I agree. I could slice the cucumbers in half the time and not have to clean this contraption when I'm finished.

Those things definitely don't work well unless they're suctioned to the bench, & not all surfaces can be suctioned to. I have bumpy 70s laminex, so i dont think the suction will work. Apparently marble & similar surfaces are the best. I bought a food processor with shredding attachments & find it so annoting to get in & out of the cupboard & then wash up. I used it twice & have just used knives & the grater ever since 😂 some people swear by the graters you've got, though. I hope you find them really helpful & worth the wash up.
