How to make an Outdoor Solar Chandelier

- Do you want to learn how to make an outdoor solar chandelier on a budget!
Have you always wanted an outdoor solar chandelier, maybe you don't have electricity, well this is the perfect solution for outdoor lights! You can replace the solar lights when they go out. I just love this outdoor solar chandelier.
We used 2 Dollar Tree garden fences, 4 solar lights, 1 chain with a hook on the end, 1 splatter pan, 1 wire work wreath frame, and zip ties all of which came from Dollar Tree then I used a can of white spray paint from Walmart. All the supplies from Dollar Tree would cost $10. plus the can of paint from Walmart that cost me less than $4. So less than $15. you can have a beautiful outdoor Chandelier for all of your fun times this summer. These would look great for any of your summer parties or cookouts. I have one suggestion on the lights , before u take the tabs out, set them out in the brightest sun u can for at least a day. The longer they soak up the sun ,the longer they will stay on when it's dark . I usually leave mine out a couple days BEFORE taking the tabs out . It really helps

I just made this in black and silver!! I added flowers as well! Perfect hanging from my umbrella. I just reach up and take Solar caps off during day and lay them in the sun. After sun down I just put the caps back on! I love it, and I LOVE AND NEED step by step! ❤

Rachel, you can heat that plastic up safely with a blow dryer set on high and it makes it much easier to fold. Like on the small one, you could get it to square up nicely to create a rectangular shaped lantern.

This is an awesome idea. The smaller chandelier would be nice to put on gravesites on a small shepherd hook. It could also be used as a driveway marker and use the reflectative paint to easily spot entrance.
One drawback with the video is you need to speak louder and towards the microphone . I look forward to more of your clever, instructional videos.

I LOVE this craft! Gonna make a few. One for my chicken run! Those ladies work hard and deserve a little bling! I'm thinking about adding some "crystals" and beads to the ones for my patio and going with my theme and painting one teal. Maybe two! Love the little one, too. So cute hanging from trees!

Super cute! I’m planning to move and something like this would be really cute on a deck. I think I would go for a coastal look and paint one a sea foam or ocean blue along with the white.

These are adorable Rachel. If you wanted, you could hang them on monofilament (or fishing line) Then you wouldn't have to buy the basket and the chains. 😊
Yes that is a great idea, but I used the baskets to make outdoor Turtles 🐢 to put in my flower beds. I posted that video also on my channel. 😊💕🐢

I have one that's far enough under the overhang that the rain doesn't get to it. Every year I buy flowering hanging baskets, and every year I forget to water them, so they die. Hanging the light from it would be a lot cheaper than one of those baskets and I wouldn't feel guilty for killing more plants. Plus it will stay dry and thus last longer. 👍
Thank you! This worked out great for my backyard party. I was able to bend the plastic easily because I used a lighter to warm up the plastic. Try it!

I checked Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Walmart and Amazon online. DT & DG was sold out for the season. Amazon was cheaper than Walmart. These are the ones that I found on Amazon:

I find your chandeliers charming the rectangular ones remind me of marrocan lamps which could be made by adding some coloured plastic film here and there...

On the small one, flip the brown right side up, zip the mesh to the cross piece of the brown piece.then the top of the solar light will be recessed. I love them all.
