I saw these guys live the other day..they put on a solid show. Very Down to Earth and cool guys (they were selling their own merch after the show). Refreshing to have bands like this around
I bet if the music industry played there stuff on the radio and mtv and got there stuff out there for the casual music listeners your friends would start giving them a chance.
your so right. as i said before, the strokes had to save rock n' roll for the 2000's. after them all these bands came out ripping off their style. a band comes out every decade to save rock and roll. nirvana saved rock for the 90's.
awesomely enough, The Redwalls are taking a stab at all the critics that say "its all been done b4" as in they are just like the beatles etc-nothing else. , So they basically are saying u know what, thats just your f*'in point of view. Pretty sweet song, and the lads perform it with high enthusiasm. =D
@Hambone75891 No way. The Strokes have their own amazing sound and helped create a genre unlike the Redwalls, who just imitate the beatles, although I enjoy their music.
Frankly I agree with you that this video is pretty much the same as The Strokes. But to start I don't think the idea was The Strokes, I mean pretty much every music video thats just clips of the band playing, which encompasses just about every artist's video who do not want some stupid animation or some lame story with horrible actors in it.
The bands not doing much, I got to school with Logan in Chicago but don't know him personally. Just heard that they went their separate ways... it's a shame
yea but who had the biggest effect the 90's? Nirvana. Nirvana had led that era and nearing the end of the 90's all the music got lame. Then the strokes toured in 2000 as a revolutionary band with quality music. Then all this other rock exploded. it's called indie. the biggest movement out right now. It's like the beatles. They are the most recognized british invasion bad. so they saved rock after elvis came out. Then all these other bands came out. history repeats itself.
You don't get bands like this anymore, legends!

I think both The Strokes and The Redwalls are great bands.

@ClashRocker1977
not everyone is as open minded to this.
*insert comment comparing The Redwalls to The Strokes*
@benglee14 lol if you think they're imitating the beatles, then you obviously dont have a clue about the beatles or the redwalls.

The bands not doing much, I got to school with Logan in Chicago but don't know him personally. Just heard that they went their separate ways... it's a shame
