The real issue of rising migration is 10 million people of working age sitting idle enjoying benefits, and a country where no one really wants to be trained to become medical professionals especially nurses and doctors but the need for these professionals is on the rise and in many other professions as well. If immigration in core professions is reduced then the end result would be people who have paid taxes and insurance due without appropriate healthcare. It is observed, no immigrants from India wait for the long NHS list rather they travel to India for prompt treatment.

Now it appears the strategy is to recruit students from for foreign countries for nursing courses in UK Universities whereas this was not the case in the past. Here Universities make money, save their jobs, and no expenses for international requirements as the students here are automatically eligible for NMC registration. But if the trend continues in a few years all who pass the programme may not find job here. However chances are still good as declining takers for Nursing Courses from home population

They didn't come illegally to UK, proper channel with UK GOVTS permission to stay for 3 years. They are allowed to work from day one. Once they start working who will benefit? And 90% of them are educated and got either a bachelor or master's degree. But language is a barrier for them, 35% of them went back to their own country or either eastern europe. I work in I.T and I know they are good techies. Juz Google the brain behind WhatsApp. Lot'em been hired by our company itself. They are good n easy going ppl. On the other hand think about the Njammale Samadhana... peaceful guys coming illegally by boats... They will claim Asylum.... The decision will be made by 2 - 5 years ... If rejected, appeal..... All these time they been given money and stay in hotels , who's money?
