a bag for $5-7 easy meal and he loves it
Banana bread and muffins are my favorite
You could fry some of your apples. Just slice and fry with a little butter and white or brown sugar til they are tender.
those cookies will freeze just fine,, I would put them in a ziploc bag
In sauce pan, add water, dice a couple apples, add cinnamon and nutmeg mix with oatmeal.
Happy New Year to you and Glenn!
Happy new yr 0:17
You really received a nice variety of foods today! I was looking at your haul and decided how I would use it for my husband and myself. Everyone is different, so the meals I am listing would work with our family. I would be using some pantry items like sugar, flour, oil, coffee and salad dressing as well as buying supplements at the store. My menu:
Breakfast:
5 days would be oatmeal with apples and toast.
2 days muffins with bananas
Lunch:
5 days soup 1/2 can for each of us and tuna, egg or cheese sandwiches
1 day refried bean burritos
1 day left over soup from dinner
Dinner:
2 days pasta with ground turkey, spaghetti sauce and small side salad
1 day fried shrimp, baked potato and corn
2 days sausage, 1 with kraut and pork and beans, 1 sheet pan with potatoes, carrots, frozen vegetables.
1 day potato soup with cheese, broccoli, carrots and egg salad sandwiches
1 day can of pinto beans and air fried potatoes with corn bread.
A side salad could be served with dinners. I would purchase: 2 loaves of bread $2.58, 4 bananas .58, 1 block of cheese 1.39, flour tortillas 1.88, 1 can tuna .96, pasta sauce .99, butter $2.48, lettuce $1.48, roma tomatoes $2.oo, frozen vegetables $1.09m 10 pounds potatoes $3.49, cucumber .77, corn bread .52 carrots, eggs $2.03 and canned vegetables $1.96. The total would be $25.19 based on the prices in my area.
Take care my friends.
I got Shrimp once from my Food Pantry !! Very Nice Surprise!!
Ground turkey makes very good poultry pie, my take off on shepherds pie.
Nice hauls The shrimp & chorizo would make good gumbo or jambalaya.
GOD BLESS from Julie West Central Indiana Farmland..
Somewhere I seen a recipe using different cookies as a crust.
You can cut the chorizo and use it in spaghetti sauce instead of ground beef. Also, red beans and rice or you can use it in yellow rice.
Aren't we blessed to receive all this free food
I would take those cookies out of those containers as they don't seal real tight the cookies might dry out and put in Ziploc bags. I've never used ground turkey
the cookies freeze well I package them in 4 or 6 just hubby nd I.
Good for you Corinna.. you got some useable items. What are you doing for New years Eve/ Day?🤔
That is nice I love shrimp
You can freeze baked cookies. They are better frozen raw. I think baked cookies can pick up the freezer taste quicker. I’d eat them soon.
❤❤❤
You are just so cute!!!
👍
