There's something about this album that makes me feel a certain way. No other band or album makes me feel the way this does. I'm mostly into metal like Slayer, Sepultura, Electric Wizard, etc, but this album is definitely in my top ten. 10/10.

I got introduced to this song and band from Burnout Revenge while their other songs Mercury, Banquet (Phones Disco Edit), and Like Eating Glass was in other video games too. I was close to being 12yrs old when Burnout Revenge came out and I played that game like crazy with epic music like this playing in the background. I will never forget this. 😢

Everyone saying they miss music like this, look around the more underground scenes maybe even locally and youll find good rock and Punk, I was shocked, found a phenomenal band in my backyard.
Now its not gonna have major label production value but there is good music out there. Just no one signs bands (unless its like indie pop) anymore as far as i can tell. I can't speak to the UK but i Imagine its much the same. Plus they really need the support. Theres a wall between the artists and the fans who want to consume that art. Seemingly on purpose. I dont play much anymore but when i did my top ten was quickly rearranged to add bands i just played with, kinda surreal.

But it's bands like this and The Killers, Interpol, Panic!, Franz Ferdinand, TV on the Radio, The Vines, MGMT, DIOYY, Foals, etc that made being a *2000s teen* just the fucking best. Movies were better, music was better, we were just getting accustomed to tech and social media. The. Fucking. Best.

Well you omitted The White Stripes, The Strokes and The Hives but even with those bands included it doesn’t stack up to Nirvana, Mudhoney, Soundgarden, Radiohead, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Jane’s Addiction and on and on. 90’s was supreme and it ain’t just nostalgia.

Years ago, I used to watch a French gaming channel (Gameone) that made music videos using clips of specific games for any song that's made the charts somewhere. I remember hearing Helicopter for the first time as a music video for Sonic '06 of all games. That song was so good to my 12 year old ears that it made that game look good.

I never really went much beyond their first two albums, but those two albums are still in my rotation years on. They released two timeless albums that really stand up against the test of time. Silent Alarm really woke me up to different music at the time and brought me out of my rap only phase.
