@sim.ulationkoyo Your comment inspired a thought in my mind. Would love to see a scene where idiot trump meets the cool Fonz...Fonzie would send trump packing in a heartbeat!!! 😂😂😂
I'm 39, and wasn't even thought of when Happy Days originally aired, but I remember watching reruns in my single digits. Mr. Winkler is a national treasure. May the universe continue to protect him.
Ditto. He killed me in The Waterboy, too. Winkler is a staple in the TV, theater and literature industries. His was/is an executive producer on way more TV than many realize. What an artist.
It's a shame, newer generations don't have the patience for these old sitcoms. In part i believe It has to do with the timing of the dialogue and blocking. I know its blasphemy but in film school i re-edited an episode of I Love Lucy down from about 30min to about 22min by cutting out the air between the dialogue and blocking. Much better experience for younger generations. Jokes are still jokes.
The U.S. has a lot of beautiful souls we love over here too. Such a pleasant contrast to the ugly souls inflicted upon us recent years gone by. Your beautiful people far outweigh the ugliness and hope for good success for you good people too. Men like this shine and are so encouraging when we hear this and not "concepts" of that. Much love U.S..
Is Henry Winkler the greatest person to come out of Hollywood ... well, alongside Alan Alda?? Every interview you see him in, he is so humble and nice and spends most of the interview giving credit to everyone else, especially people we've never heard of that he thinks we need to know about. So unlike 99% of other 'stars' and wanna be's we get thrown in our faces 24/7. I could watch interviews with him all day. I feel better after watching this.
@@tracyturner-browne4012, loved bob newhart. both of his shows were fun, hilarious and always wholesome. “i’m larry, this is my brother darryl and this is my other brother darryl”!
Henry Winkler is a national treasure! We are lucky to know him in the way we do. As a special education teacher I want to shout out to his book series about kids with learning disabilities. He really did a great thing before people were fully aware of how to tackle that. A lot of my students benefited from that.
Happy Days one of the greatest series ever on TV and obviously Henry Winkler was the star. A true legend. It is so great to learn of the work he and Dolly Parton have done to promote reading around the world.
I have to say, Mr. Winkler is one of the dearest people we have the privilege to see. When I was in 4th grade waaay back when, his Aunt was our substitute Teacher for a week, sharing the same last name. Our whole class of 32 kids wrote him letters and she made sure he received them. I used to walk to school, walk home for lunch and watch Happy Days then walk back to school. Ahh, those were the days my friends. He is the pure example of the kind hearted people Mr. Rogers taught us to always look for in our lives, no matter what. 💙💙
What an unusually engaging and genuine decent human. Loved him as the Fonz as we all did, and of course- as the writer of the Duck Book too. Good actor!
I have loved Henry Winkler since his Fonzie days. I had no idea he was still so funny, personable and engaging. Have him on more often!!! What a love he is ❤
I grew up watching Happy Days and have to admit had a crush on Henry at 9 yrs of age. I listened to his book on audible and 50 yrs later felt stomach butterflies 🤣 thank you Mr Winkler for your kindness and thoughtful soul ❤
His energy is awesome. As a young kid and teen, I grew up watching him on Happy Days in the 70s. Such a fantastic show and his character, The Fonz, was everyone’s favorite. Thank you for those memories HW and each amazing cast member of Happy Days. ❤
I watched a happy days reunion show recently and it's crazy to see him where hes in between having been Fonz and getting up in age but not old yet. He was perfectly in the middle of his evolution from how we knew him to how we know him now.
Henry is the best storyteller I have ever heard bar none! He is funny and you know for sure he is not making up any part of the story! Must read his best selling memior😀
Henry Winkler has always been a favorite of mine. He is such a wonderful human being. He cares alot about everybody. God Bless you Henry Winkler. Love and Prayers from Canada 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸🙏✝️🦋
Listen to the audiobook of his autobiography. I did this summer while gardening and it was like having a friend talking to me as I worked. Such a sweet man.
Henry is such a joy & ray of light, & his son creates dark horror. Ha! Love it! So, did he do Monsters or the new Menendez bros doc? Both are compelling, but the doc sticks to the facts! Monsters was sensationalized & altered the narrative regarding the bros & the conversation around SA. Either way, I love Henry!❤
I am 66 (nearly67) , I remember watching the very first episode of "Happy Days" here in Australia and remember saying to my boss at the time that this was going to be a major hit and I wish I could invest in it..., he told me I was an idiot. 🤣
I admire the hell out of Henry Winkler. He's one of those celebrities that always produce quality work, no matter what work they're doing, use their position in life for the greater good, and hardly ever brag about their accomplishments. Mark Harmon is another celebrity like that. I'd love to set down & talk with both of them over a couple of beers for a couple hours or so.
I met Henry in ,1998 when I shared an office with a photographer who was doing head shots for him. He was so fun, sweet, talkative, relatable, genuine and bought our office lunch from the restaurant downstairs. I'll always remember that.💙🤣😻 I hope he sees this it was an old building directly catty corner from Capitol records.
I save his appearances on these talk shows! I love watching them & i never get tired of watching him! His humor & honesty, energy & love for life is so contagious! He makes me happy. I adore him 💖
Henry Winkler is one of the nicest people ever! He always seems happy and has so much energy and he is always nice to people. I just love him.
