just finished PT after partial achillies tear. Guess what I had to do, strengthen my feet and toes, improve mobility. I did everything you just demonstrated and a few others.

Great video and awesome suggestions. Over the years I've noticed that the best and most confident coaches have no problem sharing where they've gotten some of their ideas. Thanks coach

Try something like shamma sandals. Fixes the big man walk, where you sway side to side. Toes go forward instead of the duck angle. Those sandals do it naturally as walking with angled out foot is super awkward with sandals. When running you push with a more forward foot bias. Feels more powerful that way.

You are gonna laugh at this mr Garage strength but I've adopted ballerina and drummer foot strengthening drills into my daily routine, takes around an hour, and I split it into slightly different sessions which alternate every five days.
Since then, all my ankle, foot, knee and hip pain have disappeared and, at the age of 33, I I now feel far more nimble, quick and agile than before and I get tired far less.
This is a great video and hopefully this often neglected area of the body gets the attention it deserves.

    • @3DHDcat

Why laugh, that's what some fighters did aswell. Ballerinas get into crazy complex positions on just one foot no shame its very tough as it has to be graceful aswell

It’s a QWOP cosplay. QWOP is a game where you control knee flexion and hip flexion for each individual leg for a sprinter and try to run 100m. As you might expect it’s hard as fuck. The guy is actually completely on point for what it looks like.
